Aniya's POV

I can't believe he just asked me on a date. I mean is it too soon or... I can't think right now. "Queenie you good girl," Bunny asks knocking me out of my deep thoughts. "Yeah I'm good, I think ima head home now..." I say packing my stuff up. 

I arrive home to be met with the most adorable sight. Kendall and my baby boy sleeping on the couch cuddling. I let a small smile slip and get a blanket for both of them. I put the blanket on them and get ready for bed. 

I shower and put on my fluffy bear suit pj's with my matching slippers. 

I quickly get into bed for my peaceful sleep seeing as it's already 2:30 am. But like most nights my sleep is never peaceful...

Third-person POV

Aniya's apartment was quiet and calm but nothing ever lasts forever. Kenya was awoken by a screaming Aniya. She was so frightened she almost dropped the little boy on her chest. Kenya rushed to Aniya's room to be met with the horrifying sight of her best of friends screaming in terror like someone was tearing her limbs off. "AHHH PLEASE STOP I-I'LL BE GOOD J-JUST P-PLEASE," Aniya screamed thrashing around. Kenya stood there afraid for her friend she had witnessed Aniya's nightmares before but this was the worst she had ever seen. Kenya quickly tried holding Aniya down seeing as she had started scratching her neck. "Mwama?" Kenya suddenly heard from the doorway where little Kai stood looking at the scene in front of him. "H-H-Hey buddy why don't you go back to the living room for a second," Kenya said still holding her friend down. 

"But I want mama," Little Kai said rubbing his eyes tiredly. "Mama's not feeling well right now sweetie you should make her a drawing to make her feel better," Kenya said trying to calm a still screaming Aniya. "Oki Aunty," Kai said before walking away. "Please Stop It Hurts!" Aniya yells, her screams slowly getting quieter. Aniya's screams slowly start to die down after an hour of pleads for her to stop. Kenya finally manages to put Kai to sleep and falls asleep herself...

Aniya's POV 

'Why does my throat hurt so much,' I think to myself as I slowly start to wake up. I finally gain full consciousness and sit up in my bed. I look at the mirror in front of my bed to see my tear-stained face and scratched neck. 'I must have had a nightmare,' I think to myself while getting up to get ready. I walk into the living room to see Kenya sleeping on the couch and with my baby boy. She looked tired and worried, 'I must have been screaming all night,' I think before picking up my baby boy and putting him in his own bed. 

 Time Skip-Kenya left- 11:45am

I take a shower and start to get ready for my day, I put on black jeans with a white button-up, sunglasses, and scarf. I also pick a matching outfit for Kai and get him ready. 

After getting us both ready we head to my first errand which is the nail and hair salon. "Sweetie mommy's gonna get her nails and hair done do you want to get yours done too?" I ask Kai who is looking out the window. "I want to do what mommy's doing!" he screams happily clapping his hands. I giggle at his reaction and turn into the parking lot of the salon. 

"Hi, can I get 2 appointments for nails and hair," I say to the receptionist? "Umm is a friend of yours running late or something, why would you need two appointments?" the receptionist asks me with a glare. "No I would like for my son and I t get our nails and hair done," I say confusion laced in my voice. "Oh... Why would you let your son get his nails done that's for girls," Miss Bimbo says with a look of disgust? "My son said he would like the get his nails done and I see no problem with my son doing so," I say getting fed up with the rude comments. "Well I'm just saying what needs to be said do you want your son to be gay or something," she says with a 'duh' look on her face. That's when I snapped I slapped that bitch right across her face. "Excuse me is there something wrong here," says a lady walking out from the bach room. "NO NOTHING IS OK THIS NIGER JUST SLAPPED ME," the receptionist yells with fake tears running down her face. "EXCUSE ME BUT YOU WERE JUST TELLING ME THAT MY SON CAN'T GET HIS NAILS DONE BECAUSE HE'S A BOY," I yell back. "Ok ok let's calm down let me check the cameras in the back," the lady who I'm guessing is the manager says. 

The manager comes back after a few minutes and yells at the blond bitch to get out and that she's fired. After the whole fiasco, the manager turns to me and says "I'm sorry about her I will schedule those appointments for you and my name, Emma, by the way," she says offering a handshake. I shake her hand and continue to talk while she helps us get set up for our spa day. "I think it's adorable that you and your son are having a spa day together, I tried to get my husband to get his nails done with me but I ended up having to tie him down with rope to keep still," Emma says with a little chuckle. "Your married?" I ask as she runs the water for my manicure while another lady takes Kai to do his. "Yes he is the best husband I could ask for, he runs one of the local biker clubs," she says which makes me think about Drake. 

"That's cool I've always wanted to ride a motorcycle," I say with a smile. She continues my nails and after about 3 hours at the salon, Kai and I were done. I say goodbye to Emma and then we head home for the day.

Time skip-Getting ready for the date

I shower, shave lotion up and quickly try to choose my outfit. I choose a black bell-bottom jumpsuit with gold and black heels and did a natural makeup look to top it all off.  

As I finish putting the romper and heels on my doorbell rings and I hear the door open. I walk out to see Drake standing in the doorway talking to Kai. "Hey little man you know you shouldn't open doors for strangers," Drake says to Kai. "But your, not a stranger my mommy really likes you Aunty K told me that," Kai says sucking on his thumb. "Really likes me huh," he says looking up meeting my eyes. "Hey, Drake it's good to see you, you look handsome," I say walking up to them and picking Kai up. "And you look beautiful as ever," he says huskily looking me up and down. "Her eyes are up here mister," Kai says pointing to my face, and glares at Drake adorably. Drake raises his hands up surrendering to the little man in my arms. "Your right little man her eyes are up there but your mom is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen," Drake says with a chuckle. "You better have my mommy back before 11:00 pm sharp or I'm hunting you down," Kai says crossing his arms. I let a little giggle out as I watch Drake stand there gobsmacked at the small boy in my arms.

After Kai went over the rules for Drake's and I's date we leave him with my neighbor Miss Edna who has been babysitting when Kendall cant. "I didn't know if you felt comfortable on my bike so I brought my truck instead," Drake says as we walk into the parking lot of the apartment complex. "I would have been fine with it," I say smiling at his consideration. "I can't believe I just got a lecture by a 2-year-old," Drake says as we get in the truck. I laugh at the small memory of them compromising. We continue joking and getting to know each other. This is the start of an amazing first date and for once we'll have a good night...
