"Do it for your grades!" Gakushū kept reminding yourself. "Treat this as just a little experiment, like Ren suggested, yes that's it"

"Why are we at a bar Akabane?" Gakushū glared at the red head. "We're underage so we can't drink"

"Relax, we're just gonna drink root beer and play darts" Karma greeted the old bartender. "Hey old man"

"Oh, great you're here again?" The old man faced the two boys. "And it seems to me you dragged an innocent soul with ya"

"Innocent? Nah" he swung an arm around the strawberry blonde boy. "This guy here once got super drunk at a party that he ended up dancing on tables and kicking food around"

"Wha-Akabanae!" Gakushū burned red with embarrassment at the memory. "I'd like to keep that memory buried away at the back of my mind"

"Yea, so not so innocent" Karma ignored Gakushū.

"Whatever, just don't cause trouble again Karma" the old man gave them their root beer.

"Do you always come here?" Gakushū gave his root beer a suspicious look. His eyes wondered around the place. It was old and in need of new paint, but at the same time it had this strange welcoming and homey atmosphere.

The customers around were middle aged men, and a few college looking ones. Two men were playing chess in the far corner

While a young man played darts.

"So Asano-kun!" Karma sat him down on one of the stools. The red head sitting beside him. "What do you think?"

"Of the bar? Not bad. Needs a new paint job that's for sure, but it feels relaxing here" Gakushū took a sip of the root beer. It tasted like soda and Colgate combined(Author: I don't know about you guys but that's what root beer tasted for me the first time)

He made a face, but drank it anyway.

"Thought this would be a good place to do the project" Karma went on.

"What?" Gakushū faced Karma.

"It's relaxing, it's fun. No one from school to see us, the twins aren't here to distract us" Karma listed. "So what do you wanna know Asano-kun?" The red head took out a pen and notebook, much to Gakushū's surprise.

Gakushū stared at the red head, and then down at their root beer.

"Let's play never have I ever" Gakushū suggested.
