Author's POV: 

"Simping over your boss, huh?" You heard a voice as you looked behind to see Jin standing there. You sighed saying, "Oppa! I was startled."
"You look too calm for that." He said as you giggled saying, "He is handsome though." Jin chuckled saying, "You like him, don't you?" 
"What? I mean... is it that obvious?" You asked as he smiled saying, "Of course. He keeps glancing at you when he should be glancing at the award. He seems to like you more than the award in his hand." 
"Oppa!" You said feeling shy as he patted your head saying, "Aigo... my baby is all grown up~" 
"Baby who?" You asked as he replied, "You~" 

"Mina said she's coming over to your house." Jin said as you frowned asking, "Why are you telling me that? Did she tell you?"
"Well, yes. Because you weren't picking up her phone yesterday." Jin said as you gulped looking down saying, "I think I didn't notice..."
"You did a great job. You stayed at work for long hours, didn't you?" He asked as you nodded smiling. He smiled saying, "It might take some time for Taehyung to truly behave well with you but... don't miss the chance." 
"Oppa... that's not important right now!" You said as he giggled nodding. 

Taehyung came down the stage and looked at Jin confused asking, "Hyung? What are you doing here?"
"Yah you brat! Why should I not be here?! After all the mess I had to go through because of you... I deserve to see you getting awards!" Jin said as Taehyung chuckled hugging him and saying, "Mhm! Thank you!" You smiled at them as Jin said, "You both... aren't we getting a treat?"
"What treat?"
"Treat what?" 

You both asked opposite questions as Jin sighed saying, "What a mess.. Aren't you having a team dinner?"
"Right.. today! We are, join us! Ask Mina too." You said as Taehyung looked at you before looking at Jin.
"Alright then! I'll drop you both off." Jin said as you nodded about to walk towards him but Taehyung said, "Hyung. Actually... I need to go to work with Y/N. It's urgent... so like- can you just drop us at night?" Jin eyed Taehyung suspiciously before saying, "Fine then. See you." 
You looked at them confused and said, "Mr Kim, why are we working today?" 

"Well... it's not really about work.. uhh, so like... uhm." He gulped as you looked at him saying, "You want to have lunch together?" He looked at you confused and then coughed awkwardly making you chuckle.

"Are you treating me? Then I'm in!" You said as he said, "Aren't you being too bold..?" 
"What did I do?" You asked pretending to be dumb as he smiled a little saying, "Ah.. I'll see you one day. Follow me for now." You smiled following him to the car.
"Does my respective secretary still not know how to drive?" He asked as you replied, "Yes, she doesn't." He sighed nodding and got in the car driving as you sat on the passenger's seat. 
"Yah Do Y/N." He spoke while driving as you looked at him confused. He looked at you for a second before looking away saying, "So... how long do we know each other?"

"I think it's been almost 3 months I've been working with you." You said as he nodded driving with a small smile mumbling, "Better be 3 years soon.." 
"I can hear him.." You whispered to yourself looking down feeling a blush creep up to your cheeks. 

---At a restaurant 

"Yummy!" You said giggling as he sighed saying, "Why are you so noisy every time we enter restaurants?! Do you like food that much?" 
"Well, who doesn't like food?" You asked as he sighed nodding. Even he couldn't resist food, what could he say?
"Mr Kim, once I complete 6 months of working here, can I ask for something from you?" You asked as he looked at you confused asking, "What?"
"Well... I'll tell that to you later." You said smiling as he nodded a little confused. 

---Time skip

"Thank you for dropping me off." You said as he nodded saying, "Be ready. I'll pick you up for the dinner."
"But... I can just go with Jin Oppa. He lives nearby." You said as Taehyung thinned his lips saying, "Shut up and just listen to me once, will you?"
"Okay... but I could've just gone with-" You were talking but got cut off by Taehyung glaring at you. You bowed and walked towards your house but stopped in your tracks turning around as you spoke, "Go home safely, Mr Kim." He looked at you confused before looking away saying, "Yeah.." He coughed awkwardly quickly starting the engine of the car. 

"Why did she... ah! Is she my wife or girlfriend..?" Taehyung asked himself trying his best to control the shy smile on his face.
"Ah... I've been so tough with her all this while, why am I suddenly reacting?" Taehyung asked himself sighing. Suddenly, he remembered the line he once heard while watching a YouTube video.

'If you act tough and hide your feelings for a long time, you're more likely to have a burst of emotions later on and can tend to be more reactive to the slightest things. That's how strong feelings can be.' 

"No way... it's just a tiny miny little tittle crush." Taehyung said smiling as he drove away knowing well it wasn't a tiny miny little tittle crush he supposed it to be. 

