The concerned voices of my companions filled the area in which we have lived in for half a millennium. It was a lone island that can only be accessed if you were sucked into the vortex of the Bermuda Triangle or if you have a connection with the God of the Underworld.

It was, might I say, an interesting view to see the different objects that get vacuumed into the void. Metallic birds and boats suddenly protrude in the swirling watery part of the sky. Some of the people in them live but most of them were already dead by the time that they get here. I use their bodies as fertilizers for my healthy flowers. It was the least I can do to give them a peaceful and beautiful burial no matter how evil they were when they still possessed life.

I lived a haunted life when I realized that Wye Fye did not get a proper burial. She was the reason why I took charge in the entombment of the people who died because of getting sucked into the vortex. So if ever Wye Fye came back to life only to perish again, I'll tell her corpse that I cannot give consent for her sepulture for I have already paid my debts by being a volunteer for others' burial.

It was poignant to say that those who lived were not allowed to keep the memories that they have when they were still in the top land. The Prince's reasoning was that they might endanger the existence and sanctuary of this place that was specifically made for non-human races. I did try to reason out with the Prince that they won't have any other means of getting out therefore we didn't have to erase anything but my point was rejected no matter how sharp it was and no matter how accurate it was in popping the egos of creatures who have already left the ground because of their inflated heads.

The Prince of this Island strictly reined this place with tight rules that at first strangled the freedom of the people. But with some poking of my carrot every breakfast, lunch, and dinner; I had successfully managed to loosen up the Prince's stern way.

I had to do it. He had rules that were too ludicrous to hear, see, feel, taste, and smell. And most of the rules concerned my benefit and they didn't seem to be benefiting at all.

Rule number one: No one shall look at the king or even give him the slightest funny look.

"Why are you giving my Ayah that face huh? Remove that face in an instant!"

"Bu-but your highness, this has always been my face, it is impossible to-"

"I DON'T CARE!"

Rule number two: No one shall get near the King or even breathe the same air as he has within the five meter area that he walks on.

And thus, everyone who walked by me held their breaths as they greeted me respectfully.

"I heard you breathe!"

"Your highness, I had an attack of my asth-"

"Don't give me that bullshit! You're a werewolf! Werewolves don't have that kind of condition!"

It made me slightly wonder where he had gained such a brain which thought that way. But then I realized that I shouldn't even be confused if he was that way. He took over the personalities of his dimwitted, possessive and destructive fathers.

"Your Majesty, where are you?" Mao, a silver long-haired water sprite called out. She was one of my caretakers that were appointed by the Prince. I had many caretakers. Practically everyone in this humble land took cared of me but only a few were trusted by the Prince.

"Nephew, don't you pity Mao? She will get scolded again," My uncle told me. "And you shouldn't tire yourself too much. You just recovered from having a coma."

"You are right uncle, she will get scolded again. But I believe that it is part of life. Mao is a sweet and strong woman. I am sure that she will endure another scolding from him."

I heard my uncle sigh inside my head and I continued to hide inside the big barrel that was stored in an alleyway. The thick tail that sprouted at the level of my tail bone swished expectedly. My pointed and wide ears that replaced the ears at the side of my head twitched.

My body goes through transformations every month. Now, I was a fox with a ridiculous puffy tail. It all started when I was released from the sphere of life. Oniisan lent me half of his powers. Though mine was still intact, I was terribly weakened by the constant use of it and they were afraid that my power wouldn't regenerate anymore because nothing was leeching the energy from me. It was just like a lactating woman. Without the continuous breastfeeding, her milk will stop. At that time I couldn't even converse with the ancients inside my head because they too were weakened.

But it would seem that my body was just trying to adjust. When oniisan let me borrowed his energy, my body reacted abnormally and released a hefty amount of energy.

And now that I was no longer being drained by hateful catastrophes, my body was utilizing the surge of ancient power within me by making my body go through transformations every month. I believe that this was just a side-effect of using my powers for too long and also for suddenly receiving some energy from my brother.

I was used to being drained and so my body got trained to release large amounts of power to counterbalance the continuous flow of rot from the catastrophes. Then, I was ripped out from that environment so no continuous pull occurred. My body shut down and then it reactivated to release a soaring amount of energy to help my body recuperate when it was triggered by Lucius's own energy. Thus even when not needed and even with my knowledge of self control, I was uncontrollable.

