I felt really bad for what Nathan said, I cried for two hours, normally I don't care about the horrors my brother said to me. But this time it touched me deep inside, where it hurts. They all wish I was dead! They hate me! My brothers hate me! Is not my fault, I can't help but feel guilty.

I didn't mean to snitch on Nathan, it was all a mistake. What happened was Mrs Felix asking me to identify the signature on the detention slip, I told her it was fake, I swear I didn't know Nathan forge, I thought ugh! Now that doesn't matter anymore. I need to fix it all.

I grabbed my phone and did what I have to be done, I called Melinda, I got her number from one of my fan girl. in exchange of a kiss on the cheek. Disgusting huh?

"Hi Melinda."

"Hello who is this?"

"Is Christopher Jackson."

"Oh the brother of Stephen right?" She spoke with so much disappointment.

"Yeah, what I'm about to ask you might sound stupid, but try not to see it that way."

"I'll see."

"Well, will you accept another proposal from Nathaniel?"

"No, the last time he cancel our date, just because he had an important thing to do!" She scoff.

"He lied to you, he was grounded cause of me." I sigh

"How?"

"Uh, he forged a signature on a detention slip just because he wanted to date you, then I snitched, it was a big mistake I swear!"

"Then he was grounded." She completed.

"Yeah. I'm feeling terribly guilty for what I did, intentional or unintentional."

"Why didn't he tell me?"

"Cause is embarrassing." I said, there was a long pause on the other line.

"Okay."

"Oh my god! You accept, uh, one more thing, you have to come here, he is still grounded."

"How are we gonna do?"

"You have to come here I'll prepared everything."

She sigh but chuckle, "you really wanna be forgiven."

"Um, if is possible, I just want to be guilt-free."

"Fine I'll be there at 12 pm."

"Thank you very much!" I hung up, I raced to Henry's chamber and we organized a romantic dinner.

Henry convinced Nathan to go to the garden just in time to see Melinda.

Henry and I left so they could have a little privacy.

Just before Melinda left I met her outside the gate.

"Thank you once again for coming, you just lift a big weight off my shoulders."

"Aww, you're so cute, your brothers must be really happy to have you as their little brother."

"I can still dream," I mumbled, "the driver will drop you off." I pointed at the black jeep.

"That's not necessary." She said.

"No miss, I'm oblige to drop you off." I smiled, she sigh before smiling.

"Fine, see ya!" She wave as the jeep drove off.

I walk back to the house, I was chatting with Tina on my cell while walking, I bump into someone.

Nathan stood blocking my path with his arms crossed. "What the hell were you doing with Melinda?"

I ignore him and keep chatting as I tried to by pass him.

He grab my arm yanking me back to my previous spot.

"Don't ever ignore me!" He growled.

I finally looked at him.

"I asked you a questions! Are you trying to steal her like you stole Zack's girl?! little bitch."

I huff as I rub my temples, "no" I simply said.

"What were you doing with her then?" He glared at me.

"I was just saying goodbye."

"You don't even know her!"

"I'm tired with this questions and answers section! Move! I need to get ready for riding practice!" I half yelled, my phone buzzed, it was a message from Tina.

He snatch my phone from my grasp, and read my messages his face going from angry to mockery.

He laughs, "now you have a girlfriend, that's a good one, but you know the rules babies can't date."

I snatch my phone back, "I never said she was my girlfriend." Oh yeah I was lying after our first kiss we've been dating everyone in the riding school knows about it even our tutor Mr James. I might be breaking a rule but I can't help it, I love her.

"Oh really but this messages denies your words." He raised his brows.

I frown, "whatever." I brush pass him.

Nathan is such an ingrate, after all I did for him, he still bullies me, even if he knew about it he won't believe me. I can't tell him I organized his date, I'm not the type that boast.

I'm tired of my brothers! I need to get away from here, maybe I should go visit Brian, he's been distant with me this past weeks.

I grabbed my jacket, enter my car and drove to Brian's house.

