"Can't we just stay out here all night?" I whine, curling into Jackson's side even more.

"I wish," he sighs. "But I have to get home just in case something happens. You can come too."

"If Nikki sees us-"

"She won't," Jackson swipes his thumb across my cheek softly. "And if you think I'm going to let you go back to your moms, I officially think you don't know me."

I giggle. "Fine, I'll stay with you tonight."

"You were always going to," my boyfriend says matter of factly, switching me over to my seat and starting the car.

Our day has been very uneventful. After leaving my mom, we came to the park parking lot and hung out all day. Technically, we stayed in the cab of his truck talking, kissing and sleeping. I hadn't noticed how tired I was until falling asleep curled up with Jackson.

I watch the street lights pass as we head back to the Long household. I can't deny the fact that I want to see Nikki and talk to her, but Colten advised to give her space, so we will. It's going to be hard when she's really the only friend I have, but I'll do it for her. Especially if it means her forgiveness.

"I think she's asleep," Jackson whispers, locking the front door as I look around the quiet house. Colten is flung across the couch, his mouth hanging open with light snores and a recording of the Michigan game playing.

Walking over to the couch, I throw the blanket over him and aim towards the kitchen to fetch a glass of water.

"I'll meet you upstairs," Jackson calls and I nod.

I need him more now than ever. Maybe it isn't the smartest idea to sleep with him in the same house as his sister that currently hates us, but I can't help it. I've felt a bit calm all day due to him, yet I don't think I'll be able to fall asleep without him.

With this in mind, I finish my glass and head upstairs. I get ready for bed after Jackson, slinging on a shirt, I then head back to his room. Jackson is laying shirtless on the bed, his arms folded behind his head as he stares at the ceiling. The only light illuminating the room is a small lamp in the corner so it's enough to see his face. The worry. The sadness. The anger. And thoughtfulness.

"Didn't hear you come in," Jackson turns his head to me. Before I lose confidence, I stride over to the bed and swing my leg on the other side of his hip, straddling his torso. "What are you doing?"

Through the confusion, lust and need swirls in his iris's making me want him even more. I need him. Like my only personal shot of heroine, I need this man every second and minute of the day. I need his lips on my body, his hands on my skin, and his body molding into mine. I crave him.

"So much is on my mind," I breathe out, lifting my shirt over my head, revealing the bareness underneath. "I want it to stop, just for a little while."

"Brittni..." Jackson whispers, his eyes glueing to my naked chest, down my stomach and to my panties. "You'll have to be quiet."

"I know," I nod and in one swift motion, I'm on my back with my panties strewn across the room. I gasp in surprise, drawing Jackson's attention.

"Mm, baby," he bites his lip sexily, his finger running along my soaking core. "You're soaking, already."

I moan quietly, my mind in a haze as he stares at me hungrily. I try to close my legs when his finger touches my sensitive bud, but Jackson forces them back open.

"Keep your legs open for me, baby," he breathes, getting off the bed to slip out of his boxers and grab a condom.

Birth control. Birth control. Need to remember to do that tomorrow. I know he doesn't like the rubber barrier and honestly, I would love to feel him without it as well.

"As much as I want you hear you scream my name," he grunts, positioning himself between my legs and rubbing his shaft along my wetness. "I don't want to wake the others in the house."

I nod, my legs wrapping around his waist to speed up his destination.

"Eager," he rasps before slowly easing into me.

My head falls back against the pillows and I have to bite my hand to keep from screaming out his name. God do I want to scream his name.

"Fucking Christ," Jackson grunts, his pace slow as he thrusts in and out of me. My teeth dig into my skin even more at the torturous pace, feeling him everywhere inside of me.

I moan into my hand the quietest I've ever done it before and raise my hips to meet his thrusts.

"Brittni..." He breathes, his forehead falling to my shoulder where his lips meet my skin at such little rotations of his hips.

I'm left to feel the pleasure all on my own until Jax raises his head and plants his lips to mine. A particularly deep thrust is made and I now realize why he decided to kiss me. I'm about to cry out in ecstasy when Jackson bites my bottom lip, drawing my attention to that.

Our tongues mingle naughtily, our hips rocking into each other as Jackson swallows my moans. It's a good thing to or else I wouldn't be able to hold back myself.

