Chapter 48

A certain silver haired young miss stood in the veranda of her room in the scorpions' hide out. There was longing in her eyes as she watched the night sky adorned by the moon which was praised by millions of sparkling stars.

Zariyah missed her mother and her elder brother so much. She missed Claire, the catkin whom her personal maid. Ashgrif her majestic and big legendary fenrir and Shouto, her first warrior of her Kitsune clan. She missed everyone who she held dearly in her heart.

It was already night time but the silver haired young miss was still shock of what was happening in her life.

Before she thought she could just live peacefully in Greffania after being reincarnated but she didn't expect that such big responsibilities where destined for her. She didn't thought she would be force to strive hard to become strong because partly she wanted to be praised and recognized by her father, the arch duke Lucas. And because she wanted to protect her mother.

The silver haired young miss of the Silverglaze became the supreme commander of the storm, a leader of her yokai clan. One of the rulers of the yokai in Greffania. She was married to a demon lord without her consent and now she was part of the deadly criminal organization.

Zariyah's heart clenched as she was listening to the leader of the scorpions. She was still bewildered in aghast by upon hearing that Soujiro wanted to go back to Earth.

By hearing it through Soujiro's mouth that Greffania is a world in a game called Ancient Tale Online, it still left a bad taste in Zariyah's mouth.

She doesn't even know if her personality was just product of a program. And then a flash of memory about earlier played in her mind.

"Have you heard of the Demon Emperor Dragneel?" Soujiro who was given the epithet Vanquish, asked Zariyah.

Of course! It's Natsu's surname!

Zariyah wanted to voice out her joke but she didn't because there was a stern and serious facade plastered in Soujiro's face.

The railgun was just being observant but still not letting his guard down, who knows Soujiro might attack his wife again.

"The king of impurities, the personification of darkness and malice. Demon Emperor Dragneel is the strongest Demon entity that is comparable to the supreme diety, Gaia. Demon Emperor Dragneel is a God." Zariyah answered in a low voice as she glanced at Kazuto before meeting Soujiro gaze.

Upon hearing again the name of the demon emperor, she remembered what Shouto told her before in their first meeting.

The demon emperor is going to wake up ten years or so from now. And the source of that information was the priestess and seer of the elfen kingdom, one of the ten demon lords, the dark elf, Silverietta.

It was one of the main reason why the silver haired young miss are amassing her force and recruiting a lot of yokai in order to prepare for the upcoming war against the king of impurities.

"Back when Greffania is just a game, Demon Emperor Dragneel is a world boss. He is the strongest of all. Hundreds of players gathered and teamed up for a subjugating a world raid boss." Soujiro stated as he stared outside through the big hole that Kazuto made when he kicked Vanquish.

"What's your point?" Kazuto uttered in a baritone voice.

The leader of the scorpions heaved a deep breath before answering Kazuto's question.

"I'm guessing that once the demon emperor is defeated, I would be able to return back to Earth. And it is that same reason i created the scorpions." soujiro trailed off and both Zariyah and Kazuto's eyes widened in surprise of the revelation their leader stated.

'So hee gathered strong individuals to battle the demon emperor Dragneel. The holy war is coming and a lot of lives will be forfeited.' Zariyah said to herself with concern reflecting in her eyes.

"Your theory might be right but I think there is more to it than meets the eye. I've heard before from my sword master Ezekiel that..." Zariyah trailed off as if she was teasing her two companion.

Soujiro and Kazuto recognized the name of Zariyah's sword master. He was well known from all the continent in Greffania.
Ezekiel was called the strongest human, at a young age he was able to conquer one of the seven great dungeons in Greffania.

Rumors said that he was able to meet the Goddess of Gaia herself. And he have an unfathomable reserve of power. The man favored by the Gods.

"What did you heard from him?" Soujiro was curious and interested.

The smirk on his lips was proof of that he was now all ears at the silver haired young miss.

