Hello beautiful people! What a beautiful day it is to do some crazy things. So as you know, I'm in quarantine. And it's hella boring and I've got nothing else to do besides online schooling.

So to cut this short, I've teamed up with a friend of mine rphendren527 and we are doing a cameo/collab (whatever you want to call it.)

Rieka and Evander are going to collide with her werewolf world by visiting their pack. (You have to read this chapter to know why;) I'm not going to give out too many details but my characters will be appearing in her book The Mystic Wolf (chapters 37&38)

This is only for two chapters which are chapters 37 and 38 of Ruthless Deception as well. Everything would be explained as best as I can do that.

"Are you sure this is where they said to meet up?" Evander asked, staring at the mouth of the cave skeptically. Today, my father was going back home to his castle where he hasn't been for twenty years. Jessie said to meet him in this cafe not far from the pack and Evander insisted that he came along since we were on rogue land.

"Yes I'm sure," I assured him, grabbing his hand as we followed my father into the cave. As we walked in further the small cave, we were greeted by the wooden table and three chairs around it. "This isn't creepy," Evander whispered behind me and I chose to ignore him.

"Relax, just go watch out for Jess," I ordered him and he doesn't oblige. My father was about to sit down on the chair when I spoke up. "Hey, dad! Can we take a picture together?" I ask him, holding my phone in my hand. My father smiled widely," sure!"

I turn on the camera, the both of us smiling, looking happy as ever before I snapped the moment. "Thank you," I softly say, looking at how perfect and happy we look. I immediately sent the picture to my mother.

"Look who I ran into," I captioned the picture.

The sound of footsteps pulled me out of my thoughts and I immediately recognized the scent of Lexi and Jessie. Their eyes landed on Chansler first. I watched as Jessie's eyes shot up in disbelief with his body frozen at the spot.

"Dad, this is Jessie's girlfriend, Lexi," I introduced them. Chansler moved his eyes over to Lexi who held onto Jessie's hand tightly. "Hi, it's nice to finally meet you," she bravely eats and I couldn't stop smiling at the encounter.

Evander and I sat down on the chairs while they talked. My eyes even watered when Jessie hugged my father tightly. "Are you okay?" Evander asked his hand under my chin, forcing me to look at him.

"Yeah, of course. I just can't wait to talk to my mother," I scoffed at the mention of her. "So the doctors were telling me this morning how much they like you," he changed the topic, a smirk forming on his face.

"Of course, I'm very likable," I scoffed playfully. "Hm, most certainly you are," he almost whispered, sliding my hair off my shoulder.

"That's enough love birds, I just want to say that the rogues will no longer be a problem of yours," Jessie announced, taking an apple out of his pocket. "What?" I asked.

"Yeah, the rogues are planning their attack on the Blue Lilac pack of New York," Jessie says, leaning against the wall of the save. "New York?" I blurted out. I've always wanted to visit New York. I wasn't even known of that pack. "Yeah, the alpha is the mystic wolf," Jessie casually says, his attention more on the apple.

"As in a she-wolf?" Evander asked, his chin resting on his knuckles. "Yeah, is that a problem? Alphas can be girls, right?" I challenged Evander, narrowing my eyes to him. His eyes widened and he quickly nods," of course, yeah...that's not a problem," he said, trying to convince himself more than me.

They're going to attack another pack. What if the pack isn't strong enough? Those hundreds of wolves could lose their Alpha. Shit, what if she has a family. "We have to go to help," I blurted out, thinking of all the destruction those rogues can cause with those silver bullets. "What? Are you insane?" Evander's eyes darkened as he spoke.

"I'm serious, think about it!" I defended myself. Evander sighed, raking his hands through his hair. "You're not going, Rieka. It's too dangerous and it's too far away," Evander protested. "Are you thinking straight? We can form allies with them and they could use the help, Ev. What if they aren't strong enough? Rogues are ruthless, careless, and dangerous when they have those silver bullets. If they are going after the alpha that's bad. The whole pack could lose their alpha and what if she has a family, Ev? Imagine the pain she would inflict on her mate," I frown at the thought.

"I..." Evander sighed, not knowing exactly what to say and it frustrated me. "I don't even know if they know about it but some kid is involved," Jessie casually says, biting into the apple as he spoke. "What kid?" Evander pulled his attention to Jessie. He shrugged his shoulders," that's the whole reason for them going after the Blue Lilac pack, they want to kill the young mystic wolf that was born three or four years ago," Jessie explained.

"So you're trying to tell me that rogues are going after an innocent little child?" Evander concluded. "Yeah," Jessie shrugged again. "And that doesn't bother you!?" I shout at Jessie. How could he not care about a little child's life? Jessie shrugged his shoulders again, looking totally unphased.

