"Where do you think you're going?"

Hours after Aecha's attack to an intruder in whom we discovered was my brother, I have made a realization that I must leave and find him. I cannot sit idly by and watch as he destroys everything that we have worked hard for. I cannot just watch him get consumed by my aunt's possession. I have to save him.

"Are you the original Lucian?" Thomas asked and emerged from the shadows.

I have been caught.

"Yes...Yes I am," I answered him.

"What are you doing sneaking around?" he questioned me. He wasn't angry or upset. The fairy was just good-natured and an over-all calm man who was concerned with everyone's safety.

"I will search for Lucius, please tell them to not worry," I told him. If I left with everyone's eyes opened, I doubt that I'll even set a foot near the door.

"You really are reckless aren't you?" he chuckled and started to walk towards me with no intention of doing any harm. "You go on saying whatever you want to say. You do things that you think that would save everyone but you end up hurting the ones you love. You go accept a random tree's offer of making a child but don't even think of taking responsibility for it. I think...yeah, you're really reckless. The most responsible persons are the most irresponsible ones," he stated and stopped in front of me.

He towered over me with a significant height and I had to tilt my head to see him looking down at me. It was hard to believe that he was my son. I did not mean for it to happen. I was an ignorant individual during my encounter with Mister Ling Tree and I didn't imagine that he was telling the truth about me having a child with him in a form of a fairy. I can understand if Thomas was hiding his disappointment with me. I was never there for him like I was for Luscev.

"Are you upset about it?" I asked. "An apology wouldn't make up for the all the years that I have been absent and I can understand if you do not see me as your father," I told him.

I looked down on my shoe covered feet and remembered how my parents became the worst when it came to raising a child. I have sworn that I would be a good parent and that I will never follow the tracks of my parents. I made it to a point that I would always heed my uncle's advice when it came to raising Luscev because I always thought of uncle as my father instead of my real one. He and my oniisan gave me the guidance in which my parents could never give me. They lent me their warmth and love that held me above from drowning in the sea of numbing despair. I owed them a lot and without them, Luscev could have ended up having the same parents as I have.

"I did not contribute anything to what you are right now and I am grateful to those who helped you attain the person you are right now," I added and looked directly at Thomas's teary eyes. "And from what you have showed us throughout our whole stay here, you have become someone great and worthy of being surrounded by good people."

Thomas sniffed and released a breathy sigh. Tears finally escaped his eyes. "I have grown accustomed to having been a disappointment of my mother for being someone who does not fit in any category." The fairy wiped his eyes that continued to drip with salty tears.

"My mother does not even acknowledge my father and I sometimes even heard her call me a parasite or a demon's seed," he laughed. "Being an outcast, being restricted from the things that I enjoy, and being the man who cannot love someone because of differences had made me hate the life given to me. I always ask myself what's the purpose of living in this hateful life that I grew in but perhaps having my papa tell me that I am special and that someday someone will understand me gave me hope to continue to connect people."

I have no idea how this conversation started and I was genuinely curious on why people hated him. Thomas had lost me at demon's seed.

Uncle always called me a scatterbrain and he was right.

"Was it because your fetish of preserved genitalia of men?" I asked.

I do not see it strange anymore or worth being hated on. People should follow the trend of having preserved genitalia in hand wherever they go.

Thomas laughed at my statement and his tears finally halted. "That was partly one of the reasons but what upset me the most was being called as the unwanted child."

That was ridiculous.

"You are not an unwanted child. You are just the product of my ignorance as a teenager.

"Oh my God..." uncle sighed after a while of being silent.

If uncle was silent he was either resting or just pondering whether or not he should regret his sacrifice.

"What is the matter uncle? You didn't tell me that you were acquainted with Rapahel's and Samael's ex-Father," I commented.

"I have just gotten acquainted with him just now," he sighed. "Nephew, what you told him and what he told you that he abhorred were basically the same."

Ahh...

"Forgive me, I stand erected," I apologized and bowed. My apology sent Thomas to a laughing mess until I placed my finger against my lips to indicate that he was getting too loud.