I was a walking purification. It was because of this reason that the once dry and sandy island became a blooming, colorful and lively land. We call this land Eli.

When I get to meet my brother again, I will return the power that he had let me borrowed from him. If only I knew where he was...

It did not help that he went missing for three centuries. They extracted me from the core 500 years ago and they replaced my presence with an amethyst stone that had an adequate amount of ancient power that could temporarily replace me. I was unconscious for two centuries that it spooked the Prince and my brother. It was because of me that my brother made such risky decision. I was worried for his welfare up until now. It was hard to control my corrupted soul even when I had 1000 ancients within me. I do not know how my brother was enduring his decision.

"Adventure must have called your brother. He is a man who likes to travel," my uncle stated.

"And Argo was always his partner," I murmured.

The blue Pegasus wasn't able to survive the vortex that we have created that sealed the catastrophes with us. It was unfortunate. My oniisan really adored his Pegasus.

"Aren't you scared Uncle? My brother is missing...and so are the catastrophes that we have sealed. Doesn't that bother you?" I asked him. And didn't it bother him that oniisan gave me some souls of the ancients that he possessed?

I knew that my uncle was anxious. If he wasn't anxious then the uncle that I was talking to as of now wasn't my worrisome uncle at all.

"I am nephew but the reason why your brother sacrificed that much for you was because he wants you to enjoy life. Don't let his sacrifice be in vain," he lectured me. Why was it always my welfare that they worry about?

Trying to enjoy this chance was difficult especially when I don't know if Lucius was enjoying his life too. I do not want to be a freeloader.

When Mao's voice finally disappeared I sprinted out of the alleyway with my four paws and ran between the Royal Centaur Soldiers who were out to scout for the King.

"Your Majesty, please stop! Do not imperil your health!" the soldier called out to me. There were so many soldiers to evade this day. Rui outdid himself. Buck will be proud.

"Bratty Oniisan!" I heard Rui snarl from above.

I looked up and found a humanoid dragon ready to seize me but I was able to run under one carriage to another before finally entering the forest. I do not understand why the Prince was so strict with my freedom. It wasn't like I always disappeared without a trace. Did I give the other five some trouble because of my hobby?

I ran in greatest speed and then made an abrupt stop to lie on the mossy soil just beside a tall tree to use my ability to camouflage. I have learned such skill just recently. Rui landed firmly on the ground with his silver armor in place. His green hair was pushed up with the red bandana wrapped around his head. His suit made him even broader in body structure because even without one, he was much bulkier than Buck.

It was for this very reason that I call him the "Beefy Turtle."

"Ugh, why do I have to go through with this every day? Come out already Bratty-oniisan. You just got better!"

I got better two hundred years ago. Do they think that I was forever recuperating? I cannot stay cooped up in the castle. There was a long journey ahead. I must explore this island.

And then after exploring this island, I shall explore the world outside of this dimension while I search for them. Though I was a bit nervous about meeting them, I cannot wait to...hold them again.

I have always felt this...giddy feeling inside of me whenever I think of meeting them again. No, it was not my heat. My tooshie was behaved for the last six thousand years. I have trained it self-control.

"Onii-"

Rui's sentence was put to a stop when the sound of explosion occurred in what seemed to be the circular Stonehenge at the end of this forest. That Stonehenge was where new Supernatural beings arrive. To get out of this place, you must first consult the council and then if the council approves, they'll pass it on to the Prince. They'll be allowed to go out for a maximum of 2 weeks. If they do not return, they will be taken down by the spies assigned to watch over them.

"He's here uncle." I stated monotonously. It was the best tone I can achieve to show or to express excitement.

Though I was now good in feeling emotions and describing most of them, I still lacked the ability to express them in a way Buck showed them.

I made a detour towards the Stonehenge and made sure to be as swift and silent as possible. As I neared the area of my destination, my ears could catch the familiar noise made by the squabble of familiar men.

My heart started to pound harshly and I immediately hid behind a tree and watched with my very eyes the descent of their feet from the cracked and uneven cemented stairwell that went to the Stonehenge.

"Oh! Look nephew, they're-!"

"Shh uncle. They might hear you," I hushed.

My uncle made a questioning noise. "But I am just in your mind nephew. No one can hear me but you and the ancients with me who are residing in your mind."

My heart continued to riot inside my chest. I was not used to this kind of emotion. I felt like I was going to faint. My tail sneaked its way between my legs and I tried to ignore the teasing of my uncle inside of my head.

