Y/n POV

Its been awhile since I've been to school but being back for a month has been so fun, but it sucks that I have like, three assessments. I got the script and it's for a movie, yay. It's called Fireflies (I made this up), it's about a girl that moves to a new school and she figures out the dark and scary things that go on in the school, if you couldn't tell it's a horror movie, it's based off the book Fireflies (again, I made this up). The girls name in Quin and she a Junior, that's grade 11, and she has a twin brother, his name is Joseph, he's a jock. She also may happen to fall in love with Brooklyn, another jock. I'm at home right now, it's a Saturday, I'm just doing more assessments yay, not really, but I'm distracted by a notification that popped up on my laptop, I got a new email, it's from my manager.

Hey y/n,

Just letting you know that the producer just started the casting process so except more emails soon, also they are looking for filming locations so if you do audition, you may have to leave Australia again. Ok have fun shooting the rest of Stranger Things

Well I kind of expected that, that's cool, I wonder who else their gonna look at casting. I've finished some of my assessments and I'm just reading the book for Fireflies, I'm like 100 pages in and it's really good, BEEP BEEP, I look o we at my phone and see that B/f/n texted me.

Thats cool, Paula and Maxene are close friends of my so this will be fun, I haven't talked to them in a while so this will be nice to catch up with them and some other friends.

Finns POV

It's been awhile since I've been in Vancouver and, wow I've missed it, we've done our show in Vancouver and now I'm chilling at home, with Nick streaming on Twitch "hey guys" Nick said but I'm busy reading Fireflies, y/n said a couple of days ago that was what she might get the part for was called, this book is really nice, I hope the script is interesting. Nick is talking to the chat when he taps my shoulder "Finn" Nick said looking at me "what?" I asked "what are you reading?" He asked back "oh, I'm this book Fireflies, y/n told me to read it" I said blushing at y/n's name. I was reading the chat and they were all positive comments, but of course there were some negative ones, I ignored them them and kept reading my book, I kept hearing Nick talk to the chat. We've been streaming for two hours and our parents said come down for dinner, my mum made fried rice "so Finn, how are you and y/n?" My dad asked "yea we're really good" I said happy "that's good" he said back "Finn do we need to have that talk with you?" My mum asked, I look at her confused then realise what she meant "oh god Mum! No, no, no!" I said grossed out, I saw Nick laughing and I hit him on the shoulder "are you sure? Your kind of at that age" Mum said again "no, no. I think I'm good" I said looking back my food and eating it, that was awkward.

We've finished dinner and I head into my room and strum with my guitars for awhile, I get kind of bored with that so I go onto my laptop, I noticed I had a email from my manager Ryan, wonder what that's about, I read through the email and it was talking about a new role opportunity, I looked closer at the name and it was for Fireflies, that's great, but it says it still in early stages so their will be many other people auditioning, that's still ok, that'd be awesome if we both got the role. I hear a knock at my door "come in" I said, I look over and see Nick walking towards me "hey" I said "hey" he said back. I look at him and ask "whatcha want?" "Oh nothing, can't I hang out with you" Nick said, I shrugged and walked over to my bed and began strumming the guitar again "what was that email about?" Nick asked looking from my laptop "just for a new role" I said "y/n also got that email" I said a little happier "speaking of y/n" Nick said, I sat up and looked at him "why'd you get grossed out when Mum asked you about, you know?" He asked, I roll my eyes "I don't know" I said grossed out just thinking about it "you know it's gonna happen one day" Nick said smirking "yea I know, just not now, y/n just turned 14" I replied very quickly "and, that doesn't change anything" Nick said "yes it does, we're so focused on so many different things right now, doing it or even talking about it would make things weird" I said annoyed "she probably doesn't even wanna to do it" I said laying back down in my bed "how do you know. You don't know what she thinks about, she's 14, ragging hormones, she's probably thinks about it" Nick said pretty sure "really?" I asked "maybe" Nick said back "have you?" He added, I stayed quiet, I'm unsure how it answer this "you have, haven't you?" Nick asked moving to sit in the edge of the bed "maybe" I said quietly "sorry" he said putting his hand to his ear "maybe" I said a lit louder "ooooo" Nick said "whatever" I said annoyed then sitting up again to face him "so you have?" He said eager to know "maybe. But, why do you need to know anyway?" I asked, he shrugged then walked out "is that why you came in here, just to talk about that?" I yelled to him "maybe" he yelled back, I rolled my eyes then lay back in the bed.

Again didn't know what to write so I write some cringy things, this is another filler so I'll make sure the last two chapters of this book are interesting, it's sad to see this book so close to ending, expect big things in book two
