Jungkook blinked a couple of times and looked at Taehyung who had the same reaction on his face and then again back at Jennie

"Uhm- Jennie- it's- okay I'll leave you guys here I don't want to b-"

"I'm sorry....."

Jungkooks eyes widened as he opened his mouth but nothing came out

"Im- sorry booboo....I acted like a bitch to you these months....Dad - didn't aay anything wr-ong- h-he was right....I didn't even want to listen to your part of the story, I-I just thought it'd be - it'd be unfair to my mom.....and i thought you'll steal dad away from- me which is- pretty childish....I'm so sorry- after all the things dad said.....After I ran away , I gave it a thought, I - understood all the things and was coming back home when-"

She pointed her index finger out to her head and other injuries

"-this happened"

She said and looked up at Jungkook with, big teary eyes

The room went silent , only Jennie's soft sniffles being heard

Jennie finally let go of Jungkooks hand and looked down

"Its- okay - I understand if you don't forgive- I mean- you should not forgive me , I totally understand..... Just give me t-time-"

Jennie stopped when she felt arms wrapping around her

"It's okay now don't cry hmm?"

Jungkook softly said kissing her head

Jennie buried her chest into his chest

"I-I- m rea-lly - s-sorry- I - pro-mise - i-ll be- good-"

Jungkook smiled a few happy tears escaping his eyes as he rubbed circles over her back

"You don't need to promise me anything princess , I already know you apologised to me and that's completely fine, I understand your mental state you were in when you suddenly found out that your dad is married to me"

He said as Jennie nodded silently

Taehyung grinned brightly, after so many days , he showed his boxy grin

Jungkook looked at Taehyung and he nodded still grinning

Jennie was still crying in his arms

"I mean- who wouldn't be surprised right? Look at your dad he's a old man and look at me , No match right?"

Jungkook said as Jennie chuckled

"H-heyyy! What the hell- why are you dragging me into this? And im- I'm a handsome man! Girls are still head over heels for me"

Taehyung said chuckling lightl

"Oh- girls are , not boys are they?"

Jungkook said batting his lashes as Jennie broke into a laughter

Both of them were happy seeing their daughter laugh so much after so many days

Jungkook pulled away from the hug , smiling brightly

"Okay- enough of all this now you need to eat, I already bought some food with me because I knew you people are gonna be hungry so- wait , let me serve you"

He said and went to take out the two tiffin boxes outta his bag

"Hyung- I've bought- kimchi fried rice for you will it work?"

"Agh- anything would work right now , I so hungry"

Jungkook chuckled and gave him his share of the food and turned to Jennie who was resting in her bed looking up at the ceiling

Jungkook went to her and slowly helped her get up

As she leaned over the pillow Jungkook took the vegetables soup to her

"Not fair.....I want Kimchi rice too....you gave dad rice and not me!"

She said pouting as Taehyung raised a  brow

"That's because I'm special"

He said smirking to his daughter

"Oh c'mon now- stop fighting, and Jennie , I'll make you loads of your favorite food once you get alright, in this condition of yours I don't think it'll be good for you to eat spices"

He said blowing air in the soup and took one spoonful of it and held in front of her mouth

"Now eaaaattt c'mon"

He said and Jennie smiled and opened her mouth happily eating with glee

Jungkook was standing in the hospital boundary looking out at the he night city and rubbing his hands together because of the cold weather

He leaned over the railing with a big smile on his face as he looked up into the sky

".....I did it Somi , i made them smile again....at least I tried....I don't know if I could take care of them like you did, but I promise to take care of them "

He said looking at the stars

"Hmm.....Now that's unfair"

Jungkook heard the familiar deep voice and turned around

"That's unfair Jungkook, you will be taking care of us .....and we will be accepting it without returning the favor.....it's - not fair is it?'

Taehyung walked towards Jungkook with something in his hands Jungkook didn't quite understand

"Huh- hyung- you should be besdie Jennie right now- is she asleep? She didn't bleed anymore right? Did doctors changed the b-"

A index finger landed on his plum lips

"Shhh.... you're worrying too much , yes she is alright, she didn't bleed anymore and the nurses are changing her bandage that's why they told me to get out for an hour"

He spoke softly looking down at the younger boy his finger still in his mouth

After quite a moment the both looked away a little embarrassed for not knowing what's happening to them all the time

"Ahem- so- I bought you some steak , you need to eat-"

"You didn't have to do that! I'm completely fine"

"No You're not , don't think I didn't notice that you too didn't eat , this is truly not fair jungkook, you brought food for us and not for yourself, at least if you didn't let me take care of you a bit too?"

He said and Jungkook sighed and nodded

They went over to the metal hospital seats and sat there

Taehyung gave jungkook the food and he immediately started eating because, he was really hungry

"Mmh- this is really tasty hyung, thank you so much"

He smiled and to the older and the older smiled back at him

They sat in complete silence as Jungkooks mind somehow went back into the fest and then.....back to the not supposed to be kiss they shared

His body stiffened a bit remembering all that , they still didn't talk about it a bit

Taehyung was leaning into the wall looking up at the white hospital ceiling as he felt a small hand into his

He immediately looked down and looked at Jungkook

"Huh? Is something the- matter?"

"I-I- think we should talk about- today's events a little bit"

Jungkook said looking down

"Today's.....events? What about it?"

"Hyung after the dance- we- we- did- "

He sluttered a little and Taehyung totally understood what he was saying

"O-oh- that- yes- I understand"

He said a little unsure about what he should say

After a few minutes Taehyung finally spoke up inhaling a sharp breath

"Look Jungkook.....that- wasn't supposed to happen , and both of us know that pretty well....I-I feel guilty for doing all this - too Somi , even of she's not there with us- I- just cant- accept anybody else , I'm so- sorry for Kissing you Jungkook- I wasn't- in my right mind , I hope you'll forgive me"

Taehyung said gulping

On the other hand jungkook felt a pang in his chest

He couldn't speak up as he felt his chest tighten a little

"I-Its alright hyung , both of us were caught into the moment- It won't happen again"

He said , fiddling with his fingers

"Mhm , Thank you so much Jungkook"

The older said and got up walking away

Jungkook sat there , totally unsure of what he's feeling

He was well aware of the fact that it was totally impossible for the older to accept anyone other than his sister , he loved her dearly and is still loyal to her , and that proves how much he loved her and he still does

But..... what is this feeling?
