"Dagger! Dagger, stop daydreaming! We have an opportunity!"

Dagger shook himself conscious, looking around. He looked at what Professor Tisken was looking at.

On a screen projecting the feed of an interdimensional drone camera, an object who looked like a square off a periodic table with the power of transmutation had entered a section of a very deep forest looking for someone apparently very important. There seemed to be a purpose for programming it to detect such things after all.

"That's a catch. Exactly what we need. You were right about that universe. I'll boot up the transporter."
He pressed a few buttons and a few seconds later, the person from the forest appeared there in front of them.

He seemed stunned before noticing them.

"Put me back! Did Syringe send you after me?"

"HA! I don't even know who that is. No, we need someone's help who can transmute things."

".......You're working with a human."

"The professor, though human, is an intelligent lady. We've been very helpful with each other's projects, but you're the only capable of making the compounds and materials we need for the things we intend on creating to actually carry out their purpose."

"I'm not helping you make a nuclear weapon."

"You misunderstand. I'm a doctor, and for the last almost 200 years of my life I used SCPs to-"

"SCPs? Those are made up."

"They're actually real, you just don't know about them. Them being fiction is great cover for them being real. You must have children who introduced you to the concept."

"Had."

"Had, eh? Then we can make a deal with you. It'll take a long story to explain the deal, though."

"I don't have any choice but to listen."

"Glad you realized that. I'll start at what I think was the beginning."
