Author POV:

Brick and Blossom kept walking, silence that is. It felt awkward between them every second especially the fact Blossom realize Brick kept trying to get a glimpse of her every chance he could get. "Brick?" Blossom turn her head to look at him, her Bubbles gum pink eyes meeting his red ruby ones.

"Hm?"

"Do you believe in true love?" She asked him. Brick was surprised by her question and didn't know how to answer to that question. "Uhh..I don't know exactly. I never been love before so I wouldn't know" Brick answered her as he still kept walking with her.

"You never have?" Blossom question. "Nope" He said giving a face he didn't care but deep down he did. It would be nice to be love for a day at least.

Soon it turn silent again, and everything became awkward. Blossom looked the side of her , but kept biting her lower lips from saying anything she might regret. Brick notice a few minutes later which made his face have a pink tint of blush by her cute face and how she kept biting her plump lips.

Blossom grabbed Brick's muscular arm and stopped him from walking. "What the- Blossom What is it?" Brick asked confused by her sudden action. Blossoms eyes were covered by her bangs as she hang her head low from her face heating up too fast.

She brushed off her hair with her left hand and look to the side. She bit her lip for a second and then she spoke.

"I want to go on a date with you"

Bricks face turn red and he backed away from her as she still kept her hands on his arms. He was speechless, he couldn't find any right words to say something.

"No, I ..I just ..No Blossom"

Blossom frown but she didn't give up yet, she knew it was weird and crazy of her to ask her childhood enemy on a date but she wanted to make him at least a bit happy.

"Come on Brick" Blossom said getting closer to him. Brick started getting nervous and kept backing away every step she took towards to him. "Stop.. No, I can't go on a date with you"

"Why?"

"Because I just.. I just Uhh.. I don't have feelings for you"

Blossom felt like her heart got a needle into it. It bother her a bit by his words he used on her. But she ignored it and forgot all about it.

"It's a date, I'm not asking you to be my boyfriend or anything. We're just hanging out for the day" Blossom told him as she took her hands off him and put it on her hips. Brick kept looking at her thinking about what she just said, she was right which made him hate it.

"I'll go on a date with you" Brick finally agreed with her which made her kinda hype because that means they can get ice cream. "Great, now lets get some ice cream or frozen Yogurt" She said grabbing on to his hand and running down the halls to find the exit room. Brick looked at their hands that were grabbing on to each other which made him squeeze it tight.

Blossom notice her hand being squeezed which made her wondered why would Brick squeeze her hand. She ignore it and kept running down the halls still soon flying out with him, letting each other hands go which made Brick kinda bum. "Come on lets go" Blossom told him.

Pink and red streaks were seen up on the sky, both smiling and laughing. Maybe it wasn't going to be bad.

---//Ice Cream Shop//---

Author POV:

"One Strawberry Ice cream and One Vanilla" Brick said to the man in front of him. The man pulled out two ice creams on a cone and handed it to them. Both said thank you and left off walking to the park.

"Isn't this nice?" Blossom said walking next to him licking her ice cream. Brick hum in response. "I'm glad we can hang out one day just chilling and don't have to fight, right?"

Brick stared at her for 4 seconds til he agreed to her. "Yeah your right" Both kept walking together admiring the things and talking until somebody bumped into Blossom making her drop her Ice cream on the ground.

She turn around to see who was the guy who made her drop her delicious treat but when she did her cheeks turn to a light pink color. "I'm sorry Darling, I didn't see you there" A boy with blue eyes and brown hair with a pearly white smile apologized to her for his mistakes.

"I..Uhh um it's fine" Blossom told him, Brick realize her reaction towards the guy which made him pissed off easily. The guy grabbed blossom's hand and kissed it gently giving her a wink. Brick got ticked off and slap his hand away from hers. He grabbed on to her hand and squeeze it tight.

"Hm.. Jealous Boyfriend?"

Blossom's cheeks turn into a bright red and she looked away. She didn't want to say anything. She didn't even know how to respond to that question she should just let him do it.

"Don't touch her" Brick warned him. The guy raised his eyebrows and back away saying goodbye with a sly smile. "Ugh, such an annoying asshole" Brick whispered pissed off.

"Why did you do that?" Blossom question him. Brick finally look at her "uh.. because he was being rude" He said as he shrugged his shoulders "How?" It went silent. Brick didn't know how to respond to that question. "There was just something about him I didn't like that's all" Blossom nodded her head understanding. As they kept walking blossom felt a bit down.

"What's wrong pinky?"

"It's just.. "

"Just what?"

"I'm upset that My ice cream fell and it was a very good one too!" She pouted her lips and let go off his hand. He let out a chuckle and handed her his ice cream "Here" Blossom looked at the ice cream then back at him "Huh?" She said confused. "Don't you want ice cream?" Blossom smiled and nodded her head. As she grabbed the cone her hands brushed against his. Making his heart beat in strange rhythm.

"Thanks brick" Blossom said with a sweet smile.

Brick grabbed Blossom's hand and intertwined their fingers together making Blossom shock. Brick didn't say anything, but just kept walking with her. As they kept walking Blossom was soon done with her Ice cream. She was about to throw the paper away but stopped midway.

"Woah.."

Blossom found a cherry blossom tree a few step away which made her really excited. She cleaned her hands and grabbed on to Brick's black Nike hoodie "Come on Brick!"

"What is it pinky?"

"It's a Blossom tree I want you to take a photo of me with it" She begged. Brick chuckle nodding his head in agreeing and both walked over to it. Blossom handed Brick her phone and told him to take three photos of her.

Until a girl come along.

"Hey, Do you want me to take a photo of you guys?" She requested. Blossom and Brick didn't say anything. "Come on don't be shy. Go stand next to your girlfriend" The girl pushed Brick next to Blossom and told them to get ready for the picture. The girl saw how horrible and awkward the photos look like of them so She told them to pose. She made Brick put his arms around Blossom's waist and made her rest her head on his chest.

"Don't just look at the camera ! Look at each other too!" The girl yelled out.

Blossom slowly look up at Brick meeting his Red ruby eyes. "How long are we supposed to be looking at each other ?" Blossom whispered to him. "I don't know..but I kinda like it" he admitted staring at her eyes then lips. They were so close they could feel each other breathing on their lips. "Blossom, remember how you told me if I believed in love?" Brick asked her, Blossom gulped down. "Y-yeah"

"Well.. I don't know what exactly is this feeling but I think it is love.. I think I found it"

Blossom smiled "I'm glad you did"

"I.. what happened if I told you, you were the one I love" It went silent between them, not realizing the girl was listening to all the conversation.

Blossom got closer to his face and put her palm on his cheek. She looked at his eyes then lips.

"Then.."

"I would tell you that your the one I love too"

Blossom whispered as she closed the gap between them and gently placed her lips onto his. Brick closed his eyes slowly and pulled her more close to him by her waist.

"Okay then, I love you Blossom"
