"I need to see her," I mumbled.

"Why?" Ray asked me a question. When he noticed my silence, Ray clenched his fist. "You know that she was ready to ship you out. She let the other children be killed. She won't even hesitate to sacrifice more if it means living longer..."

"Ray--"

"I'm not saying that I'm not like her, after all, we're the same kind," Ray paused. He retracted his gaze from me. I can see the guilt on his face.  "We're both monst---"

"Ray! Stop saying that!" I shouted.

I bit my lips as I took a deep sigh.

Mama Isabella... I can't let her alone, right?

As Y/N, I hated and sympathize with Isabella knowing that her life is full of tragedy, but as Conny, I loved Mama Isabella as my mother.

As the Conny that Isabella raised, I know that she was ready to sacrifice me for her safety and I felt betrayed, but remembering the kindness and knowing her own sufferings from my previous life, how can I let her alone knowing that she'll suffer more?

I need to survive, but I won't survive without Mama Isabella.

Therefore I need to come back for her.

"I'll save mom no matter what," I told him as I took a deep sigh. "Do not worry about me, just focus on your own goal. You know that the facility will come looking for you and the other children. Maybe soon, we will also receive a command to catch you."

"Hah... I can sense that you're going to do something dumb again," Ray mumbled before brushing his hair in frustration.

"You're so mean Ray," I told him with a facepalm.

"Mean? I am telling the truth," He said. "When you left the Orphanage, you told me that we need to save you, but now that you're given a chance to escape with us, you'll choose to go back to that place. Aren't you an idiot?"

"Geez, can't you trust me? I'm not doing things blindly okay?" I told him. " And if you're worried about me, just tell me directly. I can still remember that you cried when I left the Orphanage---OUCH! you hit me again!"

"Who's crying for who, Idiot?" Ray asked.

I pouted my lips while caressing my head. I know that the boink on my head is not that painful, but I can't help but feel remorse for this brat!

Tsundere!

Where did you get that personality, huh?

Ray took a deep sigh before crossing his arms. He sat on a large stone as his eyes fell to the round.

"Going back to that place is too dangerous... Even if you're privileged, that place is too cruel for you. Maybe you haven't experienced the extent of cruelness in that place, but once you felt that you're powerless, you will slowly start to hate yourself."

Ray is speaking from his own experience...

He's probably right...

I've never experienced... that extent of cruelness in the facility... yet.

I've never witnessed someone else's death and thinking that someone I know might die because I'm powerless is scary...

One of the greatest examples is the children that will die today in Goldy Pond. I ran away without looking back because I was afraid to witness their hopeless deaths... I am powerless because I can't do anything about it.

This is why I look up to Emma...

The things that I can't do... She'll do it...

"Conny... Don't come back to the facility and come with us," Ray told me with seriousness in his voice. "Emma and Norman wanted to see you, whatever plan you are planning inside that facility... Throw it away, we can always think of an alternative..."

I bit my lips before looking at the sky up above.

The night is nearing... It'll be dangerous for us if we stay here.

"It's not like I really want to go back..." I paused. My eyes suddenly darted at the appearing moon in the sky. I suddenly glanced at Ray who had a serious look on his face.

"Okay, Let me think about it."

"Then let's look for Emma and Norman," Ray replied to me.

"WAIT!" I shouted.

I immediately placed my hand on the pocket of my lolita mom-in-training uniform and took out a bottle from it. My eyes darted at the Golden water that I took from the Goldy Pond three days ago.

"What is that...?"

"Can I try something first? I'll decide if I'll come with you after doing my business," I told him before looking up to the sky. "Ray, I have a question for you first, you do know from my notebook that there is a world where Demons don't exist, right?"

"I do..." Ray replied with a serious face. "And I wanted to question you about that."

"Do that later," I told him as I motioned my hands. "Anyway, Now that you know about that 'world'... would you like to see it for yourself?"

"What...?" He suddenly asked with a facepalm.

"Let's go meet the Demon God today," I told to Ray before glancing at the Vida flower nearby. "Let's talk to Him."

Vida flower, the moon, and the golden water.

I already have what I need for the ritual, all I have to do is to meet Him and try to create another promise. If I succeeded with this one, no more deaths and no more escapes will come.

You're will let me enter... right?

••••••••••••••

Ray observed Conny when she plucked an unfamiliar flower from the ground. The little girl glanced at the dimmed sky slowly turning into night. She suddenly placed the jar with golden water on the ground as she glanced at Ray.

"Are you willing to spill some blood?" Conny suddenly asked Ray as she took out a pocket knife from her pocket. "Actually... I don't know if this is going to work since I've never actually seen the seven walls."

"I'm not sure what are you trying to do, but nothing's gonna lose if we try it," Ray replied to Conny as he took the knife in her hands. "Tell me what to do and I'll trust you," He said.

Conny nodded her head with a determined face.

She opened the lid of jar.

"I need a drop of your blood and my blood in this water, after that, leave everything to me," Conny told him as she clenched her fist from nervous. "We have to do this before Mr. Lerin comes back here. We need to hurry."

After hearing Conny's instructions, Ray sliced his palm without any hesitation. Conny gasped a little when she saw Ray's blood, but she quickly regained her composure when Ray gave her the knife.

Conny took a deep sigh before doing the same thing as Ray, the little girl bit her lips and winced in pain as the blood flowed in her little hands.

