He looked at Adversary and managed a weak glare. He summoned all the strength in him, grabbing and dematerializing his hurt arm, before remaking it completely healed.

He got up, grabbed a fork out of the sink, turned the air on the ends into a dark green oily liquid and stabbed it into Adversary's right forearm.

"Cheryl, run, now!! Get upstairs as fast as you can! Wake Spot up!" she nodded and ran upstairs like lightning.

Before she could properly react, the compound burst into flames on contact, eating through skin, muscle, and bone. Adversary roared with pain. He grabbed the rings off her fingers and put them in a jar. Adversary was struggling to still stand as she tried to ignore the awful, burning, stabbing pain.

"YOU...how did you do that?! WHY CAN'T I MOVE MY FINGERS?!" Adversary screamed.

"Manganese heptoxide. There's things I would usually not try at home, but I made a special exception for you. It's able to eat through wood in the same manner Spot will devour raw meat. In addition, the tendons that would allow moving your hands are severed."

"Who's...Spot?"

Soshi laughed. "SPOT, COME DOWN HERE, BOY!" A big dog ran downstairs  and attacked Adversary. She wasn't helped by the easily exposed bleeding flesh and bone she was left with. Adversary grabbed Spot by the mouth and after straining to get up, kicked him aside.
The dog got up, ran back over and bit her leg and held on, forcing her to fall down. and breaking the leg the dog was holding.

Soshi sighed and sat down to catch his breath. Uno returned to see if Soshi was all right. He was definitely going to have a hard time getting that cleaned up now. He then looked at Adversary.

"I'm actually surprised you didn't back off. I'm capable of being a pretty dangerous adversary myself." He went quiet for a moment then started laughing. He laughed until he was able to calm down and looked back at her. She displayed a fiery glare and a disgruntled scowl.

"Laugh all you want. Even without the rings, I am a force to be reckoned with."

"But you're not left handed."

"How did you know it was right?"

"I'm not stupid. Your right would be my left. So the advantage was in favor of who was fastest."

"So you were prepared for me..."

"No. I expected to die protecting Cheryl with my last breaths. But you were slow. You're a sloppy fighter and depend on witchcraft. Those heavy digitigrade legs don't help."

"And now?"

Soshi opened the jar and picked up the rings. All this power for the taking. His eyes began to glow again as he considered it, the temptations of all the possible uses. The temptation to put an end to Adversary. He looked at Uno Card. She looked back.

"Soshi, remember your promise."

Soshi looked at the rings. "What should I do with them?"

"..."

"...I don't want anymore to do with these. Keep them away from me. Far away from anyone." Soshi replied, handing it to her.

"You...fools. Without the rings, I can't keep this world around."

Soshi looked over to Uno and hugged her. "I'm so sorry. I guess this is goodbye again."

She kissed him. "Don't despair. We will meet again. I'll always love you."

"Please... Don't go." Soshi said. The world faded into flames, then white, and then back to the darkness of that room Adversary found him in.