"We're going," I bluntly tell Evander, standing to my feet. "No, I'm going. You have to take care of Everest," he stood after me. I huffed, folding my arms across my chest. "You're not going alone. They could use my help and Everest is stable. She can do without me for a couple of days," I obliged.

"Rieka," Evander warned.

"We're a team now, Evander! We do things together. You can't leave me in the dark and you can't put my capabilities at rest. I'm going whether you like it or not!" I almost shout with anger boiling inside me.

"Fine, we should be gone by the next hour," Evander sighed, lacing our fingers together and I turned to my father. "Do what you have to do, I'll be right here when you get back," my father promised. I gave him and Lexi a hug before leaving.

"Are you mad at me?" I hear Jessie shout.

"Yes!" I shout back at him.

"You okay?" Evander whispered, squeezing my thigh. My eyes widened and bolted to the rearview mirror. Brandon and Jessie were passed out cold. Thank the moon goddess.

When we got back to the pack earlier, Brandon and Jessie insisted that they come along and we left William in charge of the pack. Sure, it worried Evander but it gave him no choice. I was slightly sleepy but according to the GPS we were almost there. Who knows what would happen when we get there. The pack could already be attacked, the attack could happen in days, no one could tell until we got there.

"Yeah," I softly say, sliding my hand under his. There was something withholding Evander's hand. It just felt so perfect and right. Nothing felt wrong when he was hugging me or even holding my hand.

I turn my head to the window and allowed my eyes to blur at the passing trees on the narrow road. Suddenly, my body is jerked forward as the jeep stops driving. The loud thud that cracked the windshield had my eyes bulging. The wolf that was thrown shamelessly on the windshield whimpered and jumped off the bonnet.

"What the hell?" Evander's eyes wandered to the forest where there was growling.

Oh shit, We're late.

"What's happening?" Jayden asked, wiping the sleep out of his eyes. "Take the wheel and go drive to the pack," Evander ordered his beta, opening the door and walking off into the forest.

Obviously, I followed him. "Hey!" I shout at him. "Get inside," he growled out, throwing his arms at the pack borderline behind us.

"Evander! You can't control me!" I shout back, my hands balling at my sides. The look on Evander's face told me that he wanted nothing more than to go help them but he had to make sure I was okay first. Evander rolled his eyes, walking up to me and placing his hands at the sides of my head before kissing me with so much force, throwing all his emotions and thoughts into the kiss before pulling back.

"Please go, this looks bad and they are going to need you at the hospital," he whispered with a clenched jaw. I look into his eyes, seeing the depth of how badly he wanted me to go. I found myself nodding, walking back slowly into the pack borderline. "Go!" Evander shouts at me before pouncing into the fight.

I ran through the woods until I got the sight of buildings. Thankfully, I got there quickly using White's speed.

My feet were thumping against the floor, impatience was running out on me. I had no idea where was Jayden, he wasn't answering my mind link and I kept worrying about Evander.

I got the scent of silver as I ran and it only made me more nervous. I had no idea what to expect. If he got hurt. If anyone else gets hurt.

I feel helpless.

Evander's scent hit my nose and I rushed to my feet, bolting to where his scent was the strongest. Evander's eyes softened when he saw it was me and walked in my direction. "You're safe," I mumbled after scanning his body. There were no signs of blood. "Rieka, I ran through the forest and there were some rogues. They were going to hurt those kids, I couldn't just do anything about it. So I saved the kids and their mom and brought them here-" I cut him off.

"Evander, calm down," I softly say, placing my hands on his chest. He relaxed under my touch with a sigh leaving his lips. "Tell me where she is," I ordered, already realizing she was hurt.

Why did anyone get hurt in the first place?

Evander places the girl down on the bed. I frowned at her bleeding shoulder but acted fast, wheeling her bed into the hospital room.

Here we go again.

Thankfully, the room had the coat and gloves for me to throw on while I worked. It wasn't hard locating all of the equipment needed.

I needed to get the bullet out of her body as soon as possible. The longer way would be to take X-rays to find out exactly where the bullet was located but we're just gonna wing it.

The first thing I did was ripping her jersey apart so only her shoulder was exposed to me. Hopefully, she wasn't the kind of person that clothes were valuable to her because I would be in some deep shit when she wakes up.

I took the wipes to clean around the area to see the two bullet holes on her shoulder. Just great. I winced for her as I drove the tweezer into her shoulder, slowly and moving exactly where her tissues took me.

A sigh left my lips when I grasped onto the bullet, forcefully taking the bullet out of her body and onto the metal plate. Just like the first one, the bullet didn't get too far into her system, nearly grazing her bone.

A squeal left my lips and I dropped everything, backing up into the wall when the fire appeared on her chest, spreading to her arms and down her stomach and legs.

She didn't even flinch, she still was knocked out cold as her body was in a mixture of blue fire, not even burning her clothes.

What the bloody hell?
