As I look at this creature before our very eyes and as I try to ignore the flawless skin of my charge while noting the interesting changes on his body there was one thing clear in my mind that I never thought of saying in my whole existence:

"Jesus, take the wheel."

I have always thought that this was a ludicrous phrase used by sinners who did nothing but to mock the name of the son of God like what they always do no matter what heightening emotions they feel or no matter what uneventful events they were in. I was always angered or rather; I force myself to be aggravated by those who continue to make the name of the son of God a laughingstock

"What wheel my son: the wheel of fortune or the wheel of your car?" Samael blurted out his laughing response.

"The guy doesn't have his driving license so I vote of the latter," Caleb spoke.

He looked a bit dumfounded while we all stared at the monstrosity before us. But I suppose that this creature was not a monster in Lucian's eyes. I can tell by how he glanced at the creature with adoring eyes. It won't take a preschooler to figure this one out. I don't know what the others were thinking especially the three Alphas who had the best instincts among us all. It was obvious on who this creature was with all the parts of his body protruding to reveal what his parents were.

"Hey, who needs seatbelts when you have Jesus right?" Samael laughed.

At this point, if I didn't throw away my responsibilities in the holy temple as I grabbed the beacon of my true happiness and subsistence that existed in a small and innocent toddler, I could have been defending the name of the known "savior" of the world who will arrive in judgment day. But now I couldn't care less if his name was used for a hair salon.

"So I'm guessing that you're the one who picked his name?" Slade questioned in an annoyed manner.

That question was a no-brainer. Naming a terrifying beast "Kawaii Desu" was very Lucian.

"Yes, I named him that to bring fear to those who will see Kawaii Desu's striking appearance because he is the handsomest..." Lucian deadpanned and then rubbed his palm against the creature's rough skin.

"I don't know if he's being sarcastic or if he really is serious," Sevor sighed.

Caleb chuckled. "He's Lucian, if you know what he's thinking about then he wouldn't be Lucian."

The crowd cheered loudly and our conversation was cut when Slade rushed the initiation of the fight. This wasn't the normal cheers of an everyday crowd but in this realm, the sound of deafening shrieks, growls of feral beasts, and loud and thunderous claps of giants were an everyday encounter.

Slade charged ahead and Sevor was hesitant to follow his twin into his demise. Slade never underestimated or overestimated an opponent because even before making his brain function, he was already stampeding ahead without processing the consequences of not planning before battling.

"Shouldn't we stop the idiot? We still don't know the full capacity of Kawaii Desu's power," I told the other three who were just watching.

Actually, we had no idea on who our son was. We only knew his name and how he looked like but other than that we don't even know his favorite food or his hobby or his education. I believe it was too late for us to be a father to him. The years that he lived without us by his side and the years that he lived without knowing who we were made all of us strangers to one another and just living under the same roof would make things very uncomfortable. He already got used to having none of us and if we were to invade even further, I don't think he would appreciate that. He may have taken us here only because of Lucian. How can we enter a heart that had no space for us to fit in?

"That's what Slade is for," Caleb answered with a mischievous grin on his face.

Sevor let out a breath of irritation because he didn't agree with this plan at all. "To test the creature's power," he added Caleb's statement.

The beast stayed in place as he silently watched Slade storm towards him. His red eyes looked calculating and I observed as his muscles twitched and flexed. Twirling zephyrs started to visibly spin around the creature and my eyes darted to the slow cracking of the soil beneath him with the slight movement of his feet. Slade's arms mutated into the bulky and spiky arms of a dragon as he screamed his pride to a victory that was unsure but was already confirmed for him.

I had a bad feeling about this.

In one bat of my eyes the monster vanished and left no sound or trace of his existence. Slade even stopped his useless screams and I looked at Lucian who seemed apathetic to what was happening. Slade stopped running and was left in circling steps as he searched for the creature. He even looked at us but we were as clueless as he was.

"Shit..." Samael cursed. "That speed..."

I nodded at his realization. "He got it from you."

