As the daughter of David Scott and Vera Diaz she was their only child. She grew up in a house that was always full of people, her mom being a secretary for the local doctors office and her dad owned the carshop and hardware store in Mystic, a small town in Connecticut about three hours away from New york. But her family came from old money, but her parents lived normal even if they were loaded. Mystic is a beautiful New England town full of history and amazing old buildings and landmarks. It was surrounded by water and was famous for its museum and lighthouse. Jenna grew up in a big corner house, on the outside it looked old and well maintained but her mom and dad took good care of it. Inside it was sleek, modern and every inch and corner of the house felt like home for anyone who stepped in.

She is the typical girl next door, beautiful without realizing it, friendly and loved by everyone but never populair like she wanted. She hated that. She had her teen and high school romances but her life was drama free, no major drama like losing a parent or a bad break up. The only thing she could remember was losing her grandfather Jensen Scott, her parents named Jenna after him. For outsiders he was the meanest, toughest and biggest person there was, but for those who knew him, knew not to mess with him he was loved by everyone, he protected his people and his town. Jensen was a loved man..

A true beauty, a girl with long dark brown wavy hair, brown eyes with traces of green in them, full lips and an hourglass figure. She was small but fierce. That was her Spanish side coming through. Never needing makeup she was a natural beauty in any way. Everyone she went to made people comfortable be around her, especially kids, they instantly bonded with her.

Chapter one..

Are you sure about this? Vera asked. I don't know mom, but I rather live with regret, than what if. Jenna said as she stood there with all of her belongings in four suitcases. Aw come on Vera, don't make it more difficult we all just stopped crying. and she needs this David said. Thank you dad Jenna said as she looked at her parents. She could feel the tears rising and she quickly blinked them away and changed the subject.

So I'll check in every three days, and we visit each other every four months if possible. But remember there is a time difference and I need to get on my own feet and need to get out there.. we know honey, but you leaving the country is something else her mother said. Just be safe honey and remember what grandpa taught you.. as Vera hugged her daughter longer then needed and soon her Dad followed. You guys know that I love you right.. We know Kid. we know David said as he kissed his daughters head. Remember no English assholes, no boys allowed, not even superman.. ;)

After landing in Londen she arrived at her house.

With the help from her Mom and Dad Jenna rented a secluded cottage in Old Amersham outside of London, it was about a 40 almost 60 minute drive. It was a beautiful stone house with dark wooden frames and roof, surrounded by woods and three's it was a hidden gem. But most importantly it was big, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and loads of space outside and private if something would happen or if she needed to get kids to safety

Here you go mam, all of your belongings. Can I get you something else or do you need help getting your belongings inside - the cab driver asked. Actually, could you stay and help me with my bags and drive me to a place where I can rent a car on my own? Jenna said.

Of Course mam, not a problem. - Thank you so much for your help. After getting all of her four suitcases in the house Jenna was sitting in the back of the cab while making small talk with the driver.

So what is a pretty lass like you doing and moving here for? Jenna smiled. I moved here to help people, especially kids. - Really, what do you do for a living then? - I am a human rights attorney and next week I'm starting to work for a non profit organization to help foster kids. - That's beautiful of you. Why so far away from town then? - to help them, i wanted a private and big space for kids if they needed help. And I trust you will forget this conversation once I leave you. - Of Course Lass...no harm done. - I'm Tommy - Nice to meet you Tommy, I am Jenna.. - Well Jenna, if you ever need anything or help with the little buggers, please call this number as he reached into his jacket and pulled out a business card. I mean it is called anytime or any day.. I will keep my mouth shut..- Well that's very nice of you, thank you. I might take you up on that - you what? - Jenna smiled.. It means I might do that and call you if I need help. Tommy, is there a chance you could show or tell me how London works. Of course, London is a mixture of cultures and people. all types of people and all types of income, you can see and find them anywhere. I've seen my fair share of horrors and people who got lucky. But you live in a quiet area surrounded by woods, forest and the most beautiful walking paths. Some celebs live in the area but we don't bother them - I understand, the town I'm from was always visited by famous people when they wanted some peace and quiet, they are just people like us Jenna smiled - well said Lass, well said.

So we are here Lass, call me when you want a tour and if you need help. - I will Tommy. Thank you.

Jenna rented a simple black car, nothing to fancy because if anything would happen she wanted a simple car, nothing memorable. After stopping at some furniture stores and the grocery store, she found herself alone for the first time in her new house. Thinking about her mom and dad she checked the time and facetimed them. Hi Sweety! do you miss us yet Vera said - giggling she declined and filled her mom and dad in what she already did and she showed the house. After a two hour talk they said their goodbyes and Jenna got ready for bed.

