"Oh, look who's finally arrived." You said as you saw Ryujin walk through the front door. "It's after midnight."

"I know what time it is, y/n. Thank you very much." She said as she rolled her eyes at you.

You clenched your jaw, feeling upset and frustrated with your girlfriend.

"Oh, now you know what time it is."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ryujin asked as she took off her jacket and hung it up on the rack.

"It means that we had a date this evening. A date that you completely forgot about. I assume you were busy or lost track of time."

"Yeah, that's exactly what happened, y/n." She said with a sigh as she brushed her fingers through her hair. "I had a hard enough day. Please don't be annoying tonight."

"Annoying? Ryujin, I'm just trying to talk to you. I was so excited and I waited for you to come. But you didn't. It hurt my feelings."

"Sorry." She said, simply shrugging her shoulders. "I'll make it up to you."

"When?"

"I don't know, y/n!" She said, raising her voice at you. "I'm going to bed. If you come up to bed soon, that's fine but you better not complain and get on my nerves."

She quietly grumbled the last part as she made her way to the staircase, only to freeze and jump when she heard your response.

"Shin Ryujin!"

The sound of her full name falling from your lips shocked her but, oh, you had her full attention one-hundred percent.

"Yes, my love?" She asked as she turned to face you.

Her mood was completely different now.

She wasn't afraid of you but she certainly had been surprised, snapping her out of that bad mood she was once in right away.

"Don't talk to me that way. I know you're tired and I know you have a lot going on right now. I'm trying to be supportive and understanding but I feel like I barely see you anymore so I was excited about our date. That's all."

"I know. I'm sorry." She sighed and walked to you. "I was so busy in the studio and I forgot to charge my phone last night so it died and then I just lost track of time. Our date just slipped from my brain. I'm so sorry. I will make this up to you, I promise."

"I believe you when you say you'll make it up to me. I'm sorry if I annoyed you."

"You didn't. I was just grumpy. I'm sorry. I'll take you out to dinner the day after tomorrow, I have a little time off then. I promise I won't forget about it or blow it off."

"Okay." You smiled before pecking her lips. "Love you so much."

"I love you more." She said as she pulled you in for a huge hug.

"I guess I'll have to start using your full name more often. It gets your attention."

"No, don't. It shocked me!" She giggled.

You laughed against her neck, kissing her skin ever so softly as she held you tighter.
