Thankfully the shop and venue is closed today but is also my thirty-four week check up. Last week the doctor was glad with how smooth things have gone so far, considering we are closing in on the end of this pregnancy.

Those false labor pains have been a thing for a solid week now. The first time it happened poor Collin, wigged on me slightly until he remembered the doctor said it is a natural thing that happens. Since then though Collin has been with me other than when we are working.

I finish dressing from the shower and hear as Collin closes the closet door. I smile and open the door to see him, I can't miss the view of him changing clothes from his joggers to jeans.

Sadly, my hormones are also out of control but we have been told not to indulge in any sexual activities. The worst of everything, I have done some nice things for Collin though, no reason for him to suffer and it will be something I keep up in pleasing him until I am healed enough for us to go at it again.

Collin does so much for me the least I can do is make sure he is happy too.

"Do you need anything?" His voice sounds out after he spins to see me standing by the door.

"Nope, all good. I am ready other than putting my shoes on."

"Have a seat, they are right here." Collin smiles.

I sit on the bed and slip my feet into the tennis shoes. He has to help lace them because as large as I am now, it is almost impossible. Flats are no longer a thing for me because my feet have started swelling some and makes them hurt. At least the tennis shoes stretch out a good ways and the support they give doesn't make my feet hurt either.

"There all set. Okay, let's go to the appointment. It is exciting the girls will be here in a few weeks." Collin smiles and helps me stand from the bed.

We get to the front door and I stop, which makes Collin stop since his hand was on my back.

"What's wrong?"

"Uh, love. You are forgetting your wallet." I raise an eyebrow at Collin.

"Crap." He mumbles and dashes into the living room to grab it before walking back up to me.

"Aren't I supposed to be the one with memory issues?" I laugh.

We get in the truck and drive to the appointment. Another thing I am no longer able to do either until after the twins are born is drive. Doubtful I can even fit behind the steering wheel comfortably, but it still stinks at times.

It takes no time before we are in the clinic and already waiting on the doctor.

"Hey guys. We are close to the finish line." The doctor smiles and hooks me up to do a small test.

"I will be back in within fifeteen minutes or so when this is over. After we will talk and see what to do next. So far everything has shown to be good so lets hope that keeps up because it would be great if we can get these girls to thirty-six weeks minimum and hopefully even closer to thirty-seven but that could be a stretch." The doctor smiles and leaves us in the room.

The sounds of their heartbeats fill the room as the two monitors is to keep check of them while the other is to check for contractions.

"They are active today." I smile down at my bump and then look up to Collin.

He watches as little kicks happen and it causes the machine to put off funny sounds. I think they don't like the monitors on at all.

"I don't see how that never hurts." Collin laughs lightly.

"Sometimes it gets uncomfortable and it has hurt once when they got a rib." I smile.

"Do we have everything for them or are there things that need to be got?" Collin pipes up.

"Hmm." I think over everything. "We have it all. Plus between Grangy and Loretta we even have a large stock on diapers."

Collin nods. "Aunt Loretta has been so excited. Everyone has."

"There hasn't been a baby around since Gunner and I were little. Or even Van when Dad's friend was around and Van being right at our ages."

A knock sounds on the door before the doctor walks in.

"Let's get this off and I take a look at the papers there." He smiles.

Collin moves to the side but still holds my hand like always and in just a few moments I pull my shirt back down over my bump.

The doctor hums as he looks over the papers that came out of the machine.

"Did you feel any pain while it was going?"

"Nope."

"Thing is you had a true contraction, just very light." The doctor sighs looking at the rest of the paper.

Collin moves and stands next to me completely.

"So here it is. You have two options seeing as this week you have started having actual contractions unlike last week when they were the false labor pains. Option one is that I admit you into the hospital until you give birth. This would be where we would give you two doses of steriods and you would be monitored constantly around the clock." The doctor pauses.

"What is the second option?" Collin pipes up, since my mouth has went dry.

They can't come this early. I have to hold them in for at least two more weeks.

"I let you go home and it is strict bed rest. It would be something you can do in the comfort of your own home. You would be able to move a bit more freely than in the hospital along with not being as stressful. Since you didn't feel the contraction truly and you are not dilated more than a one, with the rest of your health and the twins is good."

"I want to go with the second option." I don't even think it over and Collin gives a nod in return too.

"Okay then. So, what I am going to do today is give you a couple shots of a steriod and then next week when you come in at the beginning you will get the second set of it. That way if things tend to happen faster than thirty-six weeks, at least the babies will be less likely to be in the NICU. We are really just concerned with lung development at this stage and the steriods will help."

We nod and get the shots before going home.

"How are you feeling Sadie?" Collin looks over to me once we got home.

"Nervous but I feel like everything will be okay. I guess I need to call Mom and talk to her, because I can't let the venue just go and there are weddings planned. How are you?"

It is only fair to ask him because I know this all affects him too.

"I am just fine knowing that the three of you are healthy. We just got to make sure you take it easy." Collin kisses me tenderly.

A/N---
Hey Hey Guys!!!

Time for the twins to arrive is fast approaching! Any guesses of they will come early by just a little?

How will Sadie do being on bedrest?
