As soon as the next morning came, Xiao bai's fame rose once again. Of course xuwei was also on par with him.

Everyday the 4 would hang out and they will always receive random greetings from random people which made xiao bai feel like a celebrity.

And for the whole spring, Xuwei was forced to drink vinegar silently every once in a while. Why is this? It's because Xiao bai has been receiving a lot of confessions from a lot of female students right in front of his face.

Of course there are also a lot of confessions to Xuwei himself but he always harshly turn it down. Firmly chanting that he only have Xiao bai in his heart and in his eyes. However Xiao bai is not as harsh as him, he would either smile at them while turning them down then it leave them some glimpse of hopes.

Xiao bai is a modern man, and also not a straight one. In short he never experienced receiving this things from women, so he didn't know what to do. So he unconsciously give them hope by politely but positively talking to them.

A week passed since their little event happened, the confessions were not that many. However as days passed and the word has spread far and wide, that when it really became very tedious. Of course Xiao bai appreciates it, but he also noticed that Xuwei has been acting cold to him.

At the first two weeks, Xuwei would just go home early than usual instead of waiting for them to go home together. He would have many excuses like he has something to do, but after that he completely don't bother to talk with Xiao Bai anymore.

Xiao Bai was of course very puzzled, he tried so hard to think of every possible reasons for Xuwei to suddenly have a cold war with him but he really couldn't find the right answer.

And so they spent the remaining week of their spring season with misunderstanding. Today was officially Summer, the two months of spring has finally passed. The air also has become a little bit hotter.

"Mingxue, it has been a weeks since Xuwei last  talked to me. Tell me, what do you think is the problem?" Xiao Bai asked XuWei on their way to their classroom.

'The problem is that you're too dense to notice the problem.' Mingxue wanted to say but of course he won't since he don't have any right to mix in. As long as XuWei doesn't have any threat to Xiao Bai, then he won't do anything unnecessary.

By now, Mingxue already guessed that XuWei really did have some feelings for his young master. It was actually quite noticeable to the naked eyes, as long as you had one.

The way XuWei treat Xiao Bai was way too different. He treats Xiao Bai with utmost care and gentleness, but he was usually cruel and rude at other people. Even with Ruo Lan who was his confidant since childhood, he was also quite ruthless.

"Wouldn't it be better if you just ask him directly?" Mingxue suggested.

"How could I ask him if he obviously doesn't want to talk to me!" Xiao Bai frustratingly said.

"The summer solstice will come up soon. How about taking that chance?" Mingxue said, remembering that the summer festival will take part soon.

"That...doesn't sound like a bad idea." Xiao Bai thought seriously.

Mingxue just shook his head. He would be lying if he said that he doesn't quite feel sad about the two's development but as long as Xiao Bai is happy then he would naturally support them unconditionally. Besides, although Xiao Bai himself doesn't realize it, Mingxue could see that Xiao Bai gives XuWei too much participation and anticipation for him to be just a simple friend.

The duo finally arrived, and as usual Ruo Lan was only the one who greeted them. Xiao Bai greeted him back and glanced at Xuwei who was clearly not paying attention to them. Xiao Bai sat dejectedly and sighed.

XuWei on the other hand was feeling like punching his self. He badly wanted to talk to Xiao Bai but he couldn't just openly say that he was jealous of those girls clamoring for his attention.

He wanted to punch himself for throwing a tantrum and now he don't know how to face Xiao Bai so he couldn't find the courage to talk to him.

And just like that their morning period came to an end.

The afternoon was practical class, it was like a PE class in modern world but with different activities. They need to go outside to either practice riding horses while shooting arrows, or other combats skills.

In the midst of their training a senior from the committee came and asked them to immediately head to the Orchid room after class.

The both of them were now heading to the said orchid room. XuWei and Xiao Bai walking in front while Mingxue and Ruo Lan following behind.

Ruo Lan as someone who could see them from behind couldn't help but think, 'aren't they too awkward?!'

Yes, there seems to be an air of intense awkwardness surrounding the two making Ruo Lan also at lose on what to do. Sometimes he felt that it might be good to be like Mingxue, indifferent and unaffected.