The next day Jenna woke up and felt a little bit jet lagged, craving some food and coffee she got up showered and drove to town. One of the reasons she chose for Old Amersham was it reminded her of home, she did some online research and it was just everything she needed.

She parked near the mainstreet, with every step closer to the local coffee shop she looked around her. Taking in the sun, buildings and people. They actually smiled and greeted her even though she was a stranger. Pulling the door open she entered a big bistro, leather couches, different tables and chairs. A big coffee bar with fresh pastries and cake and some simple breakfast and lunch options. Grabbing a table near the window in the corner she opened her laptop and started to look for some more stuff for her house and her cases.

Now that's a face I would remember everywhere and in my dreams - Jenna heard next to her. She looked up and saw one of the male barista's looking her up and down. Blond hair, blue eyes and a handsome face but the way he looked her up and down put her off. - Excuse me, did you say anything? - American too? well that is just perf... - Leave the girl alone Jacob, what did I say about flirting with the customers? a young curly blond girl said. Come on off you go... I'm terribly sorry about that, what can I get you? - Can I have a cappuccino extra strong and something to eat and surprise me. - Surprise you?, any allergies? - nope and i eat anything. - Finally a normal person, the girl laughed as she walked away.

Some minutes later she arrived with Jenna's coffee and some avocado toast with poached eggs. Omg! this is perfect, you read my mind Jenna smiled - You're not from around here? no actually i just moved and i'm still exploring, it's my first time walking around - And you came to my shop? i'm honored miss the girl said. - oh, please don't call me that, you're probably younger than me i'm Jenna. - I'm Lynn, this place belongs to my grandparents. So where are you from? - A place about three hours away from New York. That's so nice. When did you move? - Jenna smiled Just yesterday so i'm trying to get to know the customs and places to go - Well if you ever need help, let me know. - I will thank you, Lynn and thank you again for this.

The food and atmosphere were good, the talking people in the shop made her feel like home. What was it about coffee that always made you feel like home? And after another couple rounds of shops she almost had everything she needed for the house and herself. Driving home she saw a man jogging on the road with a big white and black dog beside him. slowing down i made sure they weren't spooked about me driving by especially the dog. The owner noticed and raised his hand as a thank you and it made me nod in response.

Chapter two..

The following weeks Jenna started her job, mostly two days in court and two days with the kids and observing them with their family's.

She quickly bonded with her co-workers and the kids who were in crisis care and longer care. She worked hard and honest and whatever would happen she would tell the kids the truth. So far so good, there were no crisis calls or something else that needed her immediate attention. So she could focus on her cases and kids. She was screening a new possible foster family, somehow it was too good to be true she felt but she couldn't find anything weird or wrong about them.

Jenna? wanna grab some dinner with us before it starts? Jamie, one of her co-workers said. - Before what starts? - The rain, it's gonna storm tonight, that's why we are heading out tonight. - Storm? it has been like this for days, it's gonna get worse? - yes it will, the last days were nothing - So, who is gonna be on call tonight? - Me and Joseff. We got it. You can go or join us. - No it's okay, I have a date tonight. I'll pass this time - A date? - Yeah facetime with my parents she smiled - I get it Jamie said. well be safe and enjoy. - you too, and if you need anything call me - I will Jenna.. - and next time it's on me!

The house looks wonderful, her mom said - it kind of reminds me of home, so how have you been? - Well you know, the town fair and elections. You know how the people here are like around this time of year - Jenna laughed.. yeah i know, that i don't miss making them all laugh. Where is Dad? - I'm here, kid. Just got here. you look good, how is everything, meet any boys? - I'm, good Dad and yess, and a handsome one too! But no, I'm doing great. Work is somehow amazing regarding they are kids and what they go through. The house is coming together, and you should see the town I live in. It's beautiful. It reminds me of the old part close to the lighthouse at mystic.I've met people and started to make some friends and i found a great coffee place which reminds me of Barry's ! I'm glad I chose this but it's all still new. she said as the rain started to get heavy and was accompanied by thunder. As soon as it started the line got worse and repeatedly was causing trouble and at one point she shouted that she would call back.

Sitting down on the couch she was trying to focus on Jasmine, a 14 year old in foster care, but she thought she heard something outside. Looking at the big double doors kitchen windows she saw nothing. 5 minutes later again she heard something. standing up she walked towards the lightswitch which controlled the light outside. Turning them on Jenna looked for an explanation of what she might have heard. nothing.. but when she was about to turn she saw it. two big eyes staring at her, ears down, head down and shivering. A big black and white dog.. It reminded her of that dog last week. She watched as the dog was soaking wet and shivering clearly scared of the thunder. Taking a breath she opened the door and crouched down. Hey handsome, wanna come over here where it's warm and dry? I promise I won't hurt you? she noticed the dog reacted to her words but it was looking around.