---At night 

"Cheers!" Everyone cheered as Taehyung looked at you gulping. You were wearing a different colour of eyeshadow today. Every day you'd wear a normal light brown eyeshadow and lip balm but today, since it was a very happy team dinner, Mina did your makeup as Taehyung picked you, Mina and Jin. Though it was supposed to be just you, the plan failed... miserably. 
"Why did she wear something like that? She'll be the death of me someday." Taehyung mumbled seeing you looking so hot in that dress. He couldn't resist looking at you at all. Normally, he'd stare at you covering it with a judgemental look every time you noticed him but this time, he wasn't sure if he could pull that trick again.

The dinner passed by smoothly, and soon everyone was getting out of the restaurant. Suddenly, Jungkook spoke, "Ms Y/N, you look so pretty." You giggled thanking him and said, "Mina selected my outfit."
"So pretty. Ah! You should've been a model." Ms Lee spoke as you looked at them a little embarrassed. Soon, Taehyung came and stood beside you saying, "Professionalism?!" You sighed shaking your head as the others apologized leaving.
"Yah, why did you wear this?" He asked as you looked at him confused asking, "Why?" 

"You should know what to wear! Ah! Can't you see the men staring at you?!" He asked as you frowned at him.

"Mr Kim, I don't have to care about the men staring at me." You said as he sighed saying, "But I do." 
"Huh?" You asked as he said, "Yah, go get in the car. I'll drop you off."
"Why would you?" You asked as he replied, "I'm dropping Jin and your friend off as well. Just get in." You nodded before getting in as he sighed looking at your back saying, "Is she straight dumb or what?! Oh my! I'm so annoyed right now." 

---In the car

"I'll drive," Jin spoke as Taehyung nodded. 
"I'll sit in the backseat." Taehyung said getting in quickly as Mina frowned asking, "What's wrong with him?"
"Everything is." Jin said sighing as you sat beside him saying, "You're strange, Mr Kim."
"Whatever. Just sit there!" He said as you chuckled shaking your head and looking outside knowing well what he was trying to do. Soon, some time passed by and you felt very sleepy. After waking up for the award ceremony and having lunch with him, you didn't get enough time to rest and you had to get ready for dinner again. 
"Are you sleepy?" Taehyung asked as you replied, "A lot.." You yawned as Taehyung sighed saying, "Put your head on my shoulder then." 

"Huh?" You asked as he replied, "Just do it. I did the same didn't I?" 
"B-But.." You were talking as he sighed holding your head as he put it on his shoulder letting you rest. A small smile appeared on your lips as you mumbled, "You better take responsibility for this mess."
"I will, whatever," Taehyung mumbled as you smiled feeling your eyes getting heavier with time and you didn't even realize when you fell asleep. Taehyung, who was staring outside noticed you sleeping. He sighed seeing your short skirt.
"Is she not cold?" He whispered to himself glancing at jin who was busy driving and Mina who was sleeping. He distanced your head from his shoulder as you were sleeping. Taking off his coat, he placed it on your thighs covering them and placed your head back on his shoulder. A small smile appeared on his lips staring at his secretary. 

"What if I didn't hire you that day?" He asked himself looking at you, his eyes full of love. Without realizing it, in between the bickering and fights, he ended up falling for you real hard. So hard that he couldn't get up anymore nor did he want to. He tucked your loose hair strands behind your ears to get a closer look at your face. His heart was beating very loudly feeling you so close to him. Jin, who was driving, glanced at you both through the mirror as a smile appeared on his face. 
"I think I fell for you.." He mumbled staring at your face with a smile not knowing you heard him. 

---3 months later 

Spring came after winter... it was another usual day at work as you and Taehyung were doing your business sitting at your own desks. You looked at the time, 2:35 pm. Getting up, you walked towards Taehyung saying, "Mr Kim. Let's go eat." He looked at the time saying, "Yah! It's so late! Why did you... ah!" You giggled saying, "You were engrossed in work." He sighed saying, "Let's go then." You looked at him leave the room as you followed him. 

Even though 3 months passed by, you and Taehyung were just the same. Just, the bond between you two strengthened with time. Taehyung was also nicer to you though he did scold you at times. You were also better to him, leaving out the mischievous moments you intentionally put salt in his coffee after arguing with him. Once in a while, you both even argued to the point you didn't talk properly for days. Yet, you weren't a couple. The new people would always misunderstand you both as couples though it wasn't the truth. 

Taehyung, who already had strong feelings for you was waiting for the right time to confess while you just enjoyed his company. Having each other by your sides... it was a blissful period of time which passed by waiting to be arrived by a new wave of happiness. 

As you both were eating, you looked at Taehyung asking, "Mr Kim. It's been 6 months now, right? That I've been working for you." He nodded as you said, "Then will you grant me a wish?" He frowned saying, "What wish?"
"Will you watch a movie with me tomorrow?"
