"Excellent," Norman uttered while gazing at a paper. "The information that we have here is enough to create an escape plan. All we need is a strategy. The only problem is this..." Norman pointed at the word that is written in the paper. "The transmitter."

"I've searched all over my body and there aren't any scars that indicate something was implanted," Emma uttered when she heard the word transmitter.

"We tried to search in our clothes, but we found none." Norman glanced at Ray. "The Notebook never states anything about it," He said with a solemn tone. "Although this notebook is informational, there are things that aren't in this notebook."

The Black-haired boy tried to hide his reaction when Norman announced it. Ray knows that there was a hidden meaning behind those lines. However, the boy remained silent and continued to listen.

'The notebook is filtered and it is intentional.'

It is obvious that Conny knows more than what was written in the notebook. However, she didn't write some information in the notebook, and Norman is certain that it is all intentional. There must be a reason behind it.

What might be the reason for it?

There is only one reason that Norman could think of at this moment.

A secret smile appeared on Norman's lips. His eyes went to Ray, who was currently silent. Ray could feel that glance, but he didn't bother to react to it. After all, He has an idea of why Norman is looking like that at him.

Ray would be disappointed if his suspicion is wrong. Clues are placed on the table. From the day that Norman snitched to Conny and told Ray about her plan, he should've suspected Ray's connection to Isabella.

'The book is filtered to help the Spy.'

Of course, Norman knows.

He suspected it from the moment that he discovered the truth behind the orphanage. Norman noticed that Conny was filtering some information to Ray. He also observed the interactions between Isabella and Ray.

It may be hard to believe it, but Ray is Mom's pawn.

However, the fact that Ray tried to help Conny means that he can be their ally. She is also helping Ray to keep his secret. If Norman will interpret this situation, Conny knows his secret but still trust Ray.

And if Emma will also know about this, Norman is sure that she would the same thing. After all, Emma wanted to save all of their siblings. On top of that, Ray is also their friend. Emma will not leave Ray for that reason.

This situation is not as bad as it seems to be. The truth is Norman could take advantage of it. He can easily manipulate the information that will be leaked out to Isabella. In that way, the probability of escaping would be higher.

'If they will trust Ray, then I should too,' Norman thought. He tapped his fingers at the table with a calm expression. 'Now, how should I confront him?' He asked himself.

"If that's the case, then it's going to be difficult to identify the location and mechanism of the tracker," Ray suddenly uttered. "In my calculations, It must be something ultra-small that wouldn't leave any scars in our body with batteries that might last for ten years,"

Norman stopped thinking as he listened to Ray's explanation. He should focus on their topic first.

Norman slightly nodded his head as he placed his hands in his chin. "It's more likely they're using specific technologies from Demons," He said while analyzing the information that Ray spouted.

"So...Checkmate...?" Emma suddenly mumbled while holding the notebook in her hands.

Ray stared at Emma for a while. "Yup," He answered with a bored expression. The boy crossed both of his arms before averting his eyes somewhere.

'It's only Check, not Checkmate.'

"That terrible!" Emma said in a hysterical tone. She almost throw the notebook in her hands, however, she immediately hugged it when she remembered that it's from Conny. "Then how do we save Conny?"

Norman raised his brows while looking at Ray's bored face.

"No, don't worry," He said before looking back at Emma. A gentle smile appeared on his face. "There must be away. Even if we can't figure it out, we can anticipate things," Norman told her. The boy took a deep breath while secretly shaking his in his mind.

'Knowing the location of the tracker is not impossible with the help of the 'Spy','  Norman thought. 'The problem is how do we break it?'

Norman fell into deep thought while thinking of a solution to the problem. If he can't think of a solution for this problem, it will become a problem shortly. They can't waste time or else another problem might arise.

His eyes lit up when he suddenly remembered the day when Ray planned to let Conny escape.

How can he even overlook that information?

Ray was holding a strange device in his hand that day. It is obvious that he is planning to give that to Conny. What is that device? Why would he give that to Conny?

Emma decided to remain silent when she saw that the two were currently thinking. She must do something that could help them. Emma doesn't want her siblings to end up like the other first children that were shipped out.

She can't let anyone die!