"Why are you hiding nephew? Go now! You have been waiting for them for so long! Do not waste this opportunity!"

"Shush uncle, shush! I am...I am..."

"You are?"

"I...I must prepare!"

"Prepare for what nephew? There's nothing to prepare!"

Was it too late to prepare for Wye Fye's funeral?

My body jumped in alarm when I heard Rui's footsteps. I lowered my stance and hid in the bushes and watched him greet the five with open arms. He first embraced the twins which so much glee followed by Caleb, Raphael and Samael. There was also a silver-haired man with them who bowed gracefully at Rui.

"Rui, you're alive!" Sevor exclaimed in joy as he landed strong pats on the younger dragon.

"Of course he is he's a dragon! And an ancient one at that," Slade added proudly.

"Is that the reason why you guys are nearing extinction?" Caleb insulted with a cocky grin that did not match the slow furrowing of his eyebrows like something was bothering him.

"Will you guys just stop chopping each other's throats for once?!" Raphael snapped.

"Sure, we'll just chop your legs. Anyone craving for a Sweet and Spicy chicken lollipop?" Samael cackled.

My body tensed when Luscev raised his hand to silence the five before speaking. "Where is Ayah? Don't tell me he got through your security again."

The Prince really had a strong instinct of things. He knew me well.

Slade snorted. "Ha! Amateurs."

I could say the same thing for them. Can they catch me this time?

My tooshie clenched when I saw Caleb starting to sniff the air. His yellow eyes gleamed and his predator gaze darted to my direction.

That was my cue to leave.

"And why are we leaving? Lucian, you should not be afraid. I am sure that they are all excited to meet you!" Uncle reprimanded. I turned to the other direction and placed my front paws forward. One of my feet was advanced further than the other and I readied myself to sprint. I pushed the ground with the soles of my feet and ran.

The shake of the bush alerted all of them of someone's presence but I couldn't care less if they have discovered me. Caleb's sense of smell was sharp and Luscev inherited that trait as well.

I controlled the winds to scatter my scent throughout the forest to confuse them. I must first prepare. I do not have an idea on what I should prepare but I should do it before I face them.

I took random directions and passed by a clean stream of water that had pointy rocks. It would seem that I would have some injuries on my paws later that the Prince will chide me for. I jumped over a fallen tree that fostered small animals and ran up small hill only to slide down and let my bum feel the smooth soil and grass against it. I caught the sight of a near cliff that had a broken bridge that already plummeted down a river and proceeded.

I leaped down the escarpment and let the winds carry me towards the other side. I looked to my left and right and pondered which way I should go. I have never been in this part of the forest before. Every dangerous place was restricted. Luscev perceived me to be an infant with no such strength to protect myself. It was like he was the father and not the other way around.

I decided to proceed forward and then looked for a pond or a lake to bathe on. I must need to smell nice and to look nice even though I already look nice and smell nice.

"Oh nephew, you don't have to. They won't love you less even if you look like a disaster from rolling all over the dust in town."

"I am not doing this for them uncle. I am just...trying to go back to my neat way of living," I pointed out.

I heard my uncle chuckle. "Ah yes, you have become a little piglet because of being restricted too much. That is your way of getting attention but it backfired. You are no match for your son's iron fist."

I smiled. "You know that is not true. I act the way I act because of one thing."

"For the citizens to look up to him am I right? But you don't have to act like a fool to achieve that. Luscev is a capable man."

I took a swift turn to the right and spotted a small lake in which the other end was surrounded by tall and pointy rocks that almost touched the skies. My running slowed and my knees fell at the edge of the lake. My reflection was seen on the clear waters and I perceived how younger I looked compared to before.

It must be the cause of the strong surge of energy.

"Do I look okay Uncle?" I asked.

"You look fine nephew. You look more than fine," he assured.

"I do not look like an egotistical big-headed pig-tailed woman?" I questioned once more to counter-check.

"No, you don't nephew. You are as beautiful as the days that they have fallen in love with you."

It was always nice to have uncle praise me like that. He spoiled me with sweet words but not to the extent of extreme spoilage just like what happened to a certain lovable woman in my life.

I hummed in satisfaction but immediately froze when I saw the face of a certain reaper above mine. He was bent over my kneeling position with a smirking and victorious expression on his face.

"Gotcha."