Thomas snickered and pinched his nose before finally sighing deeply and smiling away any traces of his confessed sadness earlier. "I am sorry Papa Twink but I cannot let you have your merry way. Tell you what? I will tour you around the city and while we're at it, I'll contact every source that I have to get an update about the Fairy Organization that has the connection with your brother. How does that sound?"

I looked up in thought and then nodded. That seemed fair enough knowing that I don't even know where to start looking. My brother mastered controlling nature. He can control nature to hide himself from me.

"And Eliza is considered as one of the greatest warriors of our time. With Lucius's strength and with her wisdom, we will have a difficult time finding him. And he already found us before we can find him," uncle pointed out.

"It is best to be prepared for his attack Your Highness. Let him come to you because charging first while unprepared will cause a great devastation on our part," one of the aishah's advised.

It was settled then.

"Stay here and I shall inform my darling about our destination," Thomas's instructed. "Don't step beyond this mansion without me alright? I will help you with your goal," he assured me before disappearing and before I could even respond.

I have no other choice then.

I waited for Thomas to arrive and my attention was directed to a knock at the window behind me. Hm? We were in the second floor. How can someone knock from there? I turned around and found a pale glowing man floating with a smile on his lips. He had silver-hair like Thomas and he had glowing grey eyes that matched the radiance of the moon. From what I can tell, he was completely naked.

I pushed the window up and came face-to-face with the smiling man that had long leaves tucked behind his ears. His chiseled body was as big as Thomas's huge frame. It wouldn't take a Wye Fye to not be able to identify who he was.

"Mister Ling Tree," I acknowledge monotonously. He had a man form. Where were his fruit lings?

"We finally get to talk again and after such a long time," he chuckled. "Should I state my introduction or have you forgotten it already?"

I tilted my head at him and chuckled. "I have forgotten. Would you mind?"

Tom the tree spun around graciously and faced me with a bow. "Salutem! (Greetings!), I am Tom. I am a professional baby-maker, fruit bearer, fortune-teller, bystander, day sleeper, afternoon sleeper, night sleeper, and dawn sleeper. Would you like a penisot? (Penis?)"

Ah, now I remember.

"You're the reason why Thomas suffered. Please impregnate a woman who actually knows that you're impregnating her," I deadpanned.

Tom hummed in amusement. "Will do," he replied. "But I can't say that I am disappointed with Thomas. Thanks to your genes, he became a remarkable man."

I nodded in agreement especially to the gene part. "It was a shame that I could not become a father to him."

Tom waved his finger at me and grinned. "It's never too late to become the person you desire to be. Remember that you aren't the one to blame for everything bad that happens around you. All of us are merely at the mercy of the creator of this world. It is just a matter of time when He finally decides to take you."

My eyes furrowed and then lingered on a depressing thought. "But is it a life worth-living in if He wants us to live in a way that He wanted?"

I remembered how He controlled Samael and how His other angels blackmailed Raphael into coming back when he didn't want to.

Tom gave the top of my head a pat. "Living in a way that makes you unhappy is a life not worth living in even if the exchange for obedience is eternal life. Live a meaningful life. Fight for the things that make you feel right and in the end, taking your last breath is not as heavy as taking an unaccomplished one," he advised.

Hearing him say that eased my heart a little.

"Thank you. Say Tom, what are you?" I asked him.

Tom snorted and started to float away. "I really can't tell...I am just a travelling tree that likes to see the time fly and the people tire.

I smiled at Tom and waved at him. "I will remember you in my last breath," I told him.

Tom bowed again. "It would be a great privilege to have a hero remember me in his last moments. It is kinda poetic don't you think?"

I nodded one last time at him before he completely disappeared into glitters.

"Uncle, do you want to try having an affair with him?"

Uncle should try to taste other men as well.

"I will not answer that question nephew and please try to restrain yourself. You seriously do not have boundaries."

I laughed at my uncle's frustration. "It is because I stand erected uncle."

Just right after Tom vanished, Thomas arrived all set to go. He offered me his arm to grab on and I slipped my hand on his hard bicep before the two of us exited the mansion. Thomas assisted me in climbing inside his metallic bug and we set off.

"Thomas, have you lived a meaningful life?" I asked.

