Past:

Taking the extra ink cartridge from one of the pencil pouches laying on the bench of their class, Ruhaan started to walk near Humaina.

"No! Ruhaan please no! Please Ruhaan!"

She started to run from a slow pace to fast as she ran towards the corridor outside the hall.

"Stop it please."

Humaina requested. Running through the filled corridors of her school. Ruhaan behind her.

"Please Ruhaan. I am seriously requesting you. Please keep the ink away. You know that I hate it right? "

Her pleading eyes rushing in both her sides to make sure she was away from him.

"I am Ruhaan Ashhar Khan! I won't leave soo easily and if you hate it then I am stubborn I won't let you go today. At least not today. Just stand still Humaina. I will not kill you."

Ruhaan warned as he ran behind her. Humaina rushed to the corner and all their friends engulf both of them.

"What is this yaar? Dekho ab mujhe tang math karo kyunke mujhe jaldi ghar jana hai. Ruhaan, main tumhe warn kar rahi hun. Please please mere upar ye ink na dalo."

(See, don't irritate me now because I need to go home earlier. Ruhaan, I am warning you. Please please don't through ink on me.)

Humaina requested and tried to back away. She closed her eyes as hard as she could. Slowly Ruhaan neared her to through the ink. She peeked slowly and got a glimpse of Ruhaan nearing her.

"No! No! No!"

She muttered and covered her face with her palms.

"Ruhaan! Ruhaan! Ruhaan!"

"You should do it Ruhaan."

"Come on dude, through it! What are you waiting for?"

Their friends encouraged Ruhaan to through the ink.

As he stood near her, he pressed his lips together and trying not to suppress his love for her. She never knew he loved her. He was scared that he might lose her. After he stood in front of her angered being for the irritative voice of their friends trying to encourage Ruhaan.

He taps his palms in her head and smiled. Throwing the ink cartridge out the nearest window. She smiled.

"What the hell Ruhaan! Tu Pagal hai yaar. Kyun ink cartridge bahar phek diye? At least is aakhir din main toh hame maza lene detha tu. Aisa toh tu koyi bhi ladki ke saath nahi kartha. I mean you have pranked a lot of them."

(You are mad. Why did you throw the ink cartridge out? At least we would have enjoyed this last day. You don't do like this with any girl.)

Sameer, one of their friends standing there asked. Totally irritated.

"Because I am more important and special than this."

Humaina signalled the window where Ruhaan had threw the ink cartridge.

"Yes, you are!"

Ruhaan smiled towards her. His love depicting through his eyes.

"OoOoOoOoohhhh..."

Their friends teased. Humaina just chuckled. She didn't know it was his love and appreciation for her.

"Don't forget to take your car keys with you."

Her elder sister Naimal reminded.

She tranced-out the beautiful memory with her beautiful ones. Looking at the car keys beside her breakfast table, she sighed.

First day of job.

Tough or easy?

Studying to become a pilot wasn't easy at all. It was of course tough for her without him next to her. What tolls have her life taken? She never knew that she needed him when he was with her but when circumstances separated them. It was indeed hard for her. To stand up for herself for every other thing. She had his back every time she was in trouble.

Standing up, she walked out of the living room to her father's room readily wearing her uniform.

She touched the batch she wore.

'Wonder Airlines'

Written in bold font. So many memories embedded in that airline.

"Hopefully, I won't meet him again because I can't handle the pain of leaving him again."

Humaina entered her father Zahid's bedroom. He sat near the window, drinking his early morning tea while reading his newspaper.

She sat near him on a stool. Sh begin,

"Papa I am gonna go today. I am going to prove the fact that you were innocent. I know Ashhar uncle will believe me. Today, I am a pilot of his airline. He will believe me because I will prove the fact that you were innocent."

"No, you will never get yourself indulged in those matters. I know I wasn't wrong. You know I wasn't wrong. Allah (SWT) knows that I wasn't wrong. That is the only thing that matters to me. I don't care what the world thinks about me,"

Zahid stated.