If he had inherited our powers then Luscev was composed of the elements of fire, ice, earth, water, light and dark. He was a mixture of a demon, an angel, dragons, werewolf and an ancient. He was a creature of destruction. I'll just hope that he didn't inherit Lucian's catastrophic side.

"He did but, he's even much faster than I can ever be. Damn, Lucian is the hottest hoe to ever live. That's my bae-"

My eyes widened when I heard one scream that came from Sevor and a crash. I wasn't even able to switch my attention to the scene that caused Sevor to shout when Samael disappeared from my sight like he was kidnapped and coated by ...nothing at all. I didn't even feel any wind. Usually when Samael ran, he carried the strong winds with him but I didn't even feel the calmest breeze from the creature's speed when it would usually carry a raging storm of zephyrs. I couldn't smell him. Can Caleb even track his scent?

The reaper was sent spiraling wall after wall after wall from where we came from. I flapped my wings down and flew above and saw that Slade was already in the same condition as Samael only; the younger dragon twin was with the audience. He was unconscious.

"He's too fast..." I muttered under my breath and tried to search for any trace of the creature. My heart sped up when my wings were harshly grabbed and I was tossed towards Caleb.

I quickly turned as I fell to see if I could spot him but he wasn't even in the air...well not anymore I assume. I crashed into the werewolf who didn't see my unexpected descent. I had a hunch that it was Sevor's turn to be targeted.

"He's too fast that the winds couldn't even keep up with him..." Caleb wheezed under me. "I can't even smell him."

I shakily stood from the ground and helped Caleb up. We found Sevor being beaten up in the air in an atrocious way. They weren't just punches...he was being...

"Sevor!" Caleb growled and rushed to aid our ally only to be slapped away.

The hairs on my nape and arms rose from such demonic display of violence. No offence but demons have always been violent. They possess innocent beings and destroy families for fun but of course if I said this out loud, I would be criticized and be told that angels were no different.

It was true that Luscev had a part of me but angels weren't creatures of barbarity so I couldn't possibly contribute to this...demonic, angelic, wolfy and dragonic, and nature made colossus.

Oh wait, I did contribute to this. Well then, there was no use in trying to play clean. I admit defeat.

The creature's claws gave Sevor's chest a souvenir of a deep and bloodied gash that ran along from the shoulder down to the waist. The older twin wasn't even able to move a muscle to defend himself.

He was being torn without a fight.

I was too shocked to move as Sevor was being sliced into an unrecognizable form.

How do I approach this matter? How do I even start to damage this creature when he was too fast for me to even inflict harm on him? I couldn't think of a solution to this.

Harsh winds blew past us and I thought it was Samael but when I darted my gaze to Lucian, his arm was raised towards Sevor and the winds unmasked the form of the beast.

"Do not use the winds to cheat Kawaii Desu..." he deadpanned. The ancient's eyes were cold as the creature glared back at him. My heart rate fastened when our opponent growled at his master and began to walk towards him.

Was he going to hurt Lucian? Was he out of his mind?!

The beast stopped slicing Sevor up and I took the chance to soar up above and then dive. My spear materialized in my hand and I hurled the weapon to the creature that immediately saw it. He stopped and looked away from the spear and raised his arm up. The spear reached its designated place but it didn't pierce through Kawaii Desu's arm.

In fact, the impact that my spear was supposed to cause was used against it as the tip was curled from the collision against his hardened skin.

"Lucian, he's going to hurt you!" I shouted at my charge in warning.

The ancient shook his head and waved at me. "Please help Sevor. I do not appreciate his sliced up form. I am bothered," he told me. Slade rose from the crowd and then leaped from one chair to another to continue what he started.

"Hey! Ede faecam (eat shit!)" the younger twin roared which thankfully caught our opponent's attention. I will not allow this creature to get close to Lucian so I might as well use the other idiots as baits.

And I do not mean to underestimate my charge but if Samael wasn't able to recover from that clash –and the reaper can recover from anything in a fast rate- then Lucian won't have a chance against this creature if he happened to turn against him.

