The last three days has been marvelous.

Sadie spent the entire day with me when things happened with her uncle. She was full of questions and amazed how I can trim the flowers without measurement.

Today though, nerves are rolling in harsh for me. All because my shop is closed and so is the venue, which means Sadie thinks it's a perfect opportunity for me to go with her over to her Grangy's house for a family dinner.

Never in my life have I felt like a girl. Today however, I have changed my shirt twice now. Somehow I don't know if it would look good on me to wear just a t-shirt and show the tattoos going down to my elbows on both arms, so I have a white tee underneath the button up shirt.

My phone pings and I snatch it up to see Sadie saying she is waiting for me downstairs by the door.

It sends me racing down the steps and to the back door. I unlock the door and open it immedaitely, there stands my girl.

"Did you really just run down the stairs again?" Sadie laughs.

"Yup. I had to get down to my flower and not keep her waiting." I smile.

Sadie walks in and hugs me tight around my waist. My arms wrap around her and I smell her shampoo.

"You look cute." I smile.

Sadie pulls back. "I forget this is the first time you have seen in something plain and not at least nice looking. I mean you have seen me in jeans and a dress but my shirt the last time was one of my nice ones since I worked. This is the basic everyday shirts when not at the venue."

I smirk when I look at the rabbit on her shirt.

"It is fitting for the nickname your uncle called you."

"He has always called me that and it is weird for him call me by my name. Just like Dad and Mom they tend to stick to the bunny nickname and sometimes I hear other things."

I walk over to the side and look at the counter.

"So does this work for seeing your family?" I motion to my clothes.

"Jeans, plain shirt, and buton up shirt." Sadie looks before smirking. "I much prefer to see your tattoos. One day you should tell me about them."

"I will." I nod. "Wasn't sure if them seeing all the tats would be fine for the first impressions. I mean I have seen your Mom before at the venue but she has never seen the ink I have either."

"Wear what your comfortable in Collin. They won't judge." Sadie smiles.

I pick up the box and turn to her. "Ready."

"What is all of those for?" Sadie looks at the box.

"I figure I would give flowers to all the ladies." I grimace.

Sadie breaks out in a wide smile. "Look who is trying to butter up my family. That is very sweet of you."

She walks over and kisses my cheek.

We walk out of the shop and I place the box of flowers in the back of her car, before going back to lock up.

"Should we take my truck?" I ask her before getting in the car with her already in the driver seat of her car.

"Collin get in this car and stop stalling. I happen to know that Uncle Dwight already made up some cobbler and Mom grabbed it this morning, so it is calling my name. Also Grangy made up some of her famous chicken and dumplings again, there is no way I am missing food."

I get in the car because it is apparent how food is my girls world in so many ways.

"Here we go!" Sadie bounces with a smile on her face.

I think I am starting to see how her nickname is bunny in a way. Sadie is always bouncing around it seems like when she gets excited, but it does help to calm my nerves by seeing her so happy.

"You will love all the food. I am serious that orgasm you gave me was amazing but it is a hard tie for the food. So just don't ask me to choose which one I like better. Trust me you will understand once you taste it all."

Her comment catches me off guard and I choke on my own spit.

Sadie laughs while at the red light.

"That worked." She smirks.

I catch my breath. "You're not serious.

"Not in the least I rather enjoyed your hand better than food, which is saying a lot. Just trying to cut the tension for you to relax because your leg is bouncing nonstop over there." She smirks and glances at me before the light turns green.

"I am just nervous is all, Flower. All I had for the largest part of my life is my Aunt."

Sadie spares me a soft sad glance. "I couldn't do it. I don't know how you have. I don't even want to imagine what it would be like without my family."

"Aunt Loretta is great. She gave me so much but there was always that part missing and I know she grieves over my parents still. My mom was her sister."

"I'm sorry, Collin. Sometime in the future if you want I will go to their grave sight with you."

"I would like that." I give her a soft smile.

The drive is fairly short by the time Sadie is pulling into a driveway with other vehicles here.

I get out when she does and she trots over to me with a large smile. Her arms go around my waist and she stands on her tip toes, while I bend my head down to capture her lips.

When she pulls back our smiles mirror each others.

"Had to do that, since Dad and Uncle Clay are in the window." Sadie smirks.

And cue the nerves to kick in once more. Stop it Collin, no nerves.

I get the box from the back seat and we walk hand in hand up to the front door.

The door flies open and an older lady comes out with her arms wide open.

"Come here my bunny and give Grangy a hug." The lady smiles wide.

Sadie lets go of my hand and bounces up the stairs. I see Clay and guessing Stone standing before them staring right at me with hard looks.

Here goes nothing. Hope I make a good impression.
