"Stella, my child," my dad said while taking a few steps towards me.

I take a few steps back and stare at him in confusion, "How-Whats going on?"

I look at Brad to see him smirking at me, "Do you like your surprise, Stella. I've bet you've missed your father."

"I thought Rex killed you.. I was there. He killed you!"

My dad shakes his head, "No, my child. You walked away, remember. He just stabbed me in the chest and left me there to bleed to death. Thankfully, Brad came a little later and found me. I've been here healing."

I shake my head and take deep breathes, "There's no way that you're telling the truth. Stop lying to me!"

"I'm not lying, Stella! How else would I be here in front of you-breathing, alive!" My dad walks up to me and grabs my face. "It's me, Stella. I'm your father."

I close my eyes and pull his body into mine, giving him a huge hug. Letting out a couple of tears I mumble into my father's chest, "I've missed you so much, dad."

He pets my head and kisses my forehead, "I've missed you, too, dear."

Pulling away from him, I wipe the tears from my eyes, "What about mom and Sam. Are they alive, too?"

His silence told me that my mother and little brother were dead and never coming back. There isn't a chance I could have them back in my life like I have my father.

"Sorry to break up your family moment, but we have a very angry army of rogues on their way," Brad says, "So, if you don't mind I would like for us to be outside and prepared. Lets go."

"Rex," I whisper. My eyes widen and I make a run for it outside. The building that we were in was surrounded my trees. I tried to concentrate and use our mate bond to connect with Rex. I don't know how close he was, but it had to be close enough if Brad knew that Rex was on his way.

Rex? Can you hear me?

Stella! Little one, is that you? He answered.

I smiled at the face that we made a connection.

It's me. I'm with Brad. He had Adam take me. Don't believe anything that he has told you. Adam has teamed with Brad.

I could literally feel the anger coming from Rex. I will take care of Adam later. Right now we are on our way.

Rex, there's another thing. My father is alive.

I ended our connection when I hear the rattling of armor and gear. Turning around I was faced with Brad, my father, and Brads army of men. They were prepared to fight.

"No! You cannot fight." I say.

"Brad, Rex, and I have unfinished business. Either you side with me or die with your monster of a mate." My father glares at me.

I can't be believe he would say something like that to me. "You can't be serious, dad. He's my mate, you know that I have to side with him."

He nods his head, "So be it. Be prepared to fight, Stella. One of us are going to die tonight."

Rex and his army of men emerge from the woods and stand tall as Rex runs to me. "Stella, baby, are you fine."

I nod and wrap myself in his arms, "I'm so glad that you're here."

He bends down and gives me a light kiss on the lips. Once he notices Brad and my father he slightly pushes the behind him getting in his protective mood.

"I see that you're alive and well," Rex says to my father.

"No thanks to you," my father snarls.

Rex lets out a deep breath and glares at my father. He then calls Adam upfront. I glare at Adam as he makes his way to us. As soon has as he makes his way to us, Rex snaps his neck. I watch as Adam's body falls to the ground.

"That's for betraying me and harming my mate," Rex says to Adams dead body.

Brad smirks and the scene, "I see that you've found out that your trusty sidekick was indeed a traitor." He laughs.

"I know all about you and your deal with Stella's former pack. Don't think that I don't have you all figured out."

Brad gives Rex around of applause, "Wonderful, wonderful. That makes this kill the even better since you know why we're going to kill you."

I glare at Brad. For someone so cocky, I hope he can back up all that talk in battle.

"This war starts now!" Rex yells. Before I know it he has run up to Brad and is choking him with his bare hands. My father takes a sword and stabs Rex in his side.

All hell broke loose.

This chapter is really short and way over due, i know. I've been so busy with school and everything is really stressful right now. I figured I'd give you guys a short chapter instead of nothing. I will be updating soon, I promise.
