We have been home for over a week now with Sadie and things have been going great.

Cotton is still trying to figure the little human out and when she cries he runs to see what is wrong.

Today I am very nervous. I went and picked up the ring I purchased for Chesney and mom helped me to get the onesie made when I went to her and asked for help.

The onesie seems to be our thing and I figured that Chesney will appreciate the thought behind the proposal.

Not sure how to pull this off but once Chesney went to take a nap I knew that I had time to set everything up outside and then get Sadie dressed in the onesie and make sure the ring is in my pocket.

I went out to our favorite swing in the backyard and put down rose petals and even lit some candles around the swing hoping that I can keep Cotton from knocking them over.

I shut the door and Cotton was on the back of the couch asleep so I went to dress Sadie in her onesie and once I got it on her I took a picture to send to mom later.

Once I heard Chesney up moving around I thought it was time to get on with the show.

I put Sadie in the bassinet and met Chesney in the kitchen. "I have a surprise for you."

"You do? What is it?"

"I need you to trust me and close your eyes I am going to lead you to the backyard."

"Ok." She smiled.

I put a blindfold on her and led her to the backyard and made her stand between the rose petals.

"Stand right there I will be right back."

I went inside and pulled the ring out of the box and went to get Sadie.

My heart was beating so fast that I wasn't sure how to even do this. I got down on one knee with Sadie in my arms and a ring on my pinky finger.

"You can take the blindfold off now Ches."

She removed it and let her eyes adjust and when she saw me on one knee she teared up.

"What is going on?"

"Read Sadie's onesie." I smiled.

"Mommy, will you marry my daddy?"

"Oh my gosh!" She put her hand over her mouth.

"I love you so much Chesney and I think it is the perfect time to ask you to marry me. Sadie is hoping that you will say yes." I smiled.

"Oh my god yes! I will definitely marry you and well Sadie has good taste." She laughed.

I got up off the grass and slipped the ring on her finger.

"The ring is gorgeous Stone I love it and I love all of this." She smiled looking down at her ring.

I walked over to where she was and pulled her into my arms without smashing Sadie and kissed her lips.

"I love you so much Ches."

"I love you too and I am thoroughly shocked."

"I am glad. Mom helped me with the onesie and that seems to be our thing."

"I love this onesie I will keep it forever." She smiled.

"Sadie mommy and daddy are getting married!" I moved her little arm up in the air.

"She will be beautiful at the wedding." Chesney smiled.

"I know someone else who will look beautiful at the wedding," I smirked.

"I know a perfect venue Stone."

"How soon can we get married?"

"Umm, I don't know we need dresses, and pick a day that is open."

"I am ready when you are Ches."

"Can we take a picture and send it to everyone?"

"Of course. Only mom knows this is happening because I needed help with the onesie and well Whit helped with the ring but she didn't know when I was proposing but I did want to wait until after Sadie got here after we had talked."

"Everything was perfect just how you did it Stone with our little family." She teared up.

I leaned in and kissed her before she took Sadie to the bassinet and I blew the candles out and picked them up so that Cotton can come outside.

When she walked back out she was smiling at her phone. "Everyone is screaming that we are engaged and they love the ring."

I can't help but smile because I have done something right. I pull her into my arms and kiss her lips.

The doorbell goes off and we look at each other before heading to the front door.

I open the door and see Clay and Whit and I can't help but laugh when Whit is jumping up and down.

"We had to see you guys." Whit giggles.

"And I come to visit the baby." Clay laughs.

"Well, she is asleep in the living room in the bassinet."

"Sis I can't pick her up on my own."

"Come on Clay I will put her in your arms." I smiled.

He followed me to the living room and sit down and I picked her up out of the bassinet and kissed her cheek.

"Come here little bunny!" Clay smiled snuggling her in his big arms.

"Thank you for giving me the ok to marry your sister."

"Stone you are the brother I never had and you have given her the love she has always longed for and I am happy for you both. I can't wait for you to get married. We all know a venue."

"That's what I said to her. Can we do it soon and she's going to look at the books tomorrow."

"I will help any way that I can."

"I appreciate that more than you know." I smiled as the women joined us.

"Look at uncle Clay. He is a natural."

"Does that make your ovaries sing Whit?" Chesney laughs.

"Oh not yet. I am enjoying being an aunty thank you."

"I brought you another bunny little bunny." Clay said bringing out a small figurine of a bunny and handing it to Chesney.

"I will put it in her room. Thank you, Uncle Clay." She smiles.
