The officers stood in front of the two, watching them intently as they both stared at the ground, it was getting late now, no sign of John B and no talk out of either of them.

Aria had been confused on why Topper decided to help them, after all John B did sorta steal his girlfriend.

"Look, kids. We just wanna know where the hell that kid is." Plumb deadpanned, leaning back against the cop car behind him.

Topper lifted his head, glancing at Aria before speaking, "For the seventh time, I don't know!"

"Topper, easy. We don't know what happened in there. When we got there he was already gone, wiped out. No sign of him." Aria shot back, in an attempt to cut Toppers attitude off.

Shoupe walked over to them, a stern look on his face as he stopped near them, "Did they were talk?"

"We tried. They don't know anything, It's the same thing over and over again." Thomas cut in, adjusting them small pouch on his pockets.

"I'm sorry, Shoupe." Aria frowned, the way her lips turned down could make anyone gullible into thinking something was actually wrong.

"Just go, please. But any sign of him just call." He bleated before he turned around, the two other officers following him as they went to the church.

Once they were alone Aria opened her mouth, "Thank you, Topper. You didn't have to do that. I mean it too."

He smiled gently, "I love her and he makes her happy. I wanna see her happy."

Her heart burned, Topper was an asshole, the entire island had known that but she couldn't help but feel bad from him.

He was taken by surprise when she wrapped her small arms around him, releasing a breathe of air as he hugged her back, slowly swaying the two as tears burned his brown eyes.

She pulled away, reaching her arm up to run his shoulder, "It's gonna be okay, Top. You'll find someone and they will love you like there is no tomorrow. I promise you."

The nerves of everyone could be felt in the air, Aria let her forehead rest on the table as tiredness overwhelmed her body, JJ stood diagonal from her, staring as her body lifted every time she breathed in and out.

"You know, we were in that car. They're probably looking for us, too." He said suddenly, breaking the awkward tension that was clearly there.

She lifted her head from the table, pushing the low ponytail so it would drift down her back, "Well, if we're gonna be outlaws, we might as well help John B."

"I'm gonna get gas for the boat." Pope spoke up, stepping around the table as he held the door open.

Kiara and Pope haven't spoken since their "argument" more like Kie's extremely harsh rejection towards him, him still being upset about but who wouldn't blame him.

"Hey, you be careful." Kie told him, his eyes flickered to hers for a second before glancing back to JJ who furrowed his brows at the two.

"Meet me at the dock at three. Don't be late." He spoke directly to JJ, ignoring Kiara's presence as he closed the door.

The Pogue ran after him, swinging open the door as she chased him down the steps, JJ and Aria stood up as well, leaning over the balcony as they watched her pause at his motorcycle.

"Okay, what is your problem?" She choked, narrowing her eyes at the Heyward boy.

He placed his legs over the seat, sitting down as he grasped the helmet in his hands, "No problem, Officer. I'm just doing my job."

She groaned, "Look, I'm sorry that I hurt your feelings."

The loud motorcycle engine roared through the air as he revved it, "What was that?"

Surprisingly she bit her tongue, swallowing her pride as she wanted to throw him off the bike, "Look, I didn't mean to."

Another loud rev off the engine cut her off, at the point he was just being really fucking petty, "Sorry, I can't hear you. What was that?"

"Pope, I'm being serious..." She tried but he just ignored her, blaring the engine loudly, "I'm trying to talk to you!"

Instead of facing his rejection he choose not to, blowing her off as he zoomed away, letting his emotions get the best of him.

Another noise boomed through the air, not a motorcycle this time, a helicopter. The three pulled their eyes brows together as they watched it fly over them, helicopters in the Outer Banks was an unusual thing. John B really had it coming for him and the friends wanted nothing more but to help him out of it.

Aria's phone rang in her pocket, her stepping away from JJ as Sarah's incoming call lit up her face, she slid the call towards accept, "Hello?"

"Hey. I need your help, I can't say it over the phone, meet me at the docks, now." Sarah sounded rushed, her breathe uneasy as she explained it quickly.

"Okay, I'm leaving now." Aria stammered, sliding the phone in her dark colored hack pockets, she stepped down the small stairs, turning back to look at the two, "It's Sarah, she needs me."

"Is it John B? Please tell me he's okay." Kiara hesitated, fear laced in her tone as she looked at the girl direct from her.

She nodded quickly, "He's fine. I'll meet you guys later, stay safe."
