Euphoric.

He felt delighted and thrilled by just looking at her. She was going to be his wife after all.

Was? Was.

He stood still blinking several times not believing the fact that she looked like she just walked out of moon. She stood with lips pressing against each other and her hands fidgeting.

She was all ready to be his.

It ached Izhaan to do what he was going to do now. His heart pained so bad that he took his hand to his chest. Tears escalated through his eyes. Destiny can't be so rude to him. He hasn't done anything.

"Izhaan," she murmurs and walks over to the door, locking it. Her heart in her mouth, she was feeling scared. They just broke a Patel rule but not like Izhaan cared about cultural norms. He just wanted her to be happy.

She was his only priority.

"What are you doing here?" She asks with knitted brows and fear embedded all over her face. She noticed the brimming tears in his eyes. He never shows his weak side to anyone. She was probably the first one to see him cry.

"You are crying?" She gets more worried now. "What happened?"

She was crying now because she has this habit she cries when her loved ones cry. That's when she realised,

She was in love with him.

But he misunderstood in a way and thought that she was crying because she wasn't getting married with Areeb. He wiped his tears and announced, "You look out of the world, Laiba."

Out of my league. He wondered.

"Like you just walked out of the moon," he smiles. He was all ready in an ivory sherwani but he doesn't cared because he wasn't her groom.

She smiles through her tears. Izhaan took it all wrong like she smiled because of the pain he gave her by his family sending his alliance. He didn't knew a damn thing.

"You don't need to worry, Laiba."

He looks around the room trying to find something. "I'll save you." She looks at his action trying to speculate hai actions. "Why are you here? What are you doing?"

"Where is your Abaya?" He asks looking around. "We have no time, Lai-"

"What are you doing, Izhaan?" She yells sitting down in the bed, breaking down. He finds her abaya and walks over to her.

"You'll be free from this. You will get married to the one you love." He announces making her twitch her brows in confusion.

"You need to elope with him." He says making her shock. Thinking about several things that made Izhaan think this way. "Stop it, Izhaan." She cries.

"What happened, Laiba?" He sits down near her. "I will assure you that you'd be fine."

"Everyone are just coming to me giving me assurance. It's my life. Can't I have an authority to decide?"

He closes his eyes. "You'll be happy with him," he says keeping a huge stone in his heart. She cried in front of him, breaking down her nervousness and fear all together. Though she had none when she was home.

"Who?" She asks. "Areeb."

"I can't let things spoil my life again, Izhaan. I can't let my Dad's head down again. Go away from here. Do what you were supposed to now." She drags him towards the window.

"Again?" He asks, shocked. "What do you mean again?" She wiped her tears but they were coming out again and again.

"Who do you think I love?" She asks silently, though tears ran down. He stares at her eyes under the sunlight. She looks ethereal. The beauty was unreal. Her honey brown was a treat to dig. He wished to say his name but...

"Areeb Ghaf-"

"It's you, you moron!" She cries breaking down again.

He couldn't move.

"It's you," she cries more. "Areeb said that he and you wer-"

"Stop being so selfless." She locked her eyes with his and questions without hesitation, "Do you love me, Izhaan?"

His eyes were dull, but the soul of his eyes were charming to realise the fact that she loves him. He couldn't believe it, he just couldn't believe the fact that the girl he gave his heart to had just named her heart as him.

"I do. You don't know, Laiba. I am freaking madly, deeply, happily, fondly, beautifully, restlessly in love with you but!"

She smiles. "Areeb has fooled you, Izhaan. He was my past. I was forced to marry him once but he broke our marriage just before the wedding because my grandfather died and he couldn't get any benefit out of it. He harassed me throughout the days from our marriage was fixed."

Izhaan stood like a part of him was reckoned and beaten black and blue. A part of his heart was too happy for the fact that Laiba loved him but he never knew this. He never that bastard had been a painful part in Laiba's life.

"I didn't knew this." He says looking down.

"I know. I understand but please don't stop this wedding." She sits in her knees and cries harder. She thought he would leave her. He pulled her up as she stood looking down, crying slowly.

"Look at me, Laiba." She hesitates. "Look at me. Chin up to me." She finally does, silently weeping.

"You can't have your chin down because you are going to be my wife. My wife doesn't cries. She is the strongest."

She smiles through her tears. He was the kindest man ever she had ever encountered that's when she knew, he never scared her. His beauty never scared her. The beauty of his heart, eyes and smile. He was everything she dreamt of.

"Thank you for choosing to bump into me for lifetime."

They fell harder.

They heard someone knock in the door. Laiba looks back in fear. She hushed him to leave but he doesn't. "Izhaan, we'll be in a huge trouble. Please go!"

"What will be the trouble? Us marrying each other? Isn't that what we want? Let's embrace it." He smiles walking over to the door of the room.

"If I want to marry you, I must have the guts to face anything that comes in your life, L." He opens the door. Laiba's heart bursts in fear realising who was standing.

Her father and Fawad. They are the least person she wanted to encounter. Fawad was okay. He would understand but what about her strict father.

Her father glanced at Izhaan and then at Laiba twice. "What is happening?"

"I am sorry, Mr. Patel." Fawad looks back and forth at Izhaan, trying to anticipate his next words. "I am sorry for breaking the rules but I had to because of Areeb."

"You knew about him, didn't you?" Her father asks.

"Yes, I did. But the information wrong about him. He told me that he was in love with Laiba for three years. He told me that she loved him as well. He forced me to make her elope this. To stop this."

Fawaz stood glued to his spot. He cannot imagine having his daughter's heart breaker again. He couldn't afford for that loss.

"What now?"

"Nothing of it is happening. Laiba told me everything. You don't need to worry." He says with much courage he could dig.

"Thank you for choosing me as her groom." He says gazing at his eyes. "I'd be forever thankful and grateful of you for giving me your daughter as my wife."

And that was the moment, Fawaz realised, Areeb was too bad for Laiba and Izhaan is what all she deserved in her life.

He knew she was going in the right hands.

Because he could have had jumped out of the window and act like nothing happened in the room but real men don't hide. They don't do things wrong, they make every wrong things right.

And Izhaan was one among them.

"Do you Laiba Patel daughter of Fawaz Patel accept Izhaan Ali son of Hashir Ali under the mehr of 1 crore?"

Everyone silenced themselves to listen to her answer. Put of everyone, Izhaan wanted to hear it. She closed her eyes and tried to remember the moments she spend with him. The only thing she remembers was,

When they bumped into each ither for the first time.

He was the best thing happened to her.

"Qabool hai." She says. She loves him, believe in him and is in head over heels for him.

Mrs. Laiba Izhaan Ali.

The chant of everyone congratulating each other could be heard but Izhaan's heart was too delighted to even acknowledge that her repeating it twice.

"Do you Izhaan Ali son of Hashir Ali accept Laiba Patel daughter of Fawaz Patel as your wife under a mehr of 1 crore?"

There was no time. No time to rethink this. He wanted this from the moment his eyes were laid on her. She thrilled with just the thought of being around.

Thus, he responds,

"Qabool tha, Qabool hai or Qabool rahega."

Everybody chuckles at his style but that's how much he was in love with her. He never imagined to fall for someone after after Sahar but one look. One look it was when he knew she was the one who could recover the ruined hope of loving in his heart.

For her, She was recovering the ruined hope.

For him, She had recovered the ruined hope.