They have obtained information with Conny's help, and they have also prepared the things that might become a help for them. However, she knows that it wasn't enough. If she wanted to save her siblings, especially Conny.

She needs to catch up with them.

Her eyes fell to the notebook that is in her hands. Emma flipped the pages as she started to read them. Reading the coded text is not impossible for her anymore. Emma already knows how to read the code. Norman asked her to memorize this.

While Decoding the notebook, her eyes went to a page with weird content. Emma stared at it as if trying to analyze a puzzle.

"Norman..." The with platinum hair raised his head when Emma called him. Something is wrong with her tone. What might be the problem?

Norman stared at the girl who was holding a notebook in her hands. "What is this?" Emma asked in a daze. "I think I found something strange in this notebook..." She mumbled.

Norman went in Emma's direction to check the notebook. He took it from Emma's hands and decided to read the coded text. At first, he thought it was something about their topic, however, when he saw what was Emma trying to point out, he became speechless.

He forgot to hide about this thing...

"T-To became a Mom means to become a breeder?" Emma spoke. Her hands went to her lips when she said those words. Emma seemed to be confused. "I-I don't get it..." She said with hesitation. "What does it mean?"

Emma suddenly realized something. "By b-breeder...it means p-produce baby?" She asked.

Her reaction became worse when Norman nodded his head awkwardly. "Indeed," he replied. "To produce babies for the Demons."

Ray who was silent jolted his body when he heard it. His bored expression became dumbfounded while looking at Emma and Norman. Given by not experiencing infantile amnesia, Ray should know about this. However, hearing this from other people is more irritating.

Unlike Emma who doesn't know how to react, Ray could clearly understand the meaning of the content and he knows that should be furious. He clenched his fist while trying to calm himself.

Ray suddenly remembered Isabella, who is his real Mom. Imagining that Conny would be like her in the future is something that his mind cannot accept.

It doesn't suit her.

Norman remained silent when he noticed Ray's reaction. Norman was also terrified when he found out about this, but he realized that they still have more time to save her. Conny has calculated her situation. She should be fine.

If they failed, many things will happen to Conny.

Ray clenched his fist before slamming it to the table. "She's a fool," He said while gritting his teeth. He averted his eyes with a frown on his face. The reaction in his face ceased when he decided to stand up. "But she decided to do this."

"Correct, she choose to do that," Emma suddenly spoke with determination on her face. "But it also means that she trusts us. Besides... I am sure that it will take many years to become a Mom. Conny is only six. We can save her before she became an adult."

The three of them raised their heads when the door suddenly opened. Emma simply closed the notebook and placed it on her right hand.

A boy named Don suddenly entered, behind him was Gilda who was observing the trio. "Oi, oi, it's time to do some chores again, do not slack off!" He said with a frown while looking at the three.

Emma and Norman glanced at each other.

'It's been days since Mama Isabella asked us to do some chores, what is she planning?'

Don was about to turn around but he suddenly noticed the notebook in Emma's hand. It has a bunny cover which intrigued him the most. His expression softened when he remembered her. It's been days when she got adopted.

"Hey," Don suddenly spoke while pointing at the notebook. He recognized it"Is that from Conny?"

"Hey, Mom!" Phil said while looking up at Isabella who looking up the window. Phil raised his hand to reach Isabella's hand "How long do Emma and others have to do the chores? I want to play with Emma!"

"And Norman!" Sherry backed up.

The woman retracted her gaze while holding a pocket watch in her hand. Isabella glanced at the two children who were looking at her with cute and pitiful faces.

A strange smile appeared on her face as she closed the pocket watch. Sherry did not notice the strange expression on Isabella's face, but Phil did. "Don't worry, they're only doing chores until today," Isabella replied before patting Phil's head.

Isabella turned around as she left the two kids who were looking at her with confusion.

'I wonder if Conny is also okay...' Phil thought while watching Mama Isabella walk away. A sad expression appeared on his face. 'I want to see her...'

When Isabella turned her back at them, her smiling face was replaced with a solemn expression as she immediately entered the house. Isabella stopped walking and faced a calendar that was placed on the wall.

She unconsciously held her neck before closing her eyes. "It's time," she mumbled with a slight, strange smile on her lips. "I'm sorry Conny, but I won't let anyone escape."
