Once again I am dragged to the wretched room.

Everything is a blur to me and I am trying my best to stand up straight but really all I want to do is crawl into a ball on the floor. My body was so weak and pale with dry blood everywhere I literally look like a walking zombie.

We reach the door and I walk in this time without being pushed to the floor. My eyes land on the Russian guy who still has a smirk on his face.  Also like last time he looks over my body as it is a piece of meat.

I shivered but am too tired to try anything so I stand there hoping he would either kill me already or just let me go.

"I would like you to meet a friend of mine darling," he said.

The door behind me squeaks open but I don't look back. I could care less of who the bastard was friends with.  I see a blur of black walking towards Russian guy and when he turns around my eyes go wide.

Asher was standing a few feet away from me with a black suit and scowl on his face. He was glaring at me like I did something horrible.

Even though he was giving me a deadly glare I couldn't help but feel a little hopeful that I would soon be out of here.

"Cahill,"  Asher said nodding at me.

I was too much in shock to say something back so I just stare at him.

"Oh good, you two know each other," Russian guy says clapping.

"I want her," Asher said cutting straight to the point.

Russian guy laughs and looks at him.

" I am serious Boris. How much do you want for her?"

Want for her?

Oh hell no.

Was he seriously buying me?!

"How much would you give Martinez?"

"Thousand."

Well isn't that lovely I am worth a thousand bucks to him.

Boris laughs again. "I am no idiot boy. I know she is worth way more than a thousand!"

"One million."

Okay, this is just getting ridiculous. They really had the fucking nerve to bargain me in front of ME!! I was about to say something but Asher gave me a glare that basically told me to shut the fuck up. I held my tongue but I glare right back at him.

"I know she is the key to the Tech," Boris says.

Wait how the hell does he know of the Tech?!

"Boris I am offering you more than what her brother took from you. If you want more than just name it," he says getting frustrated.

"I want the Tech and at least half of the money it will receive."

"Hell no," Asher replies with a stern voice.

"Well, then you won't get the girl."

"Fine keep the little bitch."

He starts walking out but Boris yells after him.

"This is  your last chance Martinez take her and give me what I want or you will never see her pretty face ever again."

He stares at me for a minute and I stare back with no emotion.

"She's not worth it."

Asher walks out and tears threaten to spill out but I won't let them.

I am not worth it.

He was right I am not worth the millions of deaths that would happen if he got a hold on the Tech. However, I thought he might fight for me at least.

Funny I know. Asher Martinz, fight for me. Hell would freeze over the day he does that.

I still had hope, though. I still had a tiny feeling deep inside me that someone could come back for me. Maybe Caleb would?

I know I shouldn't feel that way. It will only bring be despair when it doesn't come true but I still hoped. I was already in unbearable pain adding one more wouldn't hurt.

*********************************************************

I was wrong.

Days pass by and my hope slowly dies away. I was still in my prison dying away and hurt. This kind of pain breaks your core and once something breaks your core nothing can fix it. Your broken and you will always be broken.

Depression has slowly taken over my body and even though I wasn't suicidal I thought about how I could end my pain. If I kept up in not eating or drinking I would be dead in two days.

Two days of living.

Two.

I close my eyes and try to drift on to sleep but before I could the door swings open. Four men walk in with black clothes wrapped around their faces. Two men grab me, each on each side but this time, they were gentle.  They weren't rough like the last other time the men came for me usually to visit Boris. One of the men was standing in front of me and the other was behind me. It was like their trying to protect me....... or make sure I wasn't going to get out. Instead of taking the turn to Boris' room we went straight ahead.

Where are we going?

A rush of adrenaline goes over my body and the fist time in days I want to fight back. I kick the guy to my left making him fall over and I punch the guy on my right in his face. The guy in front tries to grab me but I quickly twist away. While I was trying to block the guy's hands a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

"Cahill calm down. You're going to blow our cover," Asher growls into my ear.

Asher?

I look at my bodyguards and each one of them unwraps their clothes. Sure enough, the men behind them were Asher, Raph, Leo, and Caleb.

They came for me?

"You have pretty strong hands, Thea," Caleb says while rubbing his face.

"And fucking strong legs," Leo yells as he rolls around the ground.

Raph helps him up and he makes a face full of disgust.

"What the fucking hell is this shit?!" Leo yells. He had the slimy green substance all around his pants and hands.

"This used to be a factory so probably something they used to manufacture back then," Raph says looking at substance.

"You guys came," I whisper.

"Don't flatter yourself Cahill. You still are needed to complete this mission," Asher says rolling his eyes.

I totally feel the love.

"Privet!"

A Russian man came into view and stares at us.

"Gde vy prinimayete zaklyuchennogo?"

"Master zaprosil, chtoby uvidet' yeye," Raph replies.

The guy didn't seem convinced of what Raph said so he continued to glare at us.

"Ya voz'my yeye togda."

"Ney, my budem brat' yeye," Raph says sternly.

"Ya vash nachal'nik! Vy dolzhny slushat'shy menya!"

He tries to grab me but Caleb blocks him from me. He looks like he was about to say something but Asher knocked him out by hitting his head with his gun.

"We need to get out of here. Everyone stick with the plan," Asher commands.

They all nod and we go our separate ways. Raph and Asher go to the left while Caleb, Leo, and I go to the right. We run for a couple of minutes and Caleb grabs me to run faster. We hear gun shots and yelling but we don't stop. Instead, we run faster until a couple of men appear in front of us. Caleb and Leo pull me towards a wall and duck behind it. They pull out their guns and start firing as I kneel down trying to block away the noises.

"Thea I need you to get up and go to the car located outside the building. Lock yourself in and don't let anyone in besides us. Go!" Caleb screams.

I nod my head and sneak my way around the wall. Once I was a safe distance away I spot a familiar figure on the side of my eyes.

The women that tortured me was standing a few feet away directly pointing a gun at me. She had an evil smile on her lips and her dark eyes stared into mine.

"Going somewhere?" She asked.

Choosing to ignore her I look around for anything to use to get out of this mess. A pole was laying a few inches away. Without thinking, I lunge for it and hurl it at the women. It took her by surprise so the bullet she fired completely missed me but I didn't miss her. The pole hit her across the face and she was groaning in pain on the floor. I kick her stomach and back making her hurt even more. Grabbing her hair I slam her body against the wall and let her fall forward to the ground. She slaps my face but I grab her hand after and twist it till I hear a break

"Karma's a bitch," I spit back before I hit her one more time knocking her out.

Quickly turning around I see Leo and Caleb staring at me in awe. I snap my finger in the air and they finally snap out of their trance. Caleb checks his watch and his eyes widen.

"We need to get out now!" He yells with urgency.

Turning around we run out of the building and sure enough, a car was waiting outside. Raph and Asher were leaning against it looking around for us when we emerged out of the building.

I smiled. I was finally free. The warm air ran past my pale skin and the sun shined so bright I felt like my eyes would be blind.

But there always seems to be a something that always ruins my happiness.

As soon as I felt the warm cold breeze and sun something exploded behind me. The impact made me fly through the air and land on the ground with a big thump. Heat rushed through my back as I landed on the floor and my lungs started closing in from all the smoke that clouded up the clear blue sky.

I could hear distant yelling and screams of my name but I couldn't fully understand.

My vision was starting to blur up and my breathing became more difficult. Blood from old to new wounds poured out into the ground coloring it a deep crimson color. Slowly the world became dark and I lost my vision as I enter the land of darkness.
