A figure dressed in a cloak knocked on the castle door. A guard opened it.

"Who are you and what is your business?" The guard asked.

"I am Soshi. I am here to ask for an audience with the king."

"Then you will let us search your garment."

"I have no issue with that. I will leave it with you if you so want." He took off the cloak and handed it to the guard. The guard nodded. He escorted Soshi to a small room with a desk. It was wooden, with a wooden floor, and had potted plants and bookshelves of law codes lining the walls. He knocked in a particular rhythm. The man inside asked for a password. The guard replied with the password and the walked over and opened the door. It was Crowny.

"Soshi! My old friend! Where are the others?"

"I came alone to talk."

"Oh, that's odd. Sit down." He handed the guard a coin as if it were a tip and motioned for him to leave. The guard did that and shut the door before returning to his post.

Soshi sighed. "These last weeks have been hell. A couple months ago, CC died and a half month later, my family died in a fire in Yoyle City.
I decided to go into the forest and find the suspects and kill them or die trying. But I was abducted by a Dagger and a human calling themselves the Professor who asked for my help.
They wanted my help to remake their universes in a way that would have seen their lives go the way they wanted them to. I accepted and they gave me this ring. It drains the energy out of things in any way you can imagine and holds it in like a battery."

He showed Crowny the ring before continuing.

"I was sent back to that forest and found Piano Tile. One of the suspects. She resisted, the half wolf abomination she is. But I killed her and drained the energy out of her. I did that to all the scum in the city. I even put an end to Scruffy. I took all their power and even took Eileen's with some help from Pickelhaube and another guy.

I then turned the entire forest into energy and absorbed that. I gained the equivalent power to what a red dwarf star puts out in 9 seconds. Then  the Diamond Plains.
They filled up a canyon that was ridiculously large and held a castle within it. The mass that filled the canyon would have converted into the same amount of energy the Sun puts out in 3.2 years.
I had so much power. The power of a star within my veins. The thing that castle was hidden for was it leading to a pocket universe which all universes are somehow connected to.
I destroyed that dimension and held up my part of the deal and gave Dagger and the Professor what they asked for. But the team found me and stopped me by beating me to blacking out.
The universe reset itself. It changed the outcomes just to that CC was alive but in a coma."

"Well, why don't you go back to them?"

"After all I've done? I killed dozens of people. They'd hate me, and I'm too far gone for them."

"What are your plans then?"

"I don't know. Regain all that power and then what? What could I do?"

Crowny toyed with his scepter as if it were a karate stick. What could he do? His mouth stayed scrunched up in a frown. Then he had an idea.

"Eureka! I have an idea!" He shouted with a grin.

"What?"

"I've been building up air ships as I expected an invasion to appear. For some reason, it's not yet, and I know just how you can help."

"How?"

"Make the islands into a planet! You make things out of nothing, don't you?"

"No! I make them out of air! Transmutation need matter to be converted in the first place. This ring could allow make matter out of pure energy, but thats not feasible, as I need a planet sized amount of mass made into energy before I can do that."

"That's true, but the Aether has magic in the air already. Use that."

"...I guess. I'll see what happens."

Soshi got up.

"Leaving already, old friend?"

"I want to get this done as soon as I can."

"All right. See you soon." Crowny handed him the ring and let him out. Soshi hugged him, thanked him, and left. Crowny went back to working.