Well I'll leave the door open and you can come in, can I make you some food? come in boy. She fully opened the door and walked into the kitchen opposite of the doors. grabbing some chicken out of the fridge she started to shred the meat and put it on a plate as she tried to ignore looking at the dog. Putting the plate with chicken down she looked at the dog who was now standing on the porch dry but still hesitant to come in.

I have some chicken for you, come in as she walks away towards the bathroom and grabs some towels. Jenna's kitchen has multiple entrances so she could walk in, in any direction. waiting for the porcelain plate to make sounds on the stone floor she quickly walked around and closed the door.

For some reason the dog didn't panic, it just accepted the warmth and food. sitting down onto the floor she waited and watched him. checking the time she pulled out her phone and looked for animal shelters closeby. none, well that's weird. Hey handsome, can you come here? And to her surprise it walked towards her. Definitely friendly and house trained. Can you come here? as she patted the floor next to her. And it did what she asked. Can you sit? again it did what she asked. Please sit still as she got up and started to dry the dog with the towels and soon she found out the dog was just a big goofball with his tongue out while getting belly rubs.

Three days earlier across town.

KALL COME BACK! !! KALL ... shit! Charlie yelled from Henry's backyard. Henry is gonna kill me, he thought to himself. Henry told him that Kal was scared of the thunder and lightning. but no Charlie didn't have to go for a walk. Fuck! His phone started ringing. Fuck it was henry.

Okay Handsome, i will be back around lunchtime and hopefully i will find out where you live and get you home. Jenna said as she rubbed and patted Kal's head. It has been two days since she found the poor thing soaking wet outside in her yard. She checked every site there was, no one was missing a dog, not local ones.. She bonded with Kal, he followed her everywhere and even slept on the foot of her bed. He was a big old teddy bear, he looked intimidating but the friendliest dog ever. She was gonna miss him.

Driving through town, the sun was shining and it was a bit busier than normal. She stopped for some dog stuff and checked the local post office for any missing dog flyers. This time she came prepared, she left her phone number for whoever might be looking for a dog.

Henry closed his coat as he was walking around with a heavy heart, trying to look for Kal. nothing at all. There was no trace of him anywhere, he could be anywhere. He was hanging up missing posters and calling every animal shelter there was. He was tired; he had been looking for Kal for days. Stopping at his last familiar stop, he parked his car and walked into the post office.

Good Morning lad, how can I help you? - actually i was wondering if you could copy a bunch of these. I'm looking for my dog. - Your dog? - What kind of dog? - big and black with white paws an American Akita named Kal.- Really, someone found a dog a couple of days ago with that description. - What? Henry's heart fluttered as he heard he may have found Kal. Do you know where they live? - No I can't help you with that as the old man said as Henry lost hope again and saw the old man walk away into his office but came back a couple of seconds later.,. But I remember, I have their phone number. They left it here just in case anyone came looking for a dog, i tell you they looked for the owner everyday and stopped here everyday just to see if someone put up posters here is the number. For almost what felt like an eternity looking for Kal the old man gave Henry the Grabbing his phone he dialed the number.

Just as Jenna put her dinner in the oven her phone rang. Jenna speaking. Hi, this is Henry uh i got this phone number from the post office because you found a dog and i believed you found mine. Ow my god really? I've been looking for days, please be his owner. When did you lose him? - I didn't my brother Charlie did, he was supposed to watch him but he bolted with the storm - I know i found the poor thing in my backyard soaking wet, it took him some convincing to come in. the chicken did the trick Jenna said. making Henry laugh at the other end of the line - What's his name? - I'm sorry? - What is his name? - It's kal.. - Kal? Like superman? - that made Henry smile yes as in Superman - Wait a sec, Kal can you come over here? As soon as Jenna said his name he ran up to her and started barking - Henry immediately recognised his bark - I think it's a match she responded and barked and I'm currently underneath him Jenna giggled. - Yeah he does that when he is happy. Can I come and pick him up? - sure but wait, i'm gonna send you a picture just to make sure.

Henry heard the sound and opened the text, and there he was called with his head tilted in a kitchen he didn't recognise. That's him alright Henry said to Jenna. - Really? perfect, i'll text you my address.

Henry arrived at a beautiful hidden home between the trees. He parked his rover and got out. Quickly gathering himself for any fan surprise he pushed down his nerves. walking over he rang the doorbell.

Jenna jumped up as soon she heard the doorbell, Just a minute! as she made her way towards the door. But what she didn't expect was to open the door and to find superman on her doorstep. Hi she smiled, you must be Henry? - yes hi, we spoke on the phone, are you Jenna? - yes I am, she smiled... please come in... Kal looks who is here ( Kal, i get it now )... as she
