"Our trip is going to end, Vinny." Sushi said to me, combing her hair infront of mirror.

"Aren't you happy about this?" I asked her putting my clothes in my luggage bag. Because I was happy. I shouldn't have felt in this way as I was with my friends. But the eyes which I did see in the basement were haunting me every second. I should be hallucinating when I saw that, but it was disturbing my every thought.

"Does this mean that you're happy, Vinny ma'am?" Sushi asked me surprised.

"Yeah...um..no, not really."

She shrugged her shoulders and sat beside me, "You are looking disturbed since you came out of that basement. Can I know what is going on?"

I was little off guard when she asked about my behaviour. I haven't said anything about the eyes or.....about my hallucination to her but she did find out that something was wrong. She was my best ever friend and I wasn't going to hide things infront of her for much long.

I opened my bag and pulled the paper on which I had draw those eyes. She was watching my expression carefully when I handed it to her.

She watched the sketch for few seconds and looked at me, "It is good, Vinny. But what does this have to do with my question?"

I cleared my throat, "I have saw these eyes in the basement, behind the boxes. I don't know if Vishal saw or not." I looked at her and continued explaining as she seemed like she hadn't understand what I was saying, "They disappeared when I turned to see them again after screaming for Vishal. And, you have no need to believe it because even I'm not sure of that. That if I have saw it really or if I have hallucinated."

She thought for a moment before turning to me from the paper and smiled, "Well don't think of it. We have only tomorrow to end our trip. We can stay with Ayesha for this night with Nikita if you feel uncomfortable here. Anyway we will leave tomorrow night."

She was right. I could stay with the three girls like Nikita was doing but it would hurt Karthik for abandoning his guest house like this.

"I will talk with Karthik once." I said to her and she nodded.

We were walking out of St.Stephen's church when the clock did stricken 11:30 a.m. The church has historical importance and it was of 19th century. We covered almost all places in these five days, almost all lakes, gardens and museums. Irony was that Ooty wasn't having many tourists like us....., like a friends group of young adults. Couples were everywhere. Goa was not going to suit my taste. Vishal forced on making a trip to Goa but I'd rather insisted that I would attend his marriage in goa than going a bachelor trip with him to that place.

Karthik hadn't talked much with us since yesterday night. When I asked Vishal about why he was that angry for opening the basement door, he said that someone in Karthik's family had died in that basement and so he didn't want to bring those sad memories again. It was freaking to know that the guest house had such memories despite of its pleasant appearance.

Nikita and Karthik were again talking nicely with each other than the other day. Nikita hated those girls but as she had been staying with the three girls, all of them were so mingled than any other day. I was happy for them.

The day went on smoothly without much effort and tiredness. I talked with Karthik to know more about the basement.

"Sorry for my rudeness. I shouldn't have shouted on you guys." He said sitting beside me in the van.

"No. I shoul be the one saying you that. Sorry. Vishal said that someone died in that basement. Is it true?" I asked him but I wasn't sure if it was right to ask that or not.

"My cousin. She did hung herslef in that basement few years back when we came here for a trip." He looked away from me towards the window, "she got pregnant with his boyfriend and she was terrified af to say it to my father, as he rules our family."

"I'm sorry."

Was her death had something to do with my hallucination? I tried asking him about that but I would sound too dumb if he wouldn't believe such things.

Anyway I decided to stay in the guest house for that night as it was going to be our last night of the trip. I convinced Nikita to come along with us and she agreed with certain conditions. Ayesha, Ishwarya and Vrindha came along with us and we all had a memorable night joking, chatting, singing, dancing and commenting. Krishna made chicken biryani and we all slept after having a delicious dinner.

Next day, we were in our way to Mukurti national park when the tyre of our van punctured.

"You should have waited for one more day." Krishna scowled at his van.

"How long does the repair shop is located from here?" Karthik asked him examining the broken tyre.

"Twenty kilometers."

"Great." Vishal muttered.

Krishna walked around the van and said, "help me pull this van to one kilometer. We will park it there safe and there we would find some others vehicles."

We pushed the vehicle for one kilometer as he said. The road was sloppy and it hadn't take away much energy. Besides, we had fun all along our way.

We parked it aside in between the large trees and started walking to see if we could find any humans with their vehicles to get some lift. Vishal, Sushma, Krishna, Ayesha and I were walking along the side while Nikita, karthik, Vrindha and Ishwarya were walking along other side.

We walked for almost one to two hours but we found nothing.

"We are going to stuck in this forest." Nikita cried.

"I will call my friend to find if he could help us." Krishna said taking out his mobile.

"Should have done this at first place." Sushi said sitting on a rock. I sat beside her and he walked away from us searching for signals.

"A group of friends were missing in Ooty forest- tomorrow's headlines." Vishal said sitting beside us.

"Shut up please." I spatted at him. We three sat there talking about some weird stuff while others roamed into the trees. Karthik and Nikita were not in our site and Vishal commented a weird joke on them. Those three girls were always found pleasure in walking around the place than sitting like lazy cats like us. So we hadn't bothered about them either when they were not in our site. Krishna came back disappointed saying that his friend couldn't help us and we had to wait for someone passing over for a lift.

I was almost falling into the first stage sleep when Vishal was shaking me to make me wide awake. A vehicle was coming nearer to us and Sushi cheered at the site.

"Ask them for lift. I'll go get them all." Vishal said running into the trees, "make sure we are getting the lift."

The vehicle was a truck and we would all fit in that if we adjust in the back. A man, who was a tamilian for sure, was driving the truck. I had to wave both my hands to make him stop.

"Lift please." I said and he moved his gaze along me and Sushi before nodding his head.

"Wait a minute. We have other friends with us." Sushi said and he frowned.

We waited for few minutes until his patience disappeared.

"Unkal friends enke?" He shouted at us and I realised that he was asking for my friends. I gave him an awkward smile and begged him to stay for few more minutes. Three girls came towards us saying that Vishal went to bring Nikita and Karthik.

Few minutes passed after which Vishal, Karthik ran to us panting.

"Where is Nikita?" Sushi asked them.

"I don't know. She is missing." Karthik said with shaky voice.
