"You look beautiful," Evander awed me through the mirror. I observed him through it as he took his eyes away from the mirror to look at me intensely. "I love how amazing this dress looks on you," he added even though he saw me in it just yesterday.

I've seen Evander in a tuxedo countless times but seeing him in this one, knowing that we were sort of matching and he was going with me and we both wanted it. Everything was different.

Kira said that she invited everyone back home but William is in a bad mood and they need to help him run the pack. I completely understood what they meant since William can definitely be a lot.

"You should stop with the compliments," I advised him. It wasn't doing me good since I was a blushing mess and didn't want to be. "Impossible," he smiled against my cheek as he kissed me before walking out the room.

I sighed in relief, my heart finally getting time to pick up away from Evander. Today was pressuring me because we were every okay with making his pack known that we were very together.

Together.

That word makes me nervous. Why did this have to be so difficult?

There were whispers. So many whispers when we arrived. Evander took his Bentley to the venue. He said that he wanted to arrive in style even though I loved his van.

Evander and I sat in the front row of the beautifully decorated, wide hall. On my thigh were our hands that never left each other in the whole two hours even though I attempted several times.

The brush of his thumb over my knuckles threw me back into reality. And it was for the best part. "I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may kiss your mate and bride," The man said with a happy smile on his face. This whole wedding radiated happiness over the soon to be married mates.

Brandon wasted no time sliding his hand on her neck and pressing their lips together at the same time. At that action, the whole crowd erupted in complete cheers and shouts. They pulled away, Kira was a blushing mess and was hiding her face in his neck.

They're so adorably cute.

"Time to party!" Brandon cheered, gripping his mate tighter.

"Can we dance?" Evander asked. It's probably been an hour since the wedding was over and everyone who tried to meet Evander he simply told them that he was busy and they would leave us alone without another thought.

I didn't know what to think about that. But I guess part of me was a relief. I've noticed the staring and whispering thrown to me all evening.

Not that I was caring much anyway. I had Evander and we were having a good time.

I remembered the mind link conversation during the wedding.

"What's wrong?" He asked me. I wasn't surprised at all that he was mind linking me. "I don't want to take away the attention from their wedding. I shouldn't have come," I told him, not hiding the sadness in my voice. His claim on my hand tightened there. "You belong here and I wasn't gonna come without you. You're not going to take away the attention because I'm not going to allow it."

I guess that was my reason why he was avoiding all questions tonight.

There was a good side to this right? I had him all to myself.

"Sure," I excitedly answered, placing my hand in his as we walked to the dance floor that was already so crowded. The best part was that no one seemed to even notice us this time.

I held my breath as his hand slid around my lower back and the other one held my hand up with our elbows bent. My other hand was on his shoulder. Even the small movements of him bringing us closer made my heart accelerate. "Are you okay?" He asked. I hummed in response, not stopping myself from sliding my hand past his shoulder to his neck where I played with the hairs of the back of his head.

"That feels nice," he mumbled pushing us closer as we slowed dance so his chin was resting on my head. Once again I hummed in agreement. Silence fell upon us as we danced, we both just admiring the moment between us.

Dancing with Evander this time was different. My feelings were known and so was his, neither of us was holding back and the only barrier was that we were surrounded by his pack. "What are you gonna do when we go home?" He asked, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"What do you have in mind?" I asked.

He hummed," I could take this dress off," he suggested. My lower half pressed against his. "I'd like that," I breathlessly answered. The reaction he had on me already had wetness developing. "I bet you would," he whispered in my ear, his face coming closer to hover mine.

His body pressed on mine and even though both of us were fully clothed I felt his burning skin pressed to mine. "You're playing a dangerous game," Evander whispered, his lips hovering over my ear before I spun out of his arms only to crashed back in his chest. We grabbed onto each other and continued dancing. "It's a good thing I'm a good player then," I suggested with an innocent smile but he was seeing straight through it.

"Not if I have anything to do with it," he spoke, his hands dipping dangerously past my waist before sliding back up. "I bet on it," I winked before shifting my eyes away to see all the other people that were doing the exact same dance like us.

It felt nice to be part of something like this.

"I like when like this, free and normal, just the both of us," I happily stated. His eyes darkened as he leaned in again. "But it isn't though, we have hundreds of eyes upon us," Evander whispered in my ear, his lips brushing past my earlobe. He was teasing me and I had no idea if it was intentional or not.

As the song ended and the lights dimmed darker and darker, more people joined in and they all moved fast to the beat. Evander's hands gripped my hips as I pressed my body against his, my hand shaking up to the nape of his neck as we drifted in the sea of dancing werewolves. His lips fell on my shoulder as he left light kisses up my neck and to the shell of my ear. My neck rolled to give him better access and that was all because of the reaction he had on me. My body always wanted more and I would always give more to give in to that burning desperation and desire.

"Let's get out of here, Rieka, I want you to myself, and the things I want to do you won't like it if I do it in front of my entire pack," he seriously stated close to my ear and his deep voice was all I could hear.

My body shuddered but I nodded anyway. We both pulled away and I turned around, his dark eyes still visible through the dark atmosphere. "Let's get out of here," I muttered enough courage and bravery to say.

The corner of his lip was bitten as he looked at me and slowly it felt like the world was falling away. I just wanted to feel our lips pressed against each other but we both knew better than that.

"Let's go," our fingers laced as he pulled us out of the dancefloor, passing many people who were too busy to even care before we exited the building.