Well XuWei and Xiao bai's situation aren't any better than Ruo Lan. They clearly walk side by side, but they keep their head hung low, only focusing in the ground not even daring to look up. And they seem to be pretty tense and stiff like they don't know what to do. Should they speak or nah? Should they walk first or nah? Should they just keep it like this for the rest of the way?

While struggling with this dilemma they arrived at the doors of the Orchid room. They greeted the seniors sitting at what seems like a round table. And also took their seats.

Since Ruo Lan and Mingxue are not part of the committee they were escorted at the waiting room.

President Zhou arrived not long after that, beside him was the secretary. Her name was Yu Yang. After Zhineng took his seat, Yu yang distributed the documents she was holding to the members and sat at Zhineng's left side, while Yang Lianhua sat in the right side.

Xiao Bai received the papers and opened them. Reading the content with carefulness not to miss any detail. Zhineng gave them time to read the content before starting the meeting.

"Good afternoon everyone. The meeting shall now commence. As what you have read, the Heavenly camp is approaching. The camp should be held this summer but since their was a major mishap at the chosen venue the alliance decided to move it this upcoming autumn at the same time with the autumn festival."

The mishap Zhineng was saying was the one that Yang Wenshu have to attend last time. They hold the Heavenly camp every two years to have a friendly competition with other academies within the continent.

Of course not every academy are qualified to be a part of the Heavenly Academia Alliances. The academy should be top notch like Yang Gui. As of now the Heavenly Academia Alliances has 10 academies in it. And of the 10, Yin Hai academy stands side by side with Yang Gui academy. These two institutions have long been rivals, and so winning as the overall champion for the Heavenly camp was such a big deal to them.

"This year, we need to claim the overall champion once again. We did it last time we could do it again. And so I need everyone's participation on this." Zhineng enthusiastically declared and arranged their duties.

The supreme president, vice president, secretary, and treasure will take care of the budget and everything they need to prepare for the upcoming heavenly camp. While the Academic and Disciplinary presidents including their members will help in searching the participants and volunteers to help assist.

They need a lot of people. There are 9 events to compete from, and there's an additional autumn hunt special event at the last day, so over all there are 10 competitions. In this, a senior or two should participate. Since the 2nd years and 3rd years are already familiar with each other so it's easy to pick players. However, they are strangers with the freshmen so they let Xuwei and Xiao Bai take the job. Especially Xiao bao since he is preparing to take over the position as the Academic president.

After an hour, the meeting was finally adjourned. Xiao Bai stretched his sore back and stood up, planning to head out first. He needs to make a list of first years with a great potential, so he has a lot of work to do.

Earlier while Zhineng was talking XuWei keeps glancing at Xiao bai. He was having a fight with himself, and finally the will to make things right won in the end. He vowed in his heart that he will make up with Xiao Bai now.

Seeing that Xiao Bai was about to leave, and was even already outside. He hurriedly went after the man and grabbed his hand by force making Xiao Bai pivot forcefully, lose his balance, and land on Xuwei's chest.

Xiao bai's face immediately heated up and pushed XuWei away. Good thing that the seniors are still inside and didn't get to see this embarrassing scene. Well except Mingxue and Ruo Lan who was their loyal followers.

Xiao Bai lowered his face to hide his red face and XuWei was also awkwardly facing at the side, his courage depleted in an instant.

Xiao Bai cleared his throat, "Do...do you need something?'

XuWei, "uhmm..Not really."

Xiao Bai really wanted to hit this man's face. 'If you don't have anything to say, then don't just casually graduate someone around, you moron!'

Xiao Bai once again turned his back on Xuwei, "then I'll go home now. I still have a lot to do...Mingxue let's go."

XuWei could only watch their retreating figures. His heart was still pounding so loud, he wonder if Xiao Bai heard it?

"Young master.."

"Young master..."

Ruo Lan suddenly felt irritated, his veins bulging on his forehead, "YOUNG MASTER!!!"

XuWei covered his ears, "Geez, what are you being so loud for?"

Ruo Lan was distressed, "You were spacing out and staring into nothingness!"

XuWei, "Ohh, is that so?"

Ruo Lan was helpless, he couldn't win with this man. So he just dejectedly followed him home.

Author's gossip: Hi guys, it's me again! We have finally and officially entered the Heavenly camp arc. There will be a lot of new characters to meet, new places to see, and new adventures to experience.
