He seemed to have been there out of the kindness of his heart. So had she doubted him, she would seem to be ungrateful (despite that fact that she didn't need his help after all). So she opted to pay him.

Li XinYun was simple, but she wasn't stupid. She only fell for Li WangJin previously because he was family and she trusted him.

"You are right. I think his goal is our Beautify Pills."

Fang JunRong straight up told Li XinYun about her past history with Zhang Bi. She was very pleased that her daughter was not fooled by him. Come to think about it, as the daughter of Li WangJin and Fang JunRong, she had been pampered by everyone around her since she was a child. Li XinYun frowned and said, "What a despicable person. Annoying like a fly."

Fang JunRong looked up at her. Most likely Meng Xiang, the manager of Shengxing, was bribed by Zhang Bi to put on the show.

"You wanted revenge?"

Li XinYun said casually, "Sort of. Once I have acquired the company, I will be able to see whether there were issues with the books."

Otherwise, they'd have to pay him if they fire him.

"But that's not the only reason. I also want to test water and see how I do when it comes to managing a company. It so happened that our school is hosting some sort of activities and I can do some advertisement. There's no reason to benefit others."

The company wasn't big and probably would only cost tens of millions to acquire. If it was proven that this was not her forte, she'd just wait for her share of payment every year from now on.

Fang JunRong, seeing her daughter in high spirit, smiled slightly. She thought of Zhong Yi. Zhong Yi was one year older than Li XinYun. She wondered what kind of plans Zhong Yi has for her future.

Zhong Yi majored in advertisement in college. She was a little stunned when Fang JunRong asked her for her future plans. She said slowly, "I haven't thought it through yet. I just want to focus on my studies right now and wait for my grandmother to recover."

Fang JunRong didn't want to rush her. "Alright. Let me know when you decide on what you want to do and where you want to have an internship. I will go and put in a word for you."

Fang JunRong was almost charmed by his look. As much as Jiang WenYu resembled Zhang Bi, as far as she was concerned, he looked much more pleasant than that guyi. She recollected herself and told him the purpose of her visit.

Jiang WenYu mulled over it for a little bit and said, "The crux of the Beautify Pills is the spring water that is provided by you. The spring water is what balances out all the other ingredients perfectly along with the efficacy of restoring one's skin.

"Without that spring water, the other ingredients alone would not be able to provide the same effects. It would be effective at the beginning because of the strength of the medicinal properties but once the ingredients left the body, the effect would begin to diminish. Plus long term use might bring about other side effects."

"Such as?"

Jiang WenYu coughed and said, "Flatulence."

Fang JunRong figured out what he meant by that right away. That meant they would fart and burp a lot.

He held 47% of the stock right now and the second biggest stockholder held 36%.

If he was to take out a loan, the process itself would have taken days. Let alone that fact that he had just taken out a loan recently, and he had spent almost all of it already. In addition, most of the company's profit recently ended up in his pocket and he had been using them to fill his holes left and right. Many on the board of directors were already aware of this and had demanded an explanation from him.
