Did you know that reading Conny's notebook feels like reading major spoilers?

Don't hate Norway too much, Sasuke will avenge Conwell's notebook ( •̀ .̫ •́ )✧

••••••••

"What have you done?!" Ray asked as he gritted his teeth.

He immediately grabbed the burning notebook in Norman's hand while trying to put off the fire. However, it is all too late because the notebook is almost unrecognizable.

Ray couldn't help but to glare at Norman.

The boy couldn't help but to grab Norman's collar while showing him his angered look.

"Why did you burn it?!" Ray asked angrily and it made him angrier when he saw the calm expression on Norman's face. "Don't show me that kind of stupid face," Ray tightened his grip on Norman's collar.

He could understand what Norman felt when he said he don't want to rely on the notebook but burning it was unreasonable!

Ray is confident that Conny placed her efforts while making that book, considering the content and the details when she wrote that, everything about that book is pure effort.

Norman took a deep sigh as he avoided Ray's gaze.

He calmly took off Ray's hand in his collar but he failed to do that because Ray's grip is too tight.

"Safety measures--"

PAK!

Norman suddenly felt a large impact on his right cheek. His eyes went wide when he almost went out of balance. Feeling the pain in his cheeks, Norman couldn't help but caress his own cheek.

Ray slapped him...

Ray.

Slapped.

Him.

The Platinum-haired boy raised his gaze at the angered Ray. He could feel the sting on his cheek and the piercing gaze from the raven-haired boy.

Ray's gaze went in Norman's direction while massaging the hand that he used to slap Norman. While massaging his hand his eyes darted at the big red mark on Norman's cheek.

Did he use too much force?

Ray could still feel Norman's face in his palm.

"You seriously slapped me," Norman mumbled while massaging his cheek. "You use your force so well," he told him.

Ray clicked his tongue before turning his back on Norman.

He immediately picked up the burned notebook on the floor as he went in his bed's direction. Ray stared at the notebook for a moment before carefully placing it on his bed.

"You are seriously an idiot," Ray told to Norman. "I don't know the exact reason for you to burn the notebook but you went overboard."

Norman took a deep sigh.

"I never meant it that way," Norman replied to Ray. "The contents of the notebook are too dangerous to be left alone, just like what I told you, it's like that notebook knows the future."

Ray became silent as he continued to massage his hand.

"If Mom finds it out, it'll be very dangerous," Norman told to Ray. "Although the contents are coded, there is no guarantee that Mom won't be able to decode it. Trial and Error is the key to identify the code that Conny used in that notebook.."

"You have to remember that Mom is smart, If Mom identified the basic pattern of Katipunan Code, then it's only a matter of time for her to decode the whole notebook. This is only a safety measure."

Ray frowned while listening to Norman.

He hates to admit it, but Norman is correct.

Katipunan code might not be known in their orphanage, but it doesn't mean that it can't be identified by another person. This code is actually a simple code if you try to understand its structure.

There are 28 letter's in Katipunan code. The code used Spanish Alphabet that has 27 letters, and add (LL) to make it 28. The vowels of the code are the symbols (+, -, x, :, +), while the consonants are  23-1 which was labeled as from B-Z.

Its pattern is predictable as long as you are able to understand it.

Norman mentioned that they will execute their escape plan tomorrow, if their plan failed and Isabella finds out about the notebook, she will definitely confiscate it, which is very dangerous for them.

If that happens, there is no way that they would be able to escape.

Burning the notebook is a better option for safety measures.

But escape...

Tomorrow?

Wait what?

Ray's eyes went to Norman when he realized something. He was too preoccupied when Norman burned the notebook.

What?

ESCAPE TOMORROW?

"You don't have to worry, every information is stored in my head," Norman assured Ray. "But I won't rely on it completely, I want to gain the other information through experience. Call me selfish all you want,  but I don't regret burning it."

Ray glared at Norman.

"Stupid," Ray mumbled. "You can gain information through an experience all you want, but you know that it wasn't the reason why I'm angry."

Norman avoided to Ray's glares.

"You burned it without consulting me and Emma. You burned Conny's effort," Ray crossed his arms. His forehead has small wrinkles. "Thinking about it is making my blood boil."

"I'm sorry," Norman mumbled as he glanced at the notebook that he burned.

'Although my cheek stings, I don't really regret it.'

A mysterious smile appeared on Norman's lips.

'Because I know that I did you a favor, Conny.'

Erasing the unusual traces...

A smirk appeared on Ray's face as he stared at Norman with a sharp gaze. Norman suddenly felt chills in his body.

"Tell that to Emma," Ray told him using his mischievous tone. "That you burn Conny's notebook."

Norman's pale face became paler as soon as he heard it.

A nervous smile appeared on his lips as he unconsciously scratch the back of his head.

"I-I'll tell her..." Norman nervously replied. "Of course..."

Ray stared intently at Norman.

"Good luck," Ray smirked.

"But before that, let's discuss the plan," Ray said with a serious tone. He clasped both of his hands as he leaned his body. "What do you mean by escaping tomorrow? You are not saying this out of excitement, do you?"

Norman glanced at Ray for a moment.

"Of course," Norman replied with a smile. "Just like what I told you, we will escape tomorrow."

••••••••

In the corridors of Gracefield's Orphanage bedrooms, there was a two little children that were spying on the conversation between Norman and Ray.

"Phil, Gossiping is bad, but I think this is starting to become cool and amazing," Said Sherry who was hiding with Phil behind the door.

"Shh, we're not gossiping, we are spying," Phil corrected Sherry.

"Huh? What is the red mark on Norman's cheek?" Sherry pointed at Norman's swollen cheek. "A handprint? Did someone fight with Norman?"

Sherry worriedly glanced at Norman's cheek. She was wondering what happened to Norman, but she and Phil are currently playing Spies.

Phil who has a small frown on his forehead hushed Sherry.

"Two," Phil mumbled while peeking in the small gap of the door.

His eyes went to Norman who has a red mark on his cheek before glancing at the familiar burned notebook in Ray's bed. His usual cute poker face became serious when he noticed these details.

Both of them didn't know what happened earlier, but Phil could already picture what happen through deductions.

Sherry tilted her head. "Two?" She asked Phil.

"Supposed to be two slaps."
