A/N Did anyone notice that Josh/Dex fulfilled his promise to Ann at the party?

The only thing preventing Lilli from a restful sleep was thoughts of Zach with Olivia. She should have had one more glass of the Prosecco, but she was exhausted. Planning the party and Ann's leaving had taken a toll on her. She had one last day with Ann and the only thing on her to do list was to pack up Anne's files and her desk. The courier was arriving in the late afternoon.

Lilli dressed in jeans for the first time at DMLA. It would be a weird day, as Zach was scheduled to move into Ann's office. Lilli expected to be busy unpacking him as soon as she finished packing. She felt exhausted just thinking of it.

She arrived bright and early, determined to look fresh eyed compared to the Prosecco twins. If she hadn't warned Chelsea, she would be embarrassed for her. Maybe she should have warned Shania or asked Justin to babysit them. He wasn't drunk, but men had a better tolerance than skinny girls. Lilli guessed neither weighed over ninety-five pounds.

When Lilli stepped off the elevator, the reception area was empty. She walked into her office. On her desk sat a gift bag. Ann looked up at her as she stepped into her office with a coffee in her hand.

"Don't say anything Lilli," Ann said. "Today is harder than I thought it would be."

Lilli turned her lips into her mouth to show she would hold her tongue. She put the coffee down and returned to her desk. It was a chocolate croissant day. After a bite into the crispy goodness, little flakes littered her desk. She brushed crumbs off the front of her black tee shirt. Although she wore a business appropriate blazer, she knew once she started working she'd take it off. She even opted for comfortable running shoes instead of her trademark heels, not that she ever ran.

First thing she did was write up the expense report for the Ubers for Ann to sign. When she stepped out of her office to go to the copy machine, Shania was at her desk, looking less than bright and cheery.

"Good morning." Lilli smiled, feeling amused.

Shania's chin dropped. "No one told me we could wear jeans when we're hungover."

Lilli shook her head. "I'm not hungover, and you can't. I am, because I'm packing Ann's belongings."

Zach appeared. "It's my moving day, and Chelsea called in sick."

Lilli couldn't respond. He was also wearing jeans. And she thought he looked good in suits. Zach stared at her, and she felt heat creep into her cheeks. Shania giggled. Did she see Lilli checking out Zach's denim, or was she giving him the once over too?

"Lilli!" Lilli jumped at the sound of her name on Zach's lips. "I was saying Livvy will help too."

"Livvy?" She felt dumber by the second, as if the vision of the snug denim around his hips had zapped all of her brain cells. "I'm sorry. Who is she?"

"Olivia Browning. You met her last night."

The woman who had paid for the event. She mumbled. "Oh, right." Then she turned to the copier to hide her embarrassment. She muttered to herself. "Zach's dating our office manager." She remembered Kendall's comment. Sleeping with the office manager might have gotten him Ann's office, but nothing more scandalous.

The sorority girl was Olivia Browning, the office manager of the New York office. She had been emailing with her about the logistics of Ann's move for weeks. Lilli assumed the office manager was older, not young and beautiful. No wonder she took the bill for the party.

Lilli was at her desk checking on emails when Zach appeared with Olivia Browning, both laughing as they walked past her. The office manager was dressed down, but not as much as Lilli. Olivia stopped and looked back at Lilli. "Good morning, Lillian. Zach's right, you are always working."

She smiled like Lilli had been the butt of their jokes. Lilli wanted to like her, but didn't like how friendly she was with Zach. She pulled up the company webpage and looked at Zach's bio. She had memorized it when she first met him. He had interned in the New York office when he was at NYU. Then she clicked on Olivia's bio. She had also attended NYU and had worked at the New York office since she was an intern. She moved from receptionist to assistant to office manager. Lilli found it interesting she didn't follow the same career track as Zach to become an agent. The only consolation was Livvy lived in New York and Zach lived in Boston. On Monday morning, Lilli would have Zach to herself.

Why was she looking forward to her biggest nightmare?

Lilli set to work constructing the cardboard packing boxes which were sitting in the corner of her office. She used extra tape on the bottom to ensure they could hold the weight of the files and books. She had to cross reference Ann's new client list to ensure she didn't pack up the file of any client who opted to stay with Zach. Although she knew the names off the top of her head, she didn't want to make a mistake.

By noon, Zach and Livy had left, and Ann was in her office boxing up her personal items. Lilli expected Ann would go to lunch with the other agents and leave afterwards. She had movers arriving at her apartment the following morning.