"Ouch..." Conny mumbled with a teary eyes. She suddenly raised her head when felt a pat from Ray who was trying to console her.  Conny smiled at him. "Now, let's drop our blood into the water," she said.

Both of them placed their hands on top of the jar. Their crimson blood flowed from their hands and ended up dropping into the golden water.

Conny immediately took the two Vida flowers from the ground and dipped their stem in the jar where their blood is. Her eyes darted at the crimson flowers as they started to bloom beautifully.

"What comes next?" Ray asked her.

"Let's wait---"

Before Conny finished her sentence, both of them suddenly disappeared from the forest.

There was no trace of them.

The only thing that was left at that moment was the jar of golden water along with the fully bloomed Vida flower.

Ray just found himself standing in front of a large door.

He doesn't know what was happening, but the first thing that he did was look for Conny. When he found the Little girl who was currently observing the large door, he breathed in relief.

Ray walked towards Conny as he stand beside her. His eyes narrowed to the large door as he also observed the unfamiliar design of the door. Ray suddenly saw familiar characters in the middle of the door.

"Hereafter once you enter, you cannot return," Ray recited the writings. His hand touched the characters. "If you want to return now, open this door from the other side to go back."

"Welcome to the Entrance."

"It was exactly how they describe it," Conny mumbled to herself. "I never expected that this will actually work."

"Where are we now?" Ray asked.

"I don't exactly know either, but behind this door is the God of Demons," Conny started to explain to Ray. "The story is too long, but they said that if we are able to make another promise with Him, we might be able to put an end to that farm and go to the human world."

Conny was about to push the door but Ray suddenly stopped her. She glanced at Ray with a confused face.

"Can we trust him?" Ray asked her.

"Probably...?" Conny mumbled before scratching her head. "But I know that we can trust the 'Promise'. Do not worry and trust me, I think this is also the perfect time for you to know everything."

"About the book?"

"Not just about the book, but also about me," Conny told him before giggling. "You are privileged because you're about to know something important."

Ray frowned as he took a deep sigh.

"Fine," Ray yielded as he stand behind Conny. He suddenly placed her hands on both sides of the door which made Conny surprised. "I'll trust your plan, so lead me the way," He mumbled before pushing the door.

After that, both of them entered His realm.

••••••••••••••

BEEEEP!

"DAMN IT! Bakit kasi nakaharang sa daan? Nagpapakamatay ka ba?" (DAMN IT! Why are you blocking the road? Are trying to get yourself killed?!)

Ray flinched as soon as he heard that unfamiliar language. His eyes suddenly went wide as soon as he saw a car that was in front of him. He jolted his body in shock and fell to the ground, what was happening?

Where is he?

What is this place?

Where's Conny?

His eyes scanned the place and saw a crowd of people looking at him. There were children, there are teens... and there was an Adult.

The things that he can only see in books are present in this place, cars, roads, phones, streetlights, buildings, and so on. These are the things that he wished to see with his eyes eversince he was a child.

Everything was familiar yet unfamiliar to him... except for one thing.

"Hoy! Nakikinig ka ba?" (Hey! Are you listening?)

The Language.

Ray was about to speak when someone suddenly pulled his arms and helped him to stand up. He doesn't who it was but he knew that it was a pretty girl.

The girl was wearing an unfamiliar uniform. She has long black hair and she was only a little taller than him. The Girl suddenly placed him behind her back as if trying to protect him from the driver of the car.

"Manong, green light oh, pwedeng tumawid! Bulag ka ba?" (Old man, it's a green light, it means he can cross the roads! Are you blind?) The girl suddenly spoke. "Geez, of all scenes to take place, why does it have to happen here?"

Ray remained silent as he observed the girl's behavior, seeing that she can speak his language, which means that he can have a conversation with her.

Who is this girl? Based on her height and body, her age must be somewhere between 14 or 15...?

Little did he know that the woman was actually 17 and she was just too small. If the girl heard what was in his mind, she'll feel really upset.

"Never mind it, let's go, Ray!" The mysterious girl shouted.

She knows him.

The woman suddenly pulled him away from that place without any hesitations. The driver shouted at them when he saw them walking away from him but luckily, he didn't bother to follow them.

Ray who was a little confused followed the unfamiliar woman.

"Who are you? Do you know where I am?" Ray questioned her.

The mysterious girl suddenly stopped walking upon hearing that question. A wind suddenly came in their direction which fluttered her long black hair.

"This is the realm of the Demon God, but it is currently replaying one of my most unforgettable memories in the world of humans," the mysterious woman spoke. "In this place... you can probably call me Y/N..."

Upon hearing the word 'Demon God', Ray alerted himself as he took a step away from the black-haired woman.

"How did you know me?" Ray asked as he clenched his fist. He wanted to ask her a lot of questions about this place, but for now, he needs to be careful. "Are you the Demon God?"

The woman giggled.

Y'N glanced at Ray with a bright smile on her face.

"Geez, I know that you won't recognize me, Ray," Y/N mumbled before taking a deep sigh. She suddenly caressed her white neck before scratching her cheeks. "48294..."

Ray was dumbfounded when he heard that familiar numbers.

Those numbers... It can't be!

"My name here is Y/N, But in your world, you can call me..."

"Conny."

WHAT?!

••••••••••

Lol, I don't know what I'm doing anymore.
