My mind was in a shatter of confusion and awe. My life was lie. I was not an ancient which was the phony race of life; I was an Aishah.

To summarize what Asahi told me earlier, there were two main races which created the Ancient race: the Aishah and the Dearil. These two races did not get along and had a childish dispute because of their differences. The Aishah must not have liked how the Dearil race smelt.

How rude.

One must not judge a person by their smell alone. They should include how they look, how they sound, what they eat, what their behavior was and how they handle life completely so that their judgment will be complete and reliable.

That was how I judge other people. I judge them with an unabridged basis in order to win a conversation in the most illogical way. One may call it cheating but in order to be victorious, you must use all resources to put your enemy down and bury them in the pits of Raphael's feathery armpits.

However, cheating was such a despicable word. I will replace it with "outsmarting the idiots who decided to take the hard way just to make themselves suffer." I always had the belief that no matter hard you work, if it is not accompanied by creativity, one's diligence was nugatory.

Work smarter not harder.

Yes, be crafty like Samael.

Be an obvious barbaric con like Slade.

Be a childish and manipulative paw-licker like Fenris.

And never be honest like the martyrs Sevor and Raphael.

My lovers....I wonder how they were doing right now? I have left them without even explaining myself. I left them without even saying how I feel about them. I have betrayed them. I do not deserve them yet I can't have myself prevent the feeling of longing.

I miss them dearly.

And they must have hated me.

I want to see them and hold them.

Leaving them was wrong but it was beneficial for the majority. I needed to save them and now I don't even know if I really rescued everyone from their undesirable end.

Should I have just stayed?

Should I have just waited and let the world be devoured in rot? It could have been still a beautiful occurrence for me because even if the world did end, it ended with me being surrounded with the people I loved the most. It could have been a life worth living. It could have been an end worth seeing because we get to spend it together.

"You seem quiet Lucian. What exactly are you thinking?" Asahi asked snapping me out from my thoughts. His voice was amused.

From what I observed from this man, his ways of achieving things were from sheer violence and manipulation. Though he had similar ways with Samael, he seemed more...cold-blooded.

He was domineering and his presence demanded respect because one false move would cause the world to freeze around you, turn any scorching weather into subzero and inevitably lead you into your demise.

The fallen emperor was still watching the other tensed man as he drove this advanced transportation bug. And because of Asahi's intense concentration, I too was forced to observe the technique of how the creatures of today get from one place to another in this metallic bug. I have never seen such creature before and something about the environment was a bit off.

"You cannot read my mind like uncle?" I asked him.

Wait, did uncle and the other ancients know about ojisan? (grandfather?) Where were they anyway? Why haven't they talked until now? My mind was only ruled by Asahi's voice alone.

"I am the one outside Lucian. You're the one who's supposed to know what I'm thinking," he chuckled.

Oh, I did not know about that. I believe it was my first time being the one inside and not the other way around.

Now I fear that I would not be sexually active like uncle. I do hope Asahi returns my body before I become a mere spectator of sexual intercourse.

"Ojisan, does my uncle and the other ancients who live inside of me know you? And where are they? They are eerily quiet."

Surely after living this long inside of me, the other ancients must have noticed a fallen emperor living within me and surely after seeing this much, my uncle should have reacted to my brother being possessed by his insane wife.

"I am good at hiding Lucian and to tell you the truth, I am still finding answers to why they are not present. Their powers should have suppressed my awakening by now but they are not here. It is only you and I," he murmured and stared at his reflection at the side mirror of this bug.

He was no longer a catastrophe it would seem. He shifted from being a cataclysmic entity into the life side contributed by the Aishah bloodline. He had a bright red hair nearing the pink side much like the crimson color. Samael's hair was more of the carmine shade. The emperor's eyes were of two colors as well: Yellow and Red. His pale skin radiated with a mild yellow glow that made him look like a firefly in the night. He was different from any other ancient.

He was sophisticated with his every word and every movement he made was oozing with elegance. His eyes glimmered with malice and intuition. He had a charismatic and domineering aura that was clearly affecting the man seating beside him. If I was given a chance to throw out two words to describe him those would be: callous and formidable.

"Your uncle and the other ancients aren't really...ancients. They are pure Aishahs as well though they do not have the knowledge of that. Only a few knew about the history of the Aishah and Dearil. The elders of the Ancient race have intelligence of that history and filtered out those who are to be sacrificed for your purification, which is not necessary for you have not really died. I just lost control at that moment when you were brought to this world," he explained. "And who are you calling grandfather? May I remind you of your age?"

Ah, so I wasn't the one being purified. It was Ojisan.

"Forgive me Asahi. It is just that you seem to be a bratty old man with your way of things. But something is bothering me for awhile," I spoke and trailed off a bit.

"I will forgive you for your insolence...for now. What is bothering you?" he questioned. His tone left no room for escape. What Asahi wants Asahi gets it seemed.

"After all these years, why didn't you make your presence known even before?" I asked him.

Asahi was living inside of me even before I was born. He had seen everything. He knew me and all the darkness that I have been through and it made me curious of what he thought about me all this time. I would like to know him better now that we have finally had our introductions.