"Shit, I'm going to come," Jackson rasps, our high's slowly consuming us. His eyes practically roll to the back of his head as I let go, his climax not falling to far behind. Jackson keeps driving in and out of me until we're both spent. "Is it just me or was that more exciting than most times?"

I shake my head. It isn't just him. I think it's because we had to be quiet due to Nikki being in the house that made it so thrilling. Not that I want to make this a daily thing, but it was amazing.

"I love you, baby," Jackson kisses my forehead. I didn't even notice him dispose the condom before the lamp is turned off, our bodies consumed into darkness.

"I love you."

When the sun finally appears through the white blinds of Jackson's room, I don't get up like I usually would, I just lay there with my eyes trained on the ceiling.

Jackson lays next to me in sleep, his arms wrapped around my waist with his head in the crook of my neck.

Yesterday seems like a blur, I know what happened, but I can't determine the timing of it all.

I don't know if I'll see Nikki today or at all, but I'm hoping to. Maybe not to talk, but to at least make sure she's okay.

"Morning," Jackson wakes up out of nowhere making me jump slightly. "How'd you sleep?"

I look up at him as he runs a hand through his hair. "Good."

"Good," he smiles and pecks my forehead before climbing out of bed in all his naked glory. I forgot we never got dressed after last night. "No need to stare, baby."

I roll my eyes and stand up as well. Smirking, I see Jackson's eyes take my body in.

"No need to stare, baby," I comeback, reaching for one of his shirts.

He clears his throat, drawing my attention. "What do you say to a date today?"

This immediately draws me out of the gloomy mood I was in. "A date?"

"Yeah," he looks away, obviously embarrassed. "We haven't actually gone on one, but if you don't want to that's fine."

I bite my lip to keep the raging grin off my face. "Yeah, that'd be cool."

"Cool," he nods.

After driving me back to my house for a quick shower and a change of clothes, we're back on the road heading to god knows where.

"Jackson," I whine, throwing my head against the cushion of the seat.

"Brittni," he mocks with a smirk. His window is rolled down and his left arm is against the door, one hand on the steering wheel. He looks gorgeous with the wind blowing through his hair and the sun light illuminating his face.

"What's taking so long? And why am I seeing plains of cattle and crops?" If you can't tell, I'm horribly confused.

Jackson laughs, obviously finding my confusion funny. I don't find it even remotely humorous.

"We're in Howell," he tells me, the nasty smell of cows blows in through the windows making me cringe.

"Why?" Not being rude, but why did we drive forty minutes to be where the corn grows?

"You'll see," he smiles mischievously.

"You're not bringing me here to kill me, right?" I question somewhat serious.

"If you're talking about me fucking you," he glances at me. "Then maybe."

"Nice to know," I breathe out, a slow blush rising on my cheeks.

Jackson turns on a dirt road that is mostly vacant. It runs the length of many corn fields and wheat. It's beautiful.

I've never been to the country before, I'm more of a city type of girl, so this is all new. But this place has a calming effect that Lincoln Park doesn't have. It's refreshing.

"We're here," my boyfriend informs me as we pull to a stop.

"We're on a hill," I raise an eyebrow. Even I can't pretend that through the sick country feel, this hill is amazing. It's pretty tall, over looking acres of farm land, with a small tree at the top. The sun shines without the bother of clouds and it's just beautiful.

"Yep," he nods and gets out of the truck. Biting my lip, I too get out of the car and stay at the front until Jackson walks around. He now has a picnic basket and a blanket in his hands. "Let's go, baby."

I grab his hand and follow him up to under the tree where light shines through slightly.

I help Jackson lay down the blanket, both of us laughing when the wind picks it up making the task way more difficult.

"This is amazing," I gush, over looking the bright fall day.

"I know right," Jackson beams, handing me a Subway sandwich that he must've got when I was in the shower.

"How did you find this place?" I question, taking a bite from my lunch. Never skipping breakfast again.

"My aunt used to live out here," he explains. "We never really visited her that much, but when we did, she used to take Nikki and me up here. She would make this amazing homemade lunch and we'd be up here for hours."

Jackson smiles, obviously stuck in the memory as a child. I don't know much about the Longs' childhood, but from what I've heard, it wasn't an amazing one. Like mine, they didn't have there parents with them at all times. The difference with me is that the first few years of my life were happy. I had my mom and dad who seemed deeply in love. We used to go to the park and just be a family. I miss it.

"Where does she live now?" I ask him, immediately regretting it when I see his face harden.

"She's dead."
