A month has passed since the girls rolled for the first time.

Right now though I am sleep deprived. Last night, I stayed up with them and told Collin to get some sleep because the flower shop is open today but the venue is not with it being the normal day for it all.

We have been trying to take turns and getting a handful of sleep here and there.

Who knew teething would be so hard? Trinity and Serenity both are cutting teeth as Grangy and Mom put it.

They have been watching the girls the last few days while I was working the venue and the wedding that was just held too. I know that Grangy and Loretta left out last night for another quilting thing, which makes me happy for them to be doing things they enjoy too. Grangy needed another friend.

Mom and Aunt Whitney are at the gas station from what I heard yesterday after the wedding. There is stock coming in that was needed for them.

"I can close the shop down for the day." Collin walks into the nursery.

"No. No. You can't just close the shop down Collin. There is others out there that come in all the time and it being a Friday, it is also one of your busier days. I don't want the shop hurting. I have the girls." I try to smile.

"If you're sure. Here is a cup of coffee I brought for you. How long have you been up?" Collin sets the cup down.

"Uh, it is seven now. Oh, just five hours straight now. Trinity finally is sleeping but while I was up with her Serenity slept and is now awake again."

"I will try to close a little early and bring dinner home with me. Then you can sleep and I will watch them." Collin presses a soft kiss to my forehead.

A hear a burp come for Serenity and then the worst sound. Spit up.

I grab a towel and clean her little mouth, as Collin takes her and changes her shirt.

"I am going to throw this in the laundry and put a clean shirt on. Just two minutes." I rush out and change making it back.

I kiss Collin. Serenity and I see him leave out the drive.

Serenity drools and holds her teething toy close to her mouth. Poor baby will cry every time she tries to chew on it though. The pediatrician gave us things to try but none of it seems to calm them or help with the pain.

Tux is following me everywhere. He is not sure where to go or do with the girls fussy like they are.

A few hours pass by and now I have both babies awake and they are crying. I have tried offering them their bottles but they are refusing.

It takes everything in me not to burst out in tears myself at this point. There is nothing more that I want right now than to talk with Grangy or Mom. I feel like I am at a loss or failing miserably.

The door bell goes off and I barely hear it being in the nursery with the girls. I lay Trinity in her bed and then put Serenity in her bed too from where I had her in their baby high chair.

Walking to the door, I look down and see more spit up that has happened in the last thirty minutes that I hadn't been able to change out of yet.

With a sigh, I open the door to see Dad and Uncle Clay.

"Oh sweetheart." Dad steps in and gives me a side hug.

"Little bunny." Uncle Clay steps in the house after Dad.

The dam bursts and tears flow down my face uncontrollably. If I can't have Mom or Grangy, at least Dad and Uncle Clay are here, my other two hero's.

"I am sorry. The girls are teething and they have been crying nonstop for almost forty-five minutes. I can't get them to drink and nothing is soothing them."

"Collin told us when we went in to get flowers." Dad smiles down at me as we walk to the nursery.

I see Uncle Clay closing the front door.

Dad and Uncle Clay disappear into the bathroom as I pick up Serenity and sit her in the high chair again, doing the same with Trinity.

Dad walks back in and picks up Serenity, with Uncle Clay picking up Trinity. I have fresh bottles still laying there and they pick it up trying to soothe the girls.

We walk to the living room and they sit on the couch with the girls. I sit in the chair and let out a slow breath, as the girls finally calm. Poor babies have tears roll down their faces and right now I probably don't look much better.

Tux meows and watching as the girls feed.

Part of me really feels like a failure. Because I have been trying to feed them for so long but they wouldn't take the bottles.

"How did you do that?" I stutter through my own quiet sobs.

"It is a trick I learned when you were teething, sweetheart. Just like with these two nothing the doctors said to do worked, but I could wash my hands extremely well then rub over your gums where the tooth was trying to come through and it would soothe you. I will show you how to do it with the small movements in a bit." Dad smiles up to me.

"I thought I was failing them, because I didn't know what to do." I try to wipe my eyes but the tears keep going.

"You are not failing them. This is all natural and this is a little trick that we picked up along the way." Uncle Clays smiles and then grimaces looking at my shirt no doubt.

I get up and rush to the bedroom to change once again. Walking back out, I sit in the chair and lean back curling up in a tight ball. I honestly, don't want to be away from the girls for any length of time.

My eyes grow heavy as I watch Dad and Uncle Clay feed them. Tux jumps up and lays his head on my shoulder with him laying behind me watching the girls too.
