It has been a week since Sadie was put on bedrest. Things are going smoothly though.

Today we seen the doctor again and she got the second set of steriods. The doctor is confident that even if she has the babies before next week they won't have to spend any time in the NICU now because with the ultrasound today, they were practicing their breathing in womb.

I have talked with Aunt Loretta and didn't even get to ask but instead got told, she is taking over the shop until after the babies are born and things are going good. I don't even argue with her but I have been by a few times to help out when Sadie had someone with her at the house.

Clay and Stone have been by so much this last week and I am not complaining in the least. I am more than happy to have her family around us and helping in anyway possible. At least when I have to make a run to town I don't stress about Sadie doing much because someone is there.

Sadie was a little upset that she is on bedrest, because she wants to be at the venue. The venue is booked, but Chesney and Whitney are helping there and making sure things run smoothly for Sadie.

Bonnie has been by also and visited. She brought dinner over with her the evening she came and we all had a nice time talking.

"Where do I put this?" Clay whispers.

"Under the couch on the edge, please. That is where I sit so I can reach under and grab it when the time is right." I smile.

Right now, Stone and Clay are here at the house and helping me to set up the living room. Sadie is napping and it seems like the perfect time.

Since Sadie is on bedrest, we are going to surprise her for a date night here in our living room. We had wanted to have one last date with just the two of us before the girls got here and it is not safe for her to go out other than to appointments so Stone and Clay came up with this idea.

Hopefully we can get through the date without having to go to the hospital. Because she has been having irregular contractions and has dilated a bit more but we still get to be home for now.

"I think it is all done." I smile standing back and looking at the living room.

"Looks great." Clay smiles.

"Hey foods here. I am going to catch them before the guy rings the doorbell." Stone rushes out.

I am amazed when such a large guy could run and not make a single noise. Okay, maybe I should be scared of my father-in-law with that because he could do something and no one would ever freaking know.

I walk over and pay the guy as Stone takes the bags to the table we set up with candles and rose pedals.

I help him get the plates filled and then Clay takes the rest to the kitchen and places them on the counter. I put the fancy lids over the plates that Stone brought over that Chesney insisted on having us use and said it will keep the food hot also until we remove the lids.

Clay and Stone pat my back.

"You are the best for my little girl. I can't thank you enough for making her happy." Stone smirks.

"I love her with everything I have." I smile lightly and nod.

"We can see that. Not many would do this and you do so much for her while making sure she feels independent too. Little bunny is in perfect hands." Clay smirks.

I see them out the door and go to the closet. I change into a nice button up short sleeve shirt. Walking over to the bed, Tux is curled up next to Sadie's stomach and meows when I go to wake her gently.

"Hey flower. Dinner is ready."

Sadie opens her eyes and smiles. I help her up and to the bathroom.

"I brought this in for you to change into." I smile and lay a summer dress on the counter.

"Thanks. I definitely want to change out of this long shirt. It helps to freshen up." She smiles.

I turn to hide my smirk because she didn't even notice it.

Once she is out of the bathroom, I can't get over how gorgeous she is.

"Why am I in a summer dress? Not that I am complaining it is nice to be in something simple and not just pajamas." Sadie smiles.

I take her hand and guide her to the door. "Because I have a surprise for you."

I open the door and guide Sadie out, with Tux right on her heels.

"Oh Collin. This is beautiful." Sadie smiles before turning her head more to kiss me.

"I had help so I won't take all the credit. Plus, Dwight sent over some cobbler with your Dad and we still have cookies from when Bonnie was here two days ago."

I guide her to her chair and make sure she is sat down and comfortable, before I pull the lid off her plate.

"There is all my favorites." Sadie giggles. "What do you have under your plate?"

I take my seat and remove the lid to show her it is almost like hers but mainly just the pasta from the Italian place we enjoy. Sadie laughs and grabs her fork.

"There is extra things in the kitchen too incase you need more of something." I smile and dig in.

It is a weird combination but I don't say a word of it to Sadie. It is eggrolls, pasta, crab legs, cheese knots, salad, then terikiyi chicken.

We eat in silence with the electric candles doing their flicker thing.

Poor Tux, is on his cat tree to the side of us and staring hard, as his head moves in circles trying to smell everything.

"He is wanting our food." Sadie giggles.

"I did put out a can food for him to have something special too. He ate it before joining you on the bed." I laugh.

"My sweet boy is been even more lovey, but I think he knows the girls are in here and will be out soon."

I nod and smile. "See we still have our boy. He is right here." I hand Tux a small bite of chicken.

"That we do." Sadie smiles and gives him a bite of food too.

"Thank for this Collin."

"I would do anything for you and our girls. Now, how about I put all of this in the dishwasher and then we can snuggle up on the couch for a movie?"

"Sounds perfect. To bad we can't at least get in a small dance." Sadie smiles lightly.

"Well, we can do a little slow dance but you can't be on your feet for to long." I smile and turn some music on, pulling her into my arms for a small dance before cleaning from dinner before our movie.
