All the flowers are loaded up in the back of the truck I have. At least there is a camper on the back to where the wind doesn't destroy them while being transported. Sure, I probably should have bought a car but I love trucks they can do so much more.

I drive over to the venue and park in the front. Walking in I see Gunner at the desk. He sure hasn't changed much from high schoool, maybe a bit buffer but that is it.

"Hey Collin, good to see you. Sheesh, man you have changed. Sadie wasn't kidding when she said you had." Gunner laughs and walks around to shake my hand.

"Nice to see you again too, Gunner. Yeah, things had to change."

"I see they had for the best for you." Gunner smirks.

"Hi you must be Collin. Loretta spoke about you many times before you got to start coming here to help her." A lady walks out from the side and offers to shake my hand. "Chesney."

"Nice to meet you officially, and that's me." I shake her hand.

"So the arch in the back?" I ask.

"Yes, it is." Chesney smiles.

"Let me help you get the boxes of flowers back there." Gunner offers.

"Thanks, but I got this. I know you guys are busy." I nod.

I walk to the truck and start taking boxes around to the back. I place them by the arch to where it will be easier to put them on.

I roll up the sleeves on my shirt a few times but it still doesn't go high enough to show my tattoos. Not sure how anyone around here would feel about them showing with it being a fancy looking venue.

My mind goes over that fact that Sadie has spoke to Gunner about me. I am curious if it was all good or what may have been said.

"Those look very nice." Her voice catches my attention to pull me out of my head.

I turn my head and see her standing there is a knee length purple dress.

"The flowers or me?" I smirk, because her eyes are not even looking at the flowers, they are roaming my body.

Doesn't help my body seems to know and a part of myself is wanting to grow. I keep my breathing steady and try to not think about how her eyes are almost fucking me.

Sadie's cheeks turn a flaming hot red color and I chuckle.

"You look very nice." I compliment her.

"Thank you. I have to look the part though for today and jeans don't work so well." She laughs lightly.

I pick up several sunflowers and add them on the arch. Before doing several daisies around them.

"Can I help?" I turn to see her watching.

"Sure. I hope this way is okay."

"It looks very nice the way you are using the daisies for the main background then the sunflowers as an added on."

I am taken back by how she notices so easily and I barely have any on the arch so far.

"Yeah, I had more daisies then sunflowers." I smile.

We work on the arch and I can't help but steal glances at her.

Once we are done, we step back and look at it.

"Thanks for bringing them out and getting them ready on short notice." She smiles to me.

"I am glad to help. Here you will need this to wipe your hands." I hand her the cloth from the bucket, I brought with a few things incase the stems needed to be trimmed a little more.

Sadie laughs and looks to see a slight yellow on her palms. "What is that?"

"The pollen from the flowers." I chuckle.

After her hands are clean, she hands me the cloth and I proceed to wipe mine off quickly.

"Would you like something to drink? I am sure Uncle Dwight has some lemonade."

"I don't want to impose and I know you are all busy." I smile.

"Nonsense, come on." Sadie takes my hand and leads me into the venue through the back door.

"I already got you both something refreshing. This is a new strawberry lemonade, Darling." A middle age man smiled.

"Thanks Uncle Dwight." Sadie hands me a glass and we both try drink.

"This is really good." I thank him again. The sweet and tangy dance in my mouth.

I watch Sadie try it before she smiles bright.

"This has got to be my new favorite." She smiles and takes another drink.

Gunner walks in through the back, with Chesney. They both look between us and I refrain from taking a step back, but Chesney gets a large smile on her face. It wasn't until they came in did I realized how close to Sadie I have been standing.

It feels nice though being close to her.

"Sadie there is a slight issue with one of the speakers." Gunner sighs.

Sadie sets her glass down with a sigh. "It is probably the plug again. I will be buying a new one and very soon."

She turns to me. "Thank you again for the flowers on a short notice."

"Of course. Oh, let me get the bouquet for the bride to hold." I set the glass down. "Thank you for the lemonade."

Walking out back, I grab the bucket and boxes. Putting them in the truck, I grab the last small basket and walk into the front.

Sadie stands there and smiles brightly. "They are so pretty. Here is the check also for you. I made sure to add a bonus to it with it being such a quick notice."

"You didn't have to do that." I lay the basket on the desk and accept the check.

Chesney comes out and tells Sadie the bride has arrived.

"Thanks Mom." Sadie smiles to Chesney.

She turns back to me. "Thanks again and I shall see you soon for the next wedding."

"Can't wait." I smile.

I watch her walk off to the side. She does look so beautiful in that dress.

It hits me as I get in my truck, I am going to ask Sadie on a date. The how and when is another question I have to figure out.

A/N---