Thomas flashed me a kind smile that was much similar to Tom. "Why the sudden question Papa Twink?"

"I don't know...It's just that I have realized something. Instead of saving the world I suddenly wished to just aim for watching the end with everyone around me but the thought of having the humans suffer because of their fate is the thing that is stopping me," I admitted.

"The humans have created various religious organizations as their way to fight for themselves. They believe that their God will lead them to salvation and if they serve right, they will end up receiving the prize that the bible had been saying for the last 1500 years," Thomas said. He continued to manipulate the bug as he talked. "In all honesty Papa, I want you to let the humans be. The humans can fight for themselves because no matter what you do, the good and the bad will both be judged and base on Samael's rant, only a few can be saved," he said.

The bug stopped in front of an establishment with glass as its walls. Thomas got out of the bug and then opened the bug's wing for me to exit. "But we are affected are we not? This is not only the human's fight. I cannot understand why we act like we live in a different world," I pointed out. All plans of just living for my own were thrown out and crushed like Wye Fye's remains.

The fairy chuckled and offered his arm to me again. "But the focus of punishment is on them. It's for that reason why I am not worried."

Focus?

No...If the punishment was focus on them then their God wouldn't have included Samael in His plans when Peaches clearly didn't want anything to do with Him.

I stayed silent after his statement but I cannot believe what he had said. We live in the same world therefore; the agony that will be bestowed will be equally spread out.

The scent of cooked meals caressed my senses and a man wearing a white long sleeved shirt assisted us to a red table. Why was I the only one stressing about this? Why was I the only one worrying when I was the most apathetic among them all when it came to dire situations?

Why cannot I attain peace?

Thomas noticed my inner turmoil and he placed his hand on top of mine. "Papa Twink-"

A loud crash of splintering glass caused everyone to panic and scream. The sound of a blood-curdling scream resonated and I found a huge bat-like creature that had long elongated teeth and red gleaming eyes feast on the man who yelled for help. More sounds of metal and glass being broken occurred and flying creatures snatched the people walking outside with their sharp claws.

"Demons!" Thomas gasped.

A cracking noise came up and the ground shook. The floor beneath me became warm and then it felt really hot that I had to raise my feet and look at why it felt extremely scorching.

"Let's go Papa!"

The road that I was looking at burst with red lava and that was the time that Thomas warped us back to the mansion with everyone in the living room waiting. Cain, Keetan and another boy named Abel were with them.

"There are demons everywhere," Thomas started.

"Should we be insulted?" Cain rudely snapped.

Multiple versions of Lucian popped up and I was welcomed with various ways by my four lovers and Luscev.

"Well what can you expect? Lucifer came back to hell and suddenly decided that Hell on Earth should be literal!" Cain gritted out.

"Lucifer did this?" Thomas asked.

"Yes...and he didn't seem to be himself as he did so. Mister Wall won't even look at me," Keetan murmured sadly.

"And Samael?" Thomas asked and embraced Coco in his arms.

"He reported back. The fucker suddenly decided to return, here," he said and threw a scroll at Caleb.

Slade was currently strangling me with his arm but I would appreciate that he first set aside his affection for I really wanted to know about Peaches' condition.

"He went back to reaping?" Raphael questioned.

"Something is definitely wrong with those two," Slade grunted.

Another earthquake shook the ground and Slade withdrew his brutality and replaced it with a strong hold of security. Raphael held the other Lucian on place and Thomas gave instructions for our next course of action.

"I will contact Luka and Ark. We should split up into two groups; one for Lucifer and one for Samael. We don't know anything about them so it is better if we work together as a group."

"If anything happens, we can evacuate to-"

Luscev was cut off from his statement when his device rang. My son answered the call in the middle of the shaking ground. "What? The Land of Eli surfaced?"

"Just like what you predicted nephew. On this day, every creature will be judged," uncle commented.

A shiver ran up and down my spine and a feeling of discomfort bubbled inside of me.

"Great, just great!" Slade groaned.

"Praise Jesus right?" Cain spat sarcastically.

A/N: Yaaaay. 3 more chapters? I personally think that I should learn how to limit the chapters to 30 or less just like my other stories.