Humaina resisted agreeing,

"I care. I care about the way the world sees you because you are my world. My everything. I don't want you to live with this burden that you weren't wrong. The one's who were wrong will have to suffer because they had made you suffer."

"This airline had always respected me but in the end, no one trusted that made me realise no one can be trusted permanently except your parents. Parents can give anything and everything. They can sacrifice everything for you. Work cautiously. Don't ever trust anyone easily. I want you to develop yourself not others. All my life I told you to think about others before you think about yourself. But life taught me that you should think about yourself first. I love you, my daughter!"

Zahid hugged his daughter. A tear stroll down his cheeks.

"Ok sweet pea. Now go. Your bright future is awaiting you."

She smiled and walked out of the room. Leaving the house, After saying loudly

"Allah Hafiz."

Reaching the airport of Mumbai. She parked her car and walked out.

"First Officer Humaina?"

A deep voice of a girl disturbed her from her walk. She turned around looking in the direction of the voice. Her confidence radiating from her voice. Of course, she was.

"Yes?"

"Welcome to Wonder Airlines. I am Tina. The flight attendant. I hope you have a pleasant job in this airline. I'll escort you to your first flight and staff room."

Tina stated.

"Sure."

They walked towards the room and when reached she told her to wait in this room as her first flight is getting prepared to take off. She will have to travel to domestic places as she is a first officer.

"Thank you for guiding me the way,"

Humaina thanked her and walked in after she said,

"You're welcome, the First officer! I'll call you once the flight is prepared to take off."

Her first flight was from Mumbai to Jaipur.

She looked around the room, posh and clean that's what she felt.

Just like his heart was posh and clean where no one could enter except her.

She pondered around the room and sat in the waiting chairs situated there. Taking her phone out, she started to stroll on Instagram. Random posts of her school and college friends enjoying with their mates. A tear escaped her left eye when she remembered how he is used to looking at her. Love and care would always depict in his eyes. She regrets the fact that she never realised his love for her.

"First Officer Humaina?"

She looked towards the door from where the sound came. A man with a mischievous smile looked at her. She read the name in his batch.

'Hashim Ahmed'

She froze. This name had broken her father's name. This person broke his father's pride. Broke his father's heart completely. Her eyes radiated anger.

"Aamir Sahab ki beti?"

(Aamir Sir's daughter?)

She stood up to face him and his wrath. At least she didn't have any confidence but hope.

"Proudly a yes!"

Humaina exclaimed. Hashim chuckled at her tone.

"Proudly,"

He imitated.

Humaina walked near him and asked,

"I am telling you, I will break you the way you broke my father. There is no turning back. I have come so far just because of this. Trust me, I will not leave you the way you are. The count down begins Mr Ahmed!"

Humaina warned and walked out.

She heard,

"You cannot blow a leaf here."

Her tears burst out. She tried to control them but the pain was more.

She walked into a washroom and washed her face again and again. Her eyes red including her nose. She couldn't be mentally weak when it's time for her first flight. She soaked all the wetness of water from her face with a tissue, fixed her hijab and makeup and walked out with her suitcase of Wonder Airlines.

"First Officer?"

She turned towards the voice to see Tina standing there.

"Shall we go? You can come with me now."

Tina led her the way towards the flight. They walked on the flight. Tina showed Humaina the cockpit and made her comfortable.

"I'll be back."

She walked out of the cockpit. The senior officer wasn't there.

She was checking out the cockpit even though she knows everything. Everything was based on how his father described it, the only difference was her father described it as a senior officer but she was still a first officer as she is a fresher.

"We, Wonder Airlines provide you with fresh refreshments on your first day. What do you want to have Ma'am?"

This voice, she knew it very well. No one knew the voice better than her. This voice had made her crave for years. This voice immediately soothed her ears.

She slowly turns around to look at the flight attendant who was none other than...