"He said to me before that he was able to communicate with the great mother, Gaia through an ancient relic, a sapphire crystal ball. It is called 'Goddess' Sphere'." Zariyah stated in a serious voice.

Both Kazuto and Soujiro's eyes widened in aghast upon hearing the silver haired young lady's statement.

Ezekiel told Zariyah before where he found the goddess sphere. He found it in the one hundred floor of the great dungeon.

And the silver haired young miss asked herself Before if there are more of that goddess sphere existing in the remaining Six great dungeons that were scattered in different places in Greffania.

"Are you saying that if we have that crystal ball we will be able to communicate with the goddess of creation, Gaia and directly ask her how we can go back to Earth?" Kazuto glanced at his wife.

Zariyah stared back at her husband and didn't bother breaking their eye contact. Kazuto wanted to return to Earth because he wanted to take revenge on Shin for all the torture and abuse he and his mother experience. He wanted to kill all of the family of Shin's accomplices. And the young demon lord wanted to check his mother's welfare.

Before he got reincarnated he heard a demonic voice that offered his help to eliminate Shin and his yakuza group in order for his mother to escape their grasp. He knew he made a deal with the devil but he wasn't sure what he gave as payment for avenging and reincarnating him because he can't remember it.

"Yes, though I don't know where Ezekiel-sensei hid it. And no matter how much I tried to push him to give me the location where he hid it he won't budge." Zariyah heaved a deep sigh as she remembered her frustrations before because Ezekiel won't tell her the ancient relic where abouts.

"That sounds interesting. Well lets hope that the Goddess' Sphere is real or still existing in this realm, for us to return to Earth we need to obtain that relic." Soujiro stated as he gazed to his subordinates.

Zariyah wasn't sure if she wanted to return to Earth, she doesn't have anyone precious to her in her previous world. All she has are the hatred and anger in her heart for all of those who hurt and abuse her. She wasn't even sure if she can materialized in that world knowing that she passed away already on Earth.

Greffania was her new home, this is where she truly belong. Her love onces are in this magical world.

The silver haired young miss knew that there was a deeper reason why her leader, Soujiro gathered strong individuals all over Greffania but she didn't bother asking him. She already got the answers she wanted to hear.

The answers that the world she was living was from an mmorpg game and the reason why the strongest member of the scorpions wanted her to join their criminal organization was because he needed her to uncover how the boss would be able to return back to Earth.

Zariyah knew that Kazuto wanted to go back to Earth as well because the seriousness and interest evident in the young demon lord's eyes.

"Now that I'm part of your group, can I go back now to my family? I still needs to earn money and build my own kingdom." Zariyah uttered as she remembered what her life long plan.

"kingdom? That's a big dream you've got. You sure you'll be able to make that dream to a reality?" Soujiro asked.

"Of course she can. My wife is a queen material. And she can build her kingdom back in Klearione. Because Sheolle already destroyed the previous kingdom and turned it to ruins." Kazuto said and munched one of the cookies in Soujiro's cookie jar which was placed on the leader's table.

"We have an upcoming mission that needs all the members next week, Zariyah. After we accomplish that mission, you're free to go back to your family and then wait for my further instructions." Soujiro said as he read the documents in his table.

According to Shouto and Claire's report, the Zariyah beauty product was a big hit in the elfen kingdom and other neighboring human kingdoms. And not only that, the sweets she taught to her Claire was also a best seller. They accumulated plenty of money but still it wasn't enough for her to build her kingdom.

She needed more, that is why her eyes were now focus on raiding the remaining six great dungeons. Based from her sword master's statement, there are plenty of treasures and ancient relics hidden in the dungeons. Not only that, she wanted also to see in her own eyes if there are other goddess sphere in the other dungeons once she accomplished raiding it.

Zariyah's forehead creased as she planned in her mind how she would raid the dungeons. Surely her current yokai subordinates were not enough for the raid. She needs more manpower and money.

