It has been three months since the family dinner. Things have been splendid since then with Sadie and I going on more dates. At least twice a month we have went and had family dinner at her grandparents. Sadie joined me in visiting Aunt Loretta not long after the first family dinner, which went great since they know each other too. Together we have went to my parents grave also.

Which may be strange but at the first family dinner before we left Stone and Clay exchanged numbers with me. Stone wanted me to be able to give him a call or text anytime I felt like I needed too, which he knows I lost my parents at a young age from Chesney clueing him in. Clay wanted me to give him a call immediately if something happens with Sadie and she is with me so he could be there instantly.

They both still enjoy giving me a hard time but it tells me where Sadie got her teasing from apparently both sides of her family equally. I wouldn't change it for nothing though.

Sadie and I have been on so many dates. Along with spending every moment we can with each other.

I do have to say her house is very nice and cozy, the first time seeing it I tried so hard to not laugh. She has so many bunny figures that it could make a museum in her house. No wonder she said I had a bare apartment, but it's something I would never change about her either.

With the flowers in the new vase, I walk it to display area and place it. I walk around and start to remove the wilting ones. Don't need any downers making the area look bad. Plus Aunt Loretta would get me if she came in and seen any. She has eyes that zoom in on them instantly if there is even just a single one. Not that there is many just a couple of flowers that are ready to meet their grave.

Some flowers wilt faster than others which can make it hard for some times of the year. Although, I have got mums in recently because fall will be here before we know it since we are almost done with August now.

I walk to the back and place the flowers in the recycle bin, since Aunt Loretta comes to collect them. She makes something out of them to help refertilize the soil for her garden.

I sit at the desk to place an order with my big shot suppliers. Once the order is put in, I open the drawer and see the tiny box that I bought just a week ago.

Something pulled me into the store and I seen it first. The lady said that piece had just came in and to me it fit perfectly so I bought it.

One thing left to do though because I have to do things the right way. With a glance at the clock, I can see that Sadie is still at the venue. She has a bridezilla on her hands this time around which has kept her busy the last few days.

I pick my phone up and send a text to Stone asking if he can stop by the flower shop or if we can meet up somewhere when he isn't busy.

Putting the phone back down, I walk out to the front with the door chime dinging.

"Hey, random question." A woman walks in.

"Hello. Ask away and I will try to help you." I look at her.

"So I know it is a few months out, but I will be needing some old flowers specifically roses. The more wilted the better. I am going to be spray painting them anyways. I need them for a Halloween party. Could you have those maybe by time I need them like a week before?"

I try not to give the most confused look ever. "Sure. Shouldn't be a problem. Just give the shop a call a little before then to where I can make sure not to just put them in the bin."

I write it down also. Even if notes can get lost it is best to have her call too.

"Thanks. I will pay for price like they were the normal rose too." She smiles and walks out.

I think that is the craziest thing that has ever been asked for in my shop.

A moment later Stone walks in.

"Hey Stone."

"Hey. You wanted to talk?"

"Yeah, we can move back here to the back."

We step in the back and I move to the desk.

"I would like to ask your permission to marry Sadie." I look at him.

Stone nods and looks hard at me. "You have mine and Chesney's permission. We can see how happy she is and you look at her like I do Chesney."

"Thank you." I smile.

"Thank you Collin, for treating my daughter right. I must have done right by being protective because the right one came along before she could ever experience heartbreak. Something I never wanted for her. Sadie has always been a happy little girl." He smiles lightly.

"I love her so much and have just within the second time we got to spend time together." I smile and pull out the ring. "I got this just last week and wanted to ask her after the wedding is over tomorrow but knew I couldn't without asking you first."

"You could have." Stone smirks.

"It wouldn't have been right if I didn't." I counter.

"Thank you for asking. Chesney and I had been waiting for this to come, we had thought it wouldn't be to long. We all see the love you both have for each other."

Stone looks at the ring and smiles. "She will love that. You choose very nice."

"It fits her." I smile and put it back up.

"So do you know how your going to propose?" Stone smirks.

"I think so."

"Let me hear it. I got nothing else to do today and Chesney is actually at the venue helping out." Stone leans on the desk with me.

We spend the next hour going over what my plan is and Stone nods.

"That is very nice. I will keep this between us for now because Chesney will get so excited and it will be hard to hide tomorrow."

I nod and laugh. "Yeah, and considering I will be there to put up the flowers before the wedding."

"Well this is a welcome to the family early." Stone pats my back and smirks.
