We arrived at the pack house and it's way to full. Jesus the people are locking lips like there's no tomorrow,but then again maybe it's their mates. I walk around arm in arm with Justin and his sniffing the air like a crazy dude trying to look for his mate. He looks disappointed that she's not here. Shit,but my mate is here and his lip-locking with my sister and it makes me furious. I just want to go over there and claim him as mine.

I turn to look at Justin and ask him, "Promise me something,tonight if we don't find our mates we'll run away together to the Bahamas and makes lots of babies Justin?" He looks at me with a huge grin on his face. "Shit I was thinking the same idea Tammy,but I promise you that we'll run away from this place. I don't know about the babies though but we can try and take things slow,okay?"
"Yeah sure I'm down with that." I look at him and smile and he kisses me on my forehead and I hear a low growl and it sends shivers down my spine.

Goddamn mate bond is getting stronger by the fucking second. Justin takes my hand in his and we walk into the hall. Alpha Stephen standing in front with my sister on his arm and I can feel myself about to cry. He speaks up to everyone. "Evening everyone and welcome to the mating ceremony. Some of you will find your mate and be happy for the rest of your life." He turns to look at me "And some of you will get rejected and be miserable as time passes. Without a further a do let the ceremony begin."

Justin lets go of my hand and smiles at me. "You got this Tammy,I have faith that you'll find your mate tonight and if we both don't find our mates tonight then we'll run away,okay Tam?"

"Yeah,yeah okay go on then go find the love of your life." I tell him and he smiles at me. He walks away and i walk to the pack garden and it's really beautiful. All the different kinds of flowers but my personal favourite is the black roses. I bend down and picked one up and smelled it. Goddess it smells good.

I turn around and bump into a wall,no scratch that,a really hard and firm chest. I look up and see that it's Stephen. I look into this grey eyes and he looks into my oceans blue eyes. Fuck this guy will be the death of me. I smile at myself,but that smile falls away as i hear him say the next words"I Alpha Stephen James reject thee Tammy Samuels as my mate." And that's when my world shattered into a million piece.Getting rejected by your mate is the worst thing possible,but I don't show that I'm affected by him so I tell him the same,"I Tammy Samuels reject thee Alpha Stephen James as my mate." I looked into his eyes and all I saw is the hurt.

Yeah shit face now you know how i feel. I put my hand on his shoulder and pat him softly and i feel the sparks but I ignore it. "Well,it was nice while it lasted but ima head outta here cause i don't wanna see your shitty face." I drop my hand and walk away from him. "Don't you dare walk away from me Tammy." I turn around and look at his face,"Oh...watch me Stephen." I tell him and walk away. I pull my phone from my back packet and text Justin that I'm going home cause my mate rejected me and if he needed me he'll get me in the bedroom. I sent him the text and walked home.
