"Hey Darling, Marcel and I whipped this up just for you." Dwight hands over a container and I can smell it already.

"Thanks Uncle Dwight. This will be very much enjoyed and may just be supper." I giggle.

"Now your Mom would get my butt if she knew you had all of that cherry cobbler for dinner." Dwight laughed.

"Mom doesn't have to know." I smirk.

"You and I both know that once your home, your going to tell Chesney." Uncle Dwight smiled.

"No better way to eat your delicious cobbler than with Mom though." I smile and give him a one arm hug.

I drive home after spending another day at the venue. Gunner and I did get the music list made up because it is apparent no DJ is available. This cobbler though is the cherry on top, no pun intended, and I have already called Mom to let her know.

Stepping out of my car, I look at the little house that I enjoy coming home to every day.

It is not the fanciest on the block but I don't need it to be and it means so much more that Dad and Uncle Clay built this for me. They know I didn't want an overly large house and it is easy to build on should I ever need it.

Mom pulls in not a second later. "Hey bunny. I am here for some mother daughter time with that cobbler. Oh, also brought over some of your Grangy's chicken and dumplings."

I smile wide. This afternoon keeps on getting better and better. Nothing in this world can beat my Grangy's chicken and dumplings but to pair it to the cherry cobbler. It is a wonder I don't weigh a ton, because there is no self restraint with all the delicious food I have grown up with.

With a flip of the key, I open the door and step inside with Mom behind me.

"Hi, Tux." I smile down when my cat comes racing to get some leg rubs.

Tux moves next to love on Mom and she places the container of food down to pick him up.

"Dad and Uncle Clay working still?" I ask Mom, as I close the door and take the food to the kitchen.

At least it is a straight walk across the house with the open floor plan.

"Yeah, there is still a couple of weeks left on the project they are doing. I spent the day with Whit today at the gas station stocking more and then went and seen Bonnie."

"You could have told Grangy she could have came over too."

Mom pulls her phone and makes a quick call. "She is on her way here."

I smile. I love spending time with Mom and Grangy. There is nothing better in this entire world than the two women I am closest too.

Mom sits on the couch with me and we go over the wedding tomorrow.

"Do you want me to come up tomorrow to help out? I know Whit can also if you want her too, Clay can tend to the gas station." Mom offers.

"If you want to Mom, you know that I never say no to you or Aunt Whitney coming." I smile and pet over Tux's fur.

The front door opens and Grangy walks in.

"Grangy." I jump up off the couch with Tux in my arms.

Grangy opens her arms and I go right to her.

"How is my grandbaby?"

"I am good Grangy, just this wedding is getting both Gunner and I this time with how short of a notice everything is." I smile.

"You can do it. Your Mom and Aunt taught you well and I know they are there if you need it."

"Same thing I have told her Bonnie. Sadie is handling it like a pro like always though. I do plan to go out tomorrow to just help where her and Gunner need me." Mom walks over.

We go to the kitchen and wash up, getting out the chicken and dumplings. Sitting at the counter we talk about everyday things, before digging into the cobbler.

"You know what would go best with this that is missing?" Mom laughs.

"What is that Chesney?" Grangy looks to Mom.

"Ice cream." Mom and I laugh together.

After we are done eating, the three of us clean up the kitchen. Grangy says she has to get back to Gramps and hugs Mom and I both.

"So I will see you in the morning, little bunny." Mom kisses my head.

"Thanks Mom." I smile.

"I better get the other container of food home that Bonnie gave me so that your Dad can eat." Mom snickers.

"Dad is probably wondering where you are at." I laugh.

"He knows that I am with our baby girl." Mom hugs me tight. "Oh, also Dad will be by tomorrow evening to clean your gutter on the side since it is dry now."

"Well, we will no doubt have left over food from the wedding for us to have for dinner tomorrow night." I smile.

"Dwight has always taken care of us after a wedding." Mom laughs.

Mom leaves out and I lock up the door, before going to my room with Tux following. Grangy and Mom slipped him so much chicken from the food that he hasn't even touched his cat food.

I throw on some pajamas and crawl up into bed. I grab the remote and turn the tv on to watch a movie. Nothing better than going to sleep to a romance movie.

Downfall to watching these movies, I want a love like that. Just like I see Mom and Dad have.

Collin flickers in my mind and I can't help the sigh that escapes me. This is now night two I have thought of him since seeing him yesterday after several years. He has sure gotten handsome and looks a little different than he used too. Even his voice is deeper than when I heard him talk a few times during class.

A part of me is very excited about tomorrow and not just for the fact there is a wedding. But the fact I am going to try and make a point to see Collin while he is at the venue.
