The day of the party

Did he really abandon me like this? I don't know what to do. My body is shivering, my lips are trembling and my heart is shattered.

And it suddenly started raining making everything worse.

What should I do? Should I call my parents? I can't even think straight at this point. I'm already triggered and traumatized at what happened to me just a few moments ago and now heartbroken that Asher isn't answering. He wasn't there when I needed him the most. Tears sprung out of my eyes again at the horrifying memories and I hurriedly called my parents hoping to god they will get here soon. I am just standing here in the rain waiting for my parents and I couldn't stop crying.

Soon enough my parents arrive at Olivia's house, and seeing my broken state, my mom and dad hurriedly rush towards me and pull me into a hug. They led me into the car. "what happened sweetheart?" my mother asks while brushing the hair off my face.

"mum someone touched me in places they shouldn't and i don't feel good" I tell them ,my lips trembling and tears in my eyes and she gasps and pulls me in a hug. My dad's fists are clenching on the wheel and I can tell he is doing his best not to snap. "Don't worry Scarlett, those who made you like this will suffer for what they did" she assures me repeatedly and strokes my hair. It was pretty late so I fell asleep in my mother's arm hoping that the horrifying memories would not appear in my brain again.

It's been a week since I stepped out of the house, I still don't feel totally ok but my parents insist I go to school so I finally go to school.

I am walking to school because I badly need sunlight.I go through my phone, finding a song to play on Spotify when I bump into someone.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean-" I look up to see the person so I can apologise to them and the colour in my face drains, Jake Cooper. I stand frozen, not able to comprehend that he was right here before me and I just want to get out of here. I feel my chest tightening and I just mutter out a quick sorry and rush out of there. I turn towards an alley and put both of my hands on the wall and try to take a deep breath. Tears are stinging in my eyes and I just can't seem to look at Jake without the memories of that night flashing right before my eyes. The wound is just too fresh.

I take a deep breath and compose myself and I turn . I get startled by Jake standing right in front of me.

"Wha-what do you want?" I ask, stammering in fear. He takes a few steps closer to me and my back hits the wall. "You are Asher's best friend right?" He asks with his eyebrows raised. I slowly nod trying to understand what he is talking about.

He takes out his phone from his pocket and shows me something.

My heart stops.

It's a video of me getting molested in the party , I couldn't help but tears are following from my eyes. How did he get it??

"Ja- jake what are you doing ?" I ask him sobbing. " It will be fun if I post this video on the internet right?" he asks with a smirk. "no no please don't, I'll do anything" I plead with a broken look. "Anything huh? You are the only person he cares about so it will be fun if I hurt you right?" he tells with a smirk and suddenly people come out. I couldn't help but to panic.

"They would definitely have fun with you." He says and the people approach towards me " give them a good time slut" he says making me feel disgusted about myself . I no longer should stay here. I ran from there without looking back.

I run back home and I rush towards my parents "please please please let's just get out of this place I can no longer stay here" I tell my parents sobbing.

Day of the party

Me and Noah are right now going to Olivia's party on Noah's bike. It was raining pretty badly and the roads were slippery, but we were going slow so there was nothing to worry about. Or so I thought.

Either Noah or I saw the slippery road in front of us near the left turn we had to take and when I finally looked at it my eyes widened. Before I could warn Noah, the bike skidded of the road and into the bushes and I slowly drift off out of conscious.

I wake up with a groan and I can feel my head pounding. I open my eyes and I'm greeted with white walls. Where am I? I start to get up but immediately groan because of my headache.

"Woah easy there buddy, you had a pretty major concussion" Noah exclaims pushing me back onto bed.

"What the fuck happened? And how long has it been since I fell unconscious" I exclaim, my voice husky from just waking up.

"you banged your head pretty hard on the tree trunk, it's been a week" he tells me and my eyes widen.

"A WEEK?! I'VE BEEN UNCONSCIOUS WEEK?!" I exclaim but immediately crush my head in pain.

"Did scar ever visit me?" I ask him with a hopeful gaze and he winces. "About that asher. She left" he says with a reluctant look.

"What do you mean left?" I asked frowning, she couldn't just leave. Not again. "Her father got transferred" he says with a sigh and a few tears build up in my eyes.

"So she never came to see me and tell me?" I ask with a broken voice and a look of betrayal in my eyes. "sorry dude" he whispers and I sigh. This can't be happening again.

"Where is my phone I need to call her" I tell him frantically looking around for it.

"Your phone got lost asher , i couldn't find it" he tells me and of course, today couldn't get any worse.

"Ughhh give me yours" I groan and take his but I'm surprised to see that her number is no longer available.

"She changed her number asher" he tells me leaning back in his chair. Why would she do that?

"What?" I ask my voice coming out barely in a whisper. So she actually left me? No no no, she would never leave me. Not again. But then reality starts to sink in. She did actually leave me after she promised she wouldn't. And that thought alone brought tears to my eyes.

"No no it can't be true u have never met her so how do you know??" I ask him. Noah has not really met Scarlett in person, he was planning to meet her tonight in the party but of course plans changed.

"Some girl called Charlotte told me Asher," he told me and I let out a broken noise. She really did leave and I'm all alone again.