"If you need money I can hire you, all you need to do is assassinate few people in our bingo book. Nurufufufu." Soujiro chuckled.

Kazuto's forehead creased when he recognized that kind of laughter. The way his leader laugh was similar to koro-sensei of assassination classroom.

The crimson haired third ranked member of the scorpions was about to give his opinion about Soujiro's laughter but Zariyah beat him to that matter.

"What a weeaboo, copying koro-sensei's laughter." Zariyah snorted as she heard Soujiro chuckled.

She knew Soujiro was powerful and intimidating but for some reason she was able to say that to him. She guess it was because Soujiro was from Earth so that's why she was being familiar with the strongest mber of the scorpions.

"Aren't we all? So what's your say? Are you up for assassination job?" Soujiro chuckled and Zariyah just nodded as her answer.
"I was born and raised in Japan, so I'm not a weeb." Zariyah stated in defence.

The sound of knocking reverberated in Zariyah's room, and the continuous knocking on the door brought Zariyah back to reality from her moment of flashbacks a while ago.

"Come in." she said as she turned around and focus her eyes in the door.

She was still flabbergasted that her magic perception won't work in the scorpions' hideout.

The creaking sound of the door being open registered in her eyes, then her pair of golden orbs found a familiar figure entering her room.

"Can you join me in my walk?" the crimson haired young man gazed at Zariyah's pair of orbs.

The silver haired young miss felt her heart clenched and she was in pain when she saw that loneliness and pain were reflecting in Kazuto's eyes.

Zariyah was speechless upon seeing the demon lord vulnerable and his guard was down.

"S-Sure! I'm quite bored anyway." Zariyah stuttered for she didn't know how to act in front of a vulberable Kazuto.

When Kazuto heard the ranked seventh answer, a complex magic circle immediately appeared in the floor. Big enough to engulf the entire floor of the room.

The six pointed star and moon and sun was inscribe in the magic circle which was glowing in bluish whitr hue.

'teleportation spell,' Zariyah uttered when she recognized the magic circle.

In just a blink of an eye both the silver haired young miss and the crimson haired young demon lord presence vanished from their hideout.

When Zariyah opened her eyes she was stupefied, she was speechless at the sight she was seeing.

Pixies were glowing like fireflies in the dense overgrown forest. The faeries were just as tall as her thumb. They were dancing in mid air like ballerinas. It was as if the entire forest was alive and praising the night time.

Zariyah was astonished upon seeing a cluster of fairies singing and gazing at the full moon which was defined by billions of stars shining bright like a diamond. Today was a harvest moon festival, that is why the village of faeries were celebrating.

Zariyah was dazzled as she divert her gaze from one spot to another. The houses of the faeries were located in the tall massive trees and mushrooms. It has a small door and windows.

The clearing was illuminated by the rays of the moonlight and countless of magical light orbs that were floating in mid air, illuminating the entire place. It was like floating lanterns.

There were different types of fae. Nymphs, dryads, willow wisps, undines, slyphs and more. She also noticed that there were magical creatures such as unicorns and pegasus.

Zariyah noticed that the forest was engulfed in a big barrier, a barrier that protects the residents of the forest from demons and outsiders. The strong barrier span in the entire land and that is why the fae were so carefree and wasn't afraid of anything.

It was a strong magic and Zariyah could perfectly tell by one glance that it was one of the faeries spells, 'Fairy Sphere'.

A smirk grace at Zariyah's face because the 'fairy sphere' reminds her of the power of the first guild master of Fairy Tail, Mavis Vermillion.

"Is there a celebration?" The silver haired miss asked as she clinged in Kazuto's arm.

The man looked at his wife and noticed the amazement in her eyes. Her pair of golden orbs were beautiful and refreshing. Its like watching her soul.

"They're celebrating harvest festival."

As the pixies move and fly a series of glowing dust followed their movements. Zariyah heard giggles and noticed that the pixies and sprites were glancing at her and Kazuto. Surrounding them in the process.

"Is she the one?"

