Casey's POV

Austin and I walk into the hospital and head straight to the ultrasound area. When we get closer to the desk I see Austin pause for a moment as he looks at the woman that just walked out of the toilets with a pregnant woman. "Austin," I touch his arm gently. "I'm going to check in. I'll be right back, babe."

"Okay," he kisses the side of my mouth. "I'll be with you in a moment." He doesn't take his eyes off the woman and it makes my blood boil that he's not looking at me like that.

Pushing my bag higher up on my shoulder I stalk towards the counter and slam my bag onto the desk, making the nurse jump.

She looks up from the computer and says. "Hi, how are you? Can I get your name?"

Placing a smile on my face I say. "I'm good. Also, the name is Casey Jackson. I have an appointment with Doctor Shepard at 12:30 pm."

The nurse types some stuff on the computer and then looks back up at me. "Take a seat and wait for your name to get called. It shouldn't take much longer."

"Thanks," I start moving across the waiting room looking for Austin and I don't see him in the room with me. Turning towards the door we walked through I see him talking to the woman he staring at earlier.

He knows that bitch. I'll have to show her whose name she is.

Walking through the doors I hear the end part of the conversation. "Austin, I don't want a fucking apology from you. The words you have to say will be wasted words and I don't want to hear it. The only thing I hope is that I don't run into you in this city."

Wow, she's got some balls on her to say this about my man.

A scowl forms on my face as I stop next to Austin, "What the fuck, Austin? What's this bitch doing here?" When I take a closer look at her I realise that's it's Austin's High School sweetheart and reunion fuck.

She's prettier in person.

No one should know I thought that about the woman that Austin used a couple of months back.

Eliza snorts. "I'd rather be a bitch than a whore, who lies on her back with her legs spread open for anyone who wants to penetrate her."

She doesn't know anything about me and her calling me a whore is disgusting. I love having sex, but I don't open my legs for just any-fucking-one. I fuck who I'm with for a couple of hours. Is that so bad?

Eliza's attention turns back to Austin and she says. "Thank you, Austin."

"What are you thanking me for, Eliza?"

"Making me realise that life is much better without being with someone who uses you. Now, I get to be with someone that's going to love me for the person I am and not for who I used to be. Used to represent. I'm your past, Austin. I'll never be the future for you. Enjoy your life." She grabs her sister's hand and pulls her away.

"Austin?"

He turns towards me and says. "I need to talk to her, still. I'm not ready for her to leave me again."

"No, please don't do this, Austin. Just leave her alone. We're here for our child and not for your old fling. Don't be too long, cause the Doctor won't be too happy if we're not here when my name gets called."

He kisses me before dashing down the hall, looking for Eliza.

Opening the door to the waiting room I enter it and look for a seat. I sit down and grab a pregnancy magazine off the table and start flipping through it.

"Casey Jackson," standing up I move toward the door and slide it open. I walk down the hall looking for Austin. "Austin, the doctor is waiting for us." crossing my arms I look at him. Waiting for him to do something. When he doesn't react to me, I yell. "Austin, you're here for me. Not for that fucking girl. You left her for me and now it's like you're choosing her over me."

Austin shakes his head, trying to clear it. "Sorry, Casey." He holds his hand out to me and I take it. "Let's go and find out how our child is."

Before Austin and I leave, Eliz speaks up. "You belong with Casey, Austin. Don't look for me. Don't get in touch with me. If you do I'll do everything in my power to make sure that you won't be able to come near me again. The life you chose is the one you're getting. There's no way for you to turn back time." She grabs the guy's hand and they walk out of the hospital, leaving Austin and me alone.

Looking at Austin I say. "Austin, let's go to our appointment." We walk into the waiting and the doctor isn't there anymore. "Austin," I yell. "It's your fault the Doctor's not here anymore. Now, we have to wait longer." I spend the entire time bitching him out until the doctor calls my name again.

Austin stands up and holds his hand out to me. "Let's find out how our child is?"

Ignoring his hand, I look into his eyes and say the words I never thought I would to the father of my child. "Austin. I don't want you to come in with me. I gave you a chance to do that, but you wanted to stalk that bitch." I follow the doctor down the hall and disappears from his view.

Letting out a deep breath I enter the room and sit on the bed. Pulling my shirt up I wait for the doctor to put the gel on my belly. My hands begin to shake as I wait to see what my child on the screen.

Once the gel is applied to my belly the doctor uses the wand to find my child. "You're son looks perfectly healthy. There are ten fingers and ten toes." She continues to move the wand around. When she's done she says. "I'll get some pictures for you." she walks out of the room and returns a couple of minutes.

I wipe the gel off my belly and take the photo from her. "Thanks," I walk out the door of the ultrasound room and see Austin sitting on the chair. A smile spreads across my face. "Here's a picture of our baby. You should put it in a frame and put it on your desk in the office. Everyone should see the child you created with me." I wrap my arms around him and kiss him. "Take me home, Austin. I need to have a rest."

Lifting me, he carries me to the car and places me in the front seat. He puts my seatbelt on before closing the door and rounding the car to his side. He climbs into the driver's seat and puts on his seatbelt. Starting the car we pull out of the parking lot and head in the direction of home.

Placing my hand on his I say. "Sorry, I didn't include you in the ultrasound." Austin doesn't say anything as he drives us home, but from the look on his face, I can see that he's not happy with me.