"I've made myself known many times Lucian. First was your birth, second was when I lent you my power to destroy a woman who decided that her life's purpose was to annoy you and the last was when three Aishahs were sent to get you and ended up taking innocent lives which upset you the most. All those years that I have been living within you I have been in a deep coma because of the suppressing powers of your own and by all the Aishahs living within you. My awakenings were intermittent and it all depended on the stimulation of your emotions and physical state. That belt that you wore before helped me stay awake for some time until...you decided to not wear it anymore," he replied.

Whenever Asahi talked, I always feel like it would be forever. His statements were so long that I believe that I would reach the period of my heat.

But then the purpose of that belt was to suppress my powers which were greater than any ancient or er aishah. It was possible that my parents did not think about the effect that it would do to the catastrophic essence living inside of me.

"Also...there is that one time that your emotions were raised to the highest peak due to traumatic events that you can no longer handle. I believe you were only a child. I had to take...careful measures to erase my aid in order to keep my presence confidential even in your memory," he revealed.

The way he divulged that information made it seem like it was also a bitter memory that he would like to repeat over and over again just so he can slash it to bits.

Was he saying that my magister (teacher) was not executed by my parents but by...him?

And was he also saying that he had ways to filter out my memories without my uncle and the other aishas finding out?

Just how much control did this fallen emperor have over my body?

"How come Samael could not include you in the soul count when he tried to determine mine? He said that I had 1004 souls. It should have been 1005 souls because you are in me," I pointed out.

I heard a chuckle from him that caused the man who had volunteered to take us to a village tense up even more. "I ate one of the souls of the three Aishas who had a mission to get you right after they got transferred to your body. After consuming one, I went back to sleep," he simply stated like he was referring to the soul as simply a fish dish.

"You are a cruel man Asahi. You are a very cruel man..." I deadpanned.

He hummed. "You have yet to see what a ruthless Asahi is Lucian," he replied.

The road continued on and it would seem that Asahi was getting bored when he yawned and crossed his legs.

"Stop," he ordered and our volunteer abruptly did so. The sound of shrieking was heard and both men were pulled forward from their seats.

"Wh-what is it sir?" the man stuttered out.

"I'll take it from here," Asahi replied. "Get in the back seat," he ordered and the man scrambled to the back with his head first landing and his lower body representing what was supposed to be his torso.

"Do you even know how to manipulate this thing? Asahi does not need to show off if he does not have anything to show at all," I deadpanned.

"You underestimate me Lucian," he chuckled out loud when he took the place of the man from before.

Asahi pushed something with his foot below, grabbed the wheel and the somewhat lever thing beside him and controlled this metallic caterpillar with much ease and knowledge like he had some experience of doing this before.

"I'm a fast learner..." he boasted off.

As minutes passed by the speed of the bug accelerated and I now doubted Asahi's sanity when he used the built of this bug to grind against other peace-loving bugs to scare them into giving him a wide path to play in.

Asahi was a madman.

I could already hear the man from behind us cry and sob as he seem to talk to himself about how much he regretted all his sins like transporting bags of illegal drugs tonight and storing them in the trunk of this bug.

An alarming sound radiated from behind and the color of blue and red lights reflected at the mirror in front of us.

"We have attracted attention Asahi," I sighed. I don't even think that he cared about that.

"The police are here. Oh Thank God!" the man exasperatedly exclaimed and had half of his body out of the window of the bug as he waved at the so called "police."

"Help me! Someone help me! I'm taken hostage by a lunatic!" he screamed.

Asahi had his foot push harder on the pad that seemed to control the speed of this creature and the man from behind cried harder in order to save himself from the fallen emperor's rough play.

The race of metallic caterpillars continued on and I have long given up on reminding Asahi about the need to prevent endangering both of us because it would be a literal catastrophic event that no one would want. The chase led us to a bright lit area with tall structures and a bigger population of an unknown race.

"Tsk...persistent," Asahi grumbled.

"Perhaps they want you to slow down? If you haven't noticed Asahi-san, your thinking of fun does not seem to be adored by others especially by the man behind your back who is already wailing for his birth mother."

"Perhaps you are right Lucian. I should stop," he agreed.

But of course I do not like the way he accepted my side so easily like that. There would always be something sinister behind that submission.

Asahi let go of the lever beside him and used his right hand to maneuver the wheel. He then raised his elbow and let it land powerfully against the door that sent the said door flying away and hit another bug that got distracted and unfortunately crashed into another bug that caused the continuous cycle of hitting.

"Asahi-"

"Good luck with the police. Tell them that I was only trying out your toy," he told the man who already fainted on the seat. Asahi sat sideways and faced the newly found exit before leaping high, twirling in the air and spreading out leathery red wings that hoisted us up in the air and above all the tall structures.

"I am not pleased Asahi. Return my body before you damage anything else," I demanded him.

"Oh, this is new, Lucian being the mature one for once huh? I am impressed."

"Asahi, we should not be attracting attention. We must find-"

"I am aware Lucian. Let me just find a body to possess so that we can look together. How does that sound?"

