Darcy and I attended Uni and went out for food after like the day before.

Right now though, I was currently standing at the register at work.

"That'll be $6.87." I say with a smile, wishing my 6 hour shift was over already. It's been 3 hours since my shift started. 3 hours of standing behind a till, plastering a fake smile across my face and talking to prissy customers.

"Coffee here is so overpriced." The man sneers, dropping the change onto the counter and ripping the freshly made coffee from my hand.

"I don't make the prices Sir." I sigh, still smiling. My face was starting to hurt from being this fake.

"Yeah whatever." He replies, storming out of the cafe.

I'm wiping down the counter when I hear the bell sound for the front door. In walks Alex and two blokes I don't know. I blush slightly, I've only met Alex yesterday, but whenever I'm near him I seem to get really nervous.

"H-hey Alex, what can I get you?" I ask as he looks up from his phone.

"Oh hey (Y/n), I didn't know you worked here?" He asks with a surprised look. I nod in reply and smile.

"So what can I get you lads?"

"Three teas thanks, two with no sugar and one with two sugars." He replies instantly, I nod and type it into the register. I start making the tea when I hear one of the lads laugh,

"You didn't tell me your roommate was this good looking." The one with a beard and brownish black hair says.

"Shut it, she's George's cousin. I don't think of her like that." Alex replies, I frown slightly at the words but plaster a fake smile anyway.

Eventually I turn around with the teas in a tray, I pass them over to the last friend who is wearing glasses and a bright yellow jumper.

"That'll be $15.50 please." I say with a monotone voice, kind of peeved about the whole 'Being George's cousin meaning I don't look at her in that way' thing.

Alex places the cash in my hand and I shove it into the register.

They leave the store and I sigh as I continue wiping down the counter.

Around two and a half hours later my boss lets me leave. Not wanting to go home straight away, I go to the park.

I sit on a bench and stare up into the sky, watching the clouds change form and move around.

Suddenly a wet tongue licks my hand.

I immediately look down and find a very cute dog.

"Aww hello puppy." I say scratching it's head. It's extremely fluffy, almost making it look fat.

"Darcey you knob, come back here." I here a familiar geordie accent call from the distance.
"Oh hey (Y/n)."

"Hey Will." I greet him, standing to give him a hug. I notice the pinkish blush scattered on his cheeks.
I smile at him and giggle as the dog, presumably named Darcey, continues to paw at my leg.

I bend down and scratch her behind the ear.

"You never told me you had such a cute dog." I exclaim, looking up to Will.

"You never asked." He shrugs,
"I'm just looking after her for the week while me mums on holidays."

"You should definitely bring her around the flat, she's adorable."

He clips her lead back on and begins to walk down the path, motioning for me to follow.

"So what are you doing alone in the park?" Will asks, turning his head to face me.

"Just finished my shift and thought I'd take the opportunity to get some fresh air I guess."

"Fair enough." He smiles but notices me looking down,
"You alreet?"

"I guess so, you?" He nods in reply, thankfully not asking what's up, as we continue walking Darcey down the street. I can tell we're going toward the apartment block.

"Do you want to say over for dinner tonight?" I ask randomly,
"I'm cooking."

"I won't get food poising will I?" He jokes, grinning adorably. I laugh and hit him playfully.

"I'm not that bad at cooking, you dick." We laugh it off and he nods.

"Sure, I'll come."

We continue talking and joking around about different things until
we arrive at the flat.

It took no more then 15 minutes later as we took the long way,
"I'll see you tonight, yeah?" I ask as Will begins to slowly walk away.

"Of course." He smiles, I quickly walk up to him and give him a short hug, making sure to give Darcey a scratch behind the ears.

"See you later then."

"Bye (Y/n)."

I walk into the lobby, pressing the button for the elevator.

As the doors open, Alex and his two friends walk out.

"Oh hey (Y/n). I know you're cooking tonight but i'm going out with James and Fraser, so could you leave some left over for me?" Alex asks as 'James' and 'Fraser' walk out the lobby doors.

"I mean sure, as long as Will doesn't eat it all." I reply, stepping into the elevator. As the doors close I can see a look of something I couldn't quite describe flash across his face. He nods silently and walks away.

Finally making it up to the apartment, I flip down onto the lounge.

"George shut up." I hear a girl say giggling from Georgie's room. Beth just broke up with him so surely it wasn't her. Making my way cautiously to his room - I'm not a creep, just curious okay? - I open his door a little.

I peak inside to only to find George, shirtless pressed up against a half naked..
"Darcy?" I say out loud, scaring the two of them.

"Oh shit, Hi (Y/n)." George says quickly, throwing his missing shirt back on.

Frowning I shut the door.

What the fuck?