But Lusceviel can't possibly do that can he? From what I observed so far, he treasured his father so much that he kept him protected. Can he not control this form?

Kawaii Desu, let Slade land hits that could even cause the four of us to have some cracked bones. I placed my hand on Sevor's body and heard his labored breathing. I let a heavy surge of power flow towards him. Sevor was practically bathing in his own blood from being incompletely chopped for barbecue. He appeared like he was dipped into a pool of blood from the coating of said bodily fluid. His injuries were so severe that even if he was dragon, it would take awhile before he can heal himself and even before that time comes, I don't think he'll be able to live to see his wounds closing up from self recuperation

"Hi-his...his strength...co-comes from us-" Sevor weakly spoke. Blood oozed out as he tried to talk and I silenced him.

"Don't talk. I don't want to experience the wrath of Lucian if you don't get better."

Caleb was up and was helping Slade take down our opponent but their strong attacks that could take down an army of allied nations didn't even make the creature budge.

Samael's voice erupted from the crashed walls and I had to breathe a sigh of relief. We need to plan on how to take down this...thing down. Goodness, that thing was produced because of us.

"Es Mundus Excrementi! (You pile of shit!)" Samael snarled. "I was still appreciating my bae's amazin' child-bearin' skills and you had to ruin it didn'tcha? Can't you see that my bae is livin' the hoe life?"

He limped his way down the crumbles of the wall while he muttered confusing things. There was a hole on his stomach that was gradually healing and the retired Satan of the Ancient era and the ex-reaper of the 21st century began to change into a full ebony color accompanied by his pointy arrow-like tail and leather like bat wings. His horns sprouted from his head and his hands elongated into deadly claw like features. A blaze washed over the empty space beside the reaper and his scythe appeared.

Luscev sneered at the reaper and pried Caleb and Slade away from him like they were nothing but flies. Samael launched himself towards Luscev and vanished from the speed he possessed and Luscev did the same. They fought in their own field which only they can enter. The sounds of metal clashing, the growls of Luscev and the curses and laughter of Samael made us know that the both of them were still alive.

A bright flash of red and blue luminosity sparked out of nowhere until both of them appeared and such luminosity widened in rage and became a loud and blistering explosion. I slammed my hand on the ground to form an icy barrier that could protect us from any debris and I hoped that its affect won't make the ice melt or shatter into pieces that could possibly kill us both. Gasps and yells of the audience occurred and I heard another fearsome growl from our opponent.

"I need to help," I told Sevor who appeared to be much better. Tiny sparkles of white glitters transformed my casual clothes into my white armor.

"Just move me to the side, my self-healing can take it from here..." he stated and I helped him lean against the wall. The arena's noise lessened with just murmurs in the air.

The battleground was covered in thick black smoke but it cleared immediately when Luscev rotated and let his form become a quick tornado that blew away the smog.

I let the ice melt and saw that a part of the arena where one fourth of the watchers were was already evacuated. Caleb and Slade were embracing Lucian but Caleb was the front liner. Did the explosion boost his gauge? If that happened, Caleb would explode in no time and that would lead into another damaging detonation.

If Caleb was a detonating machine then that would mean-

"Pidgey, I choose you!" I heard Samael shout from behind me and a powerful kick to my back made me fall forward.

"I'm going to burn you to crisp!" Slade announced.

"Slade, wait, don't give him energy!" I shouted at the man but he was far too thickheaded to even heed my words and Samael had the time to play Pokemon in the middle of a life and death encounter.

The younger twin inhaled air before releasing a blazing orange fire to Luscev who had no care from such attack.

"You know what? I'm too lazy to figure out how to defeat the kid. I'm too old for this shit," Samael laughed.

I turned to look at him. "What? You don't mean-"

"Let's make him go kaboom!" Samael told me. "Let's see how much Caleb can absorb."

This was an insane plan. They would just return each other's energy. From what I know and from what I can foresee, it would be an endless amount of eruption.

Samael appeared beside Caleb and told him the plan. The werewolf's face gave a wide grin and the reaper stole a kiss from the Ancient who still had an apathetic face to what was happening.

