Ariana POV

I heard that once you reach 11 years. Then you will get an admission letter from hogwarts but i got nothing. But I'm not gonna be anxious because Hermione will definitely get her letter in cannon. So i will get one too. As months passed by i was almost reaching 12 years but then suddenly we both got our letters by post .

I saw a cat looking at me then i thought about the cat animegus prof. Minerva Mcgonagall. Even though i know she is a cat version of a professor.
I still wanna pet the cat. So i looked either side of the road and made sure that no one was watching, then did a wand less transfiguration and turned the paper into bowl . I went inside the house and immediately took out the cooked fish from my cooking game and put infront of the cat animegus. At first cat looked at me and the bowl. I thought as a teacher she will walk away but instead when she smelled the fish. She immediately gobbeled up all the fish. In the meantime i petted her. After realising what she did, her tail immediately became straight. With a stiff body, she looked at me and then ran away into the street corner . I just smirked and went inside the house .

I was excited to open the letter for the first time in my life. until now, life is still a bit unreal to me. But by reading this letter. I'm slowly accepting the reality. I showed it to my sister Hermione, she showed suprised look as she realises there's magic 🪄 school 🏫. We both showed the letters to my parents.

My dad laughed and asked me

"Yes, i do dad like queen Elsa in frozen book" i replied childishly with a little bit of guilt in my heart. I know a lot of things but i Never told my family. I don't wanna be a freak or be called mentally unstable. But I'm planning to tell them half the truth.

Mom looked at hermoine and sighed but tried to explain to us by saying "There's no such thing as magic,you both shouldn't be fooled by a silly letter"

Hermione looked at me and i just gave a nod to her . She took a deep breath and said " mom ,we both have to show you something."

Then i started levitating the water jar and poured a glass of water to both my parents.
They were surprised when Hermione handed them a glass of water by levitating it.

My mom said "i always noticed whenever something strange happened in the house but i Never thought that you would both have this power or magic."

Then they started asking all the questions and about why we didn't informed them .
Hermione and i just felt guilty so we said sorry. Then suddenly some one knocked on the door.

"Knock knock knock "

Minerva Mcgonagall saw my dad who opened the door and asked "you must be Mr . Granger, nice to meet you.
I was standing beside my sister and looked at the professor as if I didn't know her.

Her face became stiff when saw me but still gave a smile to my dad and introduced herself by saying "my name is Minerva Mcgonagall and I'm deputy headmistress of hogwarts school of witchcraft And wizardry "

Then everything goes same as in the movie. My parents were convinced and decided to send us to hogwarts. Mcgonagall strongly suggested me to enter gryffindor. I knew she had a grudge on me for treating her like a cat but was very surprised with her professionalism . Now i know the reason why Hermione choose gryffindor over ravenclaw . She almost brainwashed us into thinking that gryffindor is great. Hermione still believed in her words just like in the movie.we decided to go to daigon ally tomorrow after we arranged enough money to do shopping .