I knock on the door, and waited for a few second before it was pulled opened. I was greeted by the delicious smell of cookies.

"Hello Mrs Thomas." I greeted with a smile.

"Hello Christopher," she smiled warmly at me. Mrs Thomas is a very kind lady with black hair and grey eyes, and three kids, she can be hash sometimes, she is more like a mother to me.

"That smells good." I complimented as I sniff the air.

"You can have some once I'm done with baking."

"Is Brian home?"

"Fortunately yes, lately he's been spending too much time in your house, he always come back late and exhausted, he said he was with you." She walk to the kitchen pulling the cookies out of the microwave.

Brian is up to something, he never came to my house, he is lying to his parents, if his father finds out he'll be severely belted.

"Uh, yeah." I chuckled nervously, "we love spending time together is always special." I followed her to the kitchen.

"I know, you two are so cute when you're together, here," she gave me a tray with a plate full of cookies and two cups of milk.

"Thanks Mrs Thomas, I'll be heading upstairs now." I walked in Brian's room uninvited, he was seating on his bed with his phone typing.

"Hey Bri!"

"Uh, Chris? What are you doing here?" He sounded nervous.

"I came to visit a certain Brian Thomas, he is missing me." I set the tray on his nightstand.

"Oh, you didn't tell that to my mother, did you?" He sat up.

"No, but why?"

"Uh, nothing just like that." He smiled a quick and shot smile. Lying on my face that's not polite but I'll zip up for the moment.

I sat on the foot of his bed.

"What is wrong with you?" He asked as he reach for a cookie on his nightstand.

"Recently I've been going through mess you know, I feel an emptiness deep down." I sigh.

"You need to man up and face the truth." He said carelessly as he typed on his phone.

"Were you listening Brian?" I asked.

"Yeah, go ahead keep speaking." He smiled at me.

"Well I was saying, I think am suffering from lack of love, I don't have a mother, my siblings all hate me and father is always busy, I only receive love from Fred, he-" Brian started laughing interrupting my confession. 

I got up and snatch his phone, there it was, he was chatting with Jesse and Cameron! I read all their messages totally ignoring Brian's protest.

I felt sad, angry, stupid, ignored, and MAD! I chuckle silently.

"I was talking to you." I said softly.

"I was listen about your brothers again! I'm tired of you talking about them all the time!" He threw his hands in exasperation.

"I wasn't talking about my brothers, but my feelings." I said softly.

"I-i was busy okay?" He argued.

I sigh in anger. "you promise me that this Cameron and Jesse stuff won't affect our relationship."

"Yeah, and it's not."

"Lies! Bloody fucking lies! Since you became friends with them everything change! First you lied to me about the party, then you made a stupid excuse for not visiting me, you lied to your parents! Then you lied to me more than three times today! And you totally ignored me!" I pant. "You promise Brian."

"I'm still sticking to my promise."

"Stop lying, you broke that promise long ago! Ever since you became friends with them you're shoving me aside!"

"I'm not! Okay? just that at times I do cool stuff with them."

I chuckle as I turn around, "you sound like my brothers, now I'm uncool! Now I'm a little kid! Now I'm nothing to you!"

"I didn't say that."

"Shut the fuck up! When I'm talking you listen! Your two new cool friends maybe nice now but later you'll regret it dearly, you can do whatever fuck pleases you, but guess what?"

"You're taking it too far."

"I'm done with this friendship! Everything is over, you sacrificed our friendship for them, well go ahead have fun with your cool friends!" I threw his phone on the bed before stomping away.

"Goodbye Mrs Thomas." I said as I made my way for the door.

"Brian is everything okay?" She said to him as soon as he came down.

I slam the door of my car and we drove off.

Why did Brian do this to me? I loved him! He was more like a big brother than a friend! But he made his choice, he left me.

Sorry for this sad part but is part of the book, hold on tight next chapter will be rough but I promise is the last sad chapter in this book.