When Ann left for lunch a few minutes later, Lilli took a well-deserved break. She had twelve boxes stacked and labeled properly. She knew because Olivia had come by to double check. Labeling instructions was one item in the multiple emails she had received for Olivia when she never pictured her as a threat. It insulted Lilli that the office manager hadn't trusted her to do her job correctly. Lilli cut her some slack when she overheard her talking about her recent trip to LA to ensure Leo Nelson's items were packed and shipped properly. The same courier who was picking up Ann's boxes was delivering the new agent's. Reluctantly, she had to give Olivia credit for the well-orchestrated move. Efficiency was one of Lilli's strengths and Zach picked a woman who shared it.

Lilli treated herself to Chipotle because she could eat it at every meal. As she was digging into her chicken bowl with guacamole gobbed on top, Zach stepped into her office. She froze with a mouthful of food. She normally choked when she ate in front of the man. He looked at her and said, "Don't mind me." All she could do was nod her head. "Relax, Lilli. I don't bite."

She felt the heat as her rogue mind wandered if he bit Livvy. How could he be so nice and look so good at the same time? As he walked into Ann's office, Lilli almost choked on a piece of brown rice, admiring how his butt fit his jeans, earning him the nickname Mr. Creamy. She shifted in her seat. The dampness in her jeans wasn't sweat from the manual labor. He stepped out of the office and slumped into the chair next to Lilli's desk. It wasn't as comfortable as the ones in Ann's office.

She put her fork down and looked up at him. He didn't speak to her for a moment. She willed him to walk away, but no such luck.

"Lilli, look at me." She followed his command and felt her brain cells getting sucked away by his golden eyes and beautiful smile and lips. She was in trouble. "I guarantee I'll be easier to work for than Ann. Believe me, I'm looking forward to working with you. I saw Kurt talking to you last night."

She nodded. "He was nicer than I expected."

Zach looked surprised, almost insulted, as he sprang to his defense. "He is nice. Who said he wasn't?"

Lilli waved her hand dismissively. "No one. I always expect bosses to be dreadful after my experience with Kendall."

"I can't tell you how impressed I am that you survived her. Lilli, I promise you I will not be dreadful. Most people find me quite agreeable."

"Olivia seems to." Lilli covered her mouth. She hated when her tongue decided to work without her permission. Zach's eyes narrowed, but she didn't give him a chance to respond as she said, "Regardless of what Dwyer said, there isn't room in this office for another agent. So you're stuck with me."

"I'm not leaving. I like Boston. My family's here." She nodded as she looked down at her food. "I'll let you eat. Chin up, Lilli. Maybe Leo will hate the winters."

He disappeared and she dropped her face into her hands.

Oh God, he knows you're a nervous idiot whenever he's near. At least Olivia lived in New York, and Zach liked Boston.

As expected, Ann returned from lunch and gave Lilli a stiff hug before she left. Lilli walked her to the elevator. "Don't worry, Lilli. I'll check in with you to make sure Zach's treating you okay. You'll go far. I just know it."

Lilli waved and turned to Shania, who had witnessed the exchange. She didn't even care when the receptionist saw her reach up and wipe a stray tear.

Her attention turned to Zach's loud voice. "Coming through."

He pushed a two-wheeler piled with boxes. Lilli thought his ass looked good. His flexed biceps were competing with his glutes at the moment.

He unloaded the boxes and said, "Sorry Lill. No rest for the wary."

Lilli decided it was a tie as he squatted to lift the boxes. Verifying she had enough saliva to speak, she said, "Do you moonlight as a mover?"

He chuckled. "I've moved apartments a few times." He groaned, "And helped every friend move at least once. Hopefully, my new condo will be my last move for a while."

Lilli sighed, condo. A condo was a far cry from needing two roommates to swing the rent. "Your condo in Charlestown."

Zach nodded and smiled at her. "I'm serious. I have a lot of books, so moving is no small feat."

A voice from behind her said, "I'll vouch for him. He has a ton of books."

Lilli had to switch off her daggers before she looked up at Olivia. She may live in New York, but she had been to his place.

Zach shifted his feet and looked from Olivia to Lilli. Did cool Zach look uncomfortable? Lilli pressed her lips, feeling confused. Olivia was the only one smiling. Lilli would smile everyday if Zach was hers. She dealt with the awkward situation by taking the files from Zach's boxes and putting them in the file draws she had just emptied.

If Lilli had plans to go home and drink herself to oblivion, she firmed her plans when Olivia complained the courier was late.

Zach said, "It's fine, Livvy. Dinner isn't until eight."

Lilli's plan was to be as drunk as Chelsea by eight o'clock.