The reaper's body erupted with black fire and gushes of high pressurized black combustions sprouted around the battle area one by one. The fires bent and then lunged towards the steady form of Luscev.

He must be thinking how foolish we were for giving him power. I was not much for this plan until Sevor mustered all the strength he had gathered to stand and give his own breath of fire. Sevor had a calculating mind. He would take this risk even when knowing the consequences.

"Stupid idiots..." I gritted out and slammed my hands together and beams of light escaped between my palms.

I felt the warm energy on my hands as they pushed out more power that started to separate them from each other. I made my hands face Luscev and the heated beams of holy power latched on to him.

This explosion will hurt.

It will definitely hurt.

Luscev let out low growls and I was getting fidgety. Caleb prepared himself from the absorption and he stepped forward.

Rui got down to fetch Lucian and brought him to higher grounds in anticipation of what we were all expecting to happen.

The wail of Luscev and the bright yet fluctuating lines of electricity around him were the cues for Caleb to run closer to him and for Samael to form the barrier around the two of them.

The soundproof barrier blocked the noise of the inevitable explosion and I prepared to fly backwards and take Lucian in case the barrier couldn't hold the rupture of power.

And it definitely didn't.

The barrier shattered and before I could ascend, the impact already consumed me and I had to use layers of ice to protect myself. There were times that the ice shed immediately and the continuous blaze bit my skin.

Yep, it hurt.

Jesus, take the wheel.

I was already burned once physically during the fight with Samael in Keetan's town, I was burned for more than my fingers can count emotionally and now I was burned again by my own son.

My eyes have always seen the light that was never for me but now I was blinded by the actual light from an actual disastrous mess. I felt myself hit against something and with the last layer of ice that melted, I opened my eyes and breathed the agitated dusts.

At this point everything was a blur again.

That was just the first explosion.

Oh how I wished that Caleb already detonated at the same time that Luscev exploded.

But since everything was going down the hill, I will assume that this wasn't the last time I will burn alive.

"Raphael," I heard Lucian say from behind me which caused me to get a mini heart attack. "Domo," he deadpanned.

"Don't just...never mind," I sighed.

Murmurs and shouts of the audiences filled the deafening space. "Caleb hasn't detonated yet. We need to evacuate-"

"Rui is already on it," Lucian told me. "But I doubt that the people of Eli would want to miss the end of this."

Lucian raised his arm and controlled the zephyrs to clear the smoke.

Samael materialized beside Lucian, Slade was assisting his older brother at the far side across us and Caleb was kneeling down with bright active lines of yellow and red radiance on his naked torso. Luscev was standing strongly before the werewolf and as he was about to send the werewolf off to the other side with a strike, the werewolf launched himself towards him with an embrace.

Here we go again.

"Fuck shit! Well isn't this a Happy New Year special?" Samael announced with a smirk that didn't show that he was happy about this.

"Everyone leave the arena!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

Samael rebuilt the red and thick barrier around the two but it would seem that our team had the upper hand when it came to detonation. The reaper formed a shield that protected the watchers and he warped the three of us along with the twins out of the beaten up area and then teleported us at the rim of the arena where we stood along with the griffins. The explosion was much greater than the previous one. It consumed more space with its rupture and I pray that Caleb was still in one piece after that. The arena trembled and I honestly did not care for my third degree burns. I just wanted to end this already even if I obviously did not stand a chance against him.

"I don't even think he could have survived that," I spoke.

"I trust Caleb...but I also trust that Kawaii Desu is still breathing. Call it fatherly instinct," Lucian spoke in his monotone voice which caused me to apologize.

I shouldn't have said that. Luscev was Lucian's son...our son to be exact. Even if he was a bundle of explosion...and a shredding machine, I believe that we can still...get along. I hope.

"Please put me down," Lucian said.

"No way bae, look at the audiences; they are already smoochin' the wall because the explosion took 99% of the seats and turned them into dust!"

And I was sure that there were injured people there. We