"I thought you needed me to keep you sane? What happened to your plausible explanation that seemed to be your reason for possessing me, making the ancients believe that I have died causing 1000 thousand of Aishahs to sacrifice themselves for my sake leading to the utter lunacy of Queen Eliza for her husband's passing and apparently leading to the end of the world? You are very confusing Asahi. I doubt your honesty in your statements."

"I can never lie to you my sweet sweet Very Grand-Nephew. Do not worry, I am capable of keeping sane as long as you are near and as long as I am not triggered to commit murder."

Asahi was...childish, selfish, dishonest, manipulative, mysterious, confusing and spoiled. He can do whatever he wanted. I will not care. If he was already this malicious and blood-thirsty and he was still attached to me, what more if he was in a different body?

But then...If he was transferred to another body which did not have the capability of using neither life nor death powers, he would not be able to inflict harm to others. Yes, having him in me was like having a destructive Slade that would snap at any moment if stimulated. We were both in danger if he was inside of me. The only problem of him being in another body was him losing his mind in an unfortunate situation because there was nothing to suppress his seemingly dominant catastrophic side that surfaced every time a negative emotion was elicited.

He landed on top of the tallest structure in this place and his wings withdrew their presence. Without any warning, scorching pain erupted throughout my whole body as if inner explosions of fire were occurring under my muscle and skin.

My body ran cold and the pain knocked me out of balance that I laid shivering and panting from the torment.

"What's happening?" I managed to say out loud.

"I'm detaching my soul from your soul. I apologize, does it hurt?"

I have tried to bite down my tongue to hold a remark that I would like to carve on this man's scalp but then my attempt failed.

I did try to think of it. It was the thought that mattered.

"No Asahi, I am just laying here in severe bliss and amazement. You know how much pleasure I gain from pain. Please continue ripping our souls apart. It is painfully addicting," I deadpanned.

"Suit yourself..." he chuckled sadistically.

This man was...evil. Very evil.

The extreme burning pain was swiftly extinguished leaving me in exhaustion. The time that the pain was lifted was the moment that I was knocked out of consciousness. The next time I lifted my eyelids was the moment that my eyes perceived darkness that was being pierced by beams of colorful lights. I rubbed my face against a rough fabric that covered a seemingly hard chest.

"I hope you don't mind. I followed a suitable vessel towards this place and this happened to be a very attracting place to my eyes," I heard Asahi's voice from above. He started to pet my head and I have realized that I was sitting on his lap.

"Where are we?" I asked him and I squinted my eyes at the image of barely clothed men and women being pulled around with collars around their necks and a chain attached to it.

"I heard that this was a BDSM club. I am eager to learn more about it because it focuses on sadistic plays," he replied and licked my cheek which caused me to question the reason for my fate in being connected with this man.

I would be able to tolerate Slade's constant denial of care for hours than being played like this. I will not have Asahi manipulate me in his games. This emperor seemed to love games that was agonizing for others.

"What are your criteria of a suitable vessel?" I asked him. Did the vessel have to be as ruthless and loony as him? Did they have to have limb shredding claws and teeth-chomping bones?

Surely he had a good reason for possessing a man who was related to this place. I took a good look at Asahi's matured face that was almost the same as before but only older. He must have distorted the face of the man that he possessed into his own image.

I do hope it wasn't a creature of a powerful race.

"I was able to possess an Ifrit. I can now control fire instead of life and decay. I'm pretty satisfied with the results but I was hoping I can find a God to possess much like the God of Destruction along the way," He stated like he was telling me that he currently possessed a rabbit and not a vicious fire creature and that what he was looking for hang out anywhere near him for his convenience.

"Well it is sad that your luck ran out. I do hope it goes unavailable for awhile," I deadpanned.

"Mmm, I do not rely on luck Lucian for I always get what I want in my own way. Luck is not absolute. I am absolute," he murmured and growled out the last part. "And I am not fond with the hidden eyes around us..." he whispered. "Wait here as I eliminate the pests."

Asahi placed me down on the soft red cushions and I watched him in curiosity of what he meant by "eliminating the pests."

My eyes widened when the said man grabbed a metalized table, broke its leg and then threw it at a random man who was having a peaceful drink. The broken leg pierced through the back of the man and Asahi smirked in amusement when most of the people in this room had their teeth elongated as they hissed at him.

Asahi was troublesome.

Very troublesome.

I sneaked my way out of the heated scene and found a stairwell leading downstairs. The people here seemed oblivious to what was happening above and I seemed to be mistaken as a free submissive who was not already claimed by five men when a hand dropped to my bum.

"You seem to be unclaimed..." the man murmured.

"Seem? So you are not sure yet you dare put your hands on a very sensitive part of my body," I stated monotonously.

I looked up and glared at the man. "Get your hands off my tooshie," I deadpanned and kneed him at the groin.

All eyes were on us and the taller and bigger man on leather rose up after comforting his broken dreams. "You are disrespectful!" He growled and raised his hand to land it on me only to be whacked at the head by a shining and detached...ling ? The once furious man lost his