"is she the one, young master?"

All of the pixies immediately surrounded her and Kazuto, all of them were asking the same question over and over again to the crimson haired young man.

"Yes she is. So give us some space because we don't want to be bothered." Kazuto uttered in an annoyed voice.

The pixies said 'aw' in unison and pouted and go back to what they were doing earlier. Continuing the celebration of the harvest festival.

"What are they asking you about? And are you to master of this magical forest?" Zariyah asked as she followed Kazuto, who was still walking deeper in the forest.

As they walk deep in the forest, the snapped of dried leaves and twigs echoed as the crickets continued making noises.

"This entire land is called 'Isghar', and I'm the master of this forest. The Fairy Sphere forbid outsiders from entering this holy land. I told the faeries before that someday I'm going to show this land to my future wife. So that's why those folks are being a nuisance earlier and making a fuzz when they saw you." Kazuto halt from hos stride and gazed up in the full moon before turning around to glance at the silver haired young miss.

'What a weeb!'

Zariyah was speechless upon seeing how godly handsome Kazuto right now, especially when the rays of the moonlight hit him. Zariyah couldn't believe such handsome guy existed in this world. So handsome that looking at him should be illegal.

Any men she knew will pale to comparison if compared to this young demon lord.

"Only the fairy queen, Titania is able to cast a fairy sphere. How did you made her cast the ultimate defence of the faes?" Zariyah asked her husband.

"Rember I told you that we did a favor for the fairy queen, Titania by killing my father who was terrorizing Yggdrasil. So as exchange I asked Titania to cast fairy sphere in this land. " Kazuto stated as a memory of how the scorpions killed his father flashed in his mind.

Zariyah absentmindedly clasped the necklace that Kazuto gave to her in the day of their marriage. The pendant which held half of the late demon lord's August soul stone.

"And it's not the only reason why I brought you here. I want you to meet someone." He said in a low voice which was like a whisper.

'Someone'

Kazuto's voice held longing and pain, and the sad smile that graced in his lips didn't escape Zariyah's eyes.

The two continued to go deeper and deeper, and now the rays of the moonlight was their guide in the dense overgrown forest.

Their stride came to halt when they saw a cave, and near the opening of the cave, there were five red torii gates in the pathway and a holy shimenawa rope sealed in the entrance. It was like one of those hallowed ground back in Japan which a shrine was built deep inside the cave.

Even when both the silver haired young miss and the crimson haired young demon lord were just outside of the crevice, Zariyah could tell that something was inside the cave. An entity.

She didn't utter a single word and continued to follow Kazuto in his strides inside the cave. The stalactites and stalagmites were a sight to be hold, it was dark inside the cave but gems were glowing and illuminating as if telling them where is the way.

Zariyah's heart pounded twice its normal rate as she felt that they were getting closer and closer to the person who wants Kazuto to meet her.

The silver haired young miss eyes widened in aghast and a sudden imaginary lump built up in her throat making her unable to speak up. The sight she was seeing was a combination astonishment and horror.

The boy inside the crystal pillar looked exactly like Kazuto, but he was a younger version. He was sleeping peacefully.

It was like watching the fairy heart, Lumen Histoire of fairytail in person with high definition.

"This is the body of my late brother. His dead body is preserve in a magic crystal in order for Kouta not to decay and rot." Kazuto was staring at the body of kouta with sadness and longing in his eyes. "Those bastards overlords killed him." Kazuto added.

Killed? Kouta is comatose not dead! His life is suspended! And good thing he didn't burried the cute little boy!

"He is not dead, Kazuto." Zariyah said in a soft voice.

kazuto turned around to gaze at her with confusion in his eyes. His expression was asking Zariyah to repeat what she just uttered a while ago.

"Your brother is still alive! He doesn't have a heart beat but his time is suspended! Use your [God's Eyes] on the crystal pillar!" Zariyah said as her golden orbs laid on the blue crystal that entrapped the little boy.
