11:00a.m.

Winter break was over and I was back at school. The only good thing about coming back to school is that I don't have Ms.Rickafil no more. Which is a blessing. I don't need her stressing me out. Oh! And my pregnancy was still a secret, which I was so glad for.

Anyways right now I'm in third period. Might go home early. But idk it's my senior year and I already barely be in school and I need to get out this school. Only got three more months.

Oh yea. In my school, seniors get out in April. Like right before spring break. And my birthday is after spring break so I will be a graduate ready to live her life to the fullest...before her baby girl or boy comes. Haha

Anyways I'm ready to go home. I might just go-

"Hey do you have an extra pencil or pen? My led pencil just ran out of led." The girl next to me said with a small giggle.

I Neva really be into my classes when I come to school besides when I need to know the work but when it comes to people I don't be all that into them. I knew everyone but I don't talk to anyone and she I do not know. She must be new.

I snapped back into reality when she lightly tapped me again. "Huh. Oh um yea yea. I have an extra one." I turn to dig in my small pack for a pencil. But I didn't have any. All I had was a red pen. I turned back around. "Um I don't have a pencil but I have this red pen. If that works. I'm sorry. I could have sworn I had another pencil in here."

"It's okay. I can use the pen. I just need it to finish writing down these notes." She glanced over at my notebook.

"Oh I don't write notes. I take a picture of whatever is on the board and write it down later." I told her and she chuckled.

"Same. Well when it's a lazy day." She stated.

I chuckled. She was kinda cool. "Soo are you new around here? Just asking because I Neva seen you and I know everyone."

"Oh so your like popular?" She asked.

I giggled. "No. Not like that just people know me because of my family and I almost everyone because I speak to everyone when they speak to me." I giggled a little more.

She chuckled. "Oh well yea I'm new. I just moved here like last week but today is my first day."

11:45a.m.

"Well I'm Ki'Myra. Welcome to your new high school. I wanna assume your a senior because you look like one but idk. They have juniors and seniors in this class." I told her.

"Um no I'm a junior. Oh! And my name is Na-" She was about to tell me her name when we was interrupted by the teacher.

"Ki'Myra and Nakila would y'all like to tell the class the conversation that is more interesting to have than paying attention to my lesson.?" Ms.Harper asked.

"Um no I was just asking her for a extra pen." She said waving the pen in the air that I gave her.

Ms.Harper side eyed us and continued with HER lesson.

"So Nakila is your name. That sounds a lot like Tequila. Not to make fun of you or anything. J..just saying." I said trying not to hurt her feelings.

"Oh it's okay. Ik that. When I was old enough to know what Tequila was. I realize my name was very similar to that just spelling totally different." She giggled and I joined in with her.

She was really cool. We talked mainly the entire class and we exchanged numbers before class was over. Now Ik what y'all thinking. Where is Stori? Your bestfriend? Well y'all this is sad because this semester me and Stori don't have any classes together.

12:30p.m.

The only time we see each other is at lunch which is now. I was heading to my car while texting Stori.

Well I guess I can go to lunch by myself. I'm now in my car. I looked at my car.

I need a new car.

No reason. I just wan a new one. Ima still keep this one but I wan another one. Probably in a different color. Idk.

I sung that song as I made my way to Sonic. Idk bout y'all but I love sonic chili-cheese fries and right now that is what I wan with a chocolate milk shake.

I went thru the sonic drive-thru because I didn't feel like walking in. I was kinda have a lazy day. And turned down my music as I rolled my windows down.

12:45p.m.

"Hello. Can I take your order?" The man on the other side of the speaker said.

"Hi. Um, Can I get medium chili-cheese fries with a chocolate milk shakes?" I told

"I'm sorry ma'am, but we are out of chocolate milk shakes. But we do have vanilla, Oreo, and strawberry." He said.

I was in such a good mood today after third period that I didn't care that they didn't have chocolate. I was just gonna go with my second favor.

"Okay well I will take the Oreo milkshake." I told the man on the other end.

"Alright. What size?" He asked

"Medium." I told him.

"Is that all ma'am?"

"Yes."

"Well total is $16.10" He said.

"Alright." I said

I turned my music back up and at on my phone scrolling thru Instagram. As I was scrolling, I was noticing that I need my nails done.

Damn these bitches need to be done. I wonder if I need my toes done too.

I looked down.

Damn I got shoes on. I guess I'll see when I get home.

I went back to scrolling through Instagram and I got a message from Jeilani.

Y'all know Jeilani still my bodyguard but I don't really like to see him like that so now he's my buddy. During school, he can't actually be on campus with me so he follows me to school and waits til I get into the building before leaving to go do whatever. When lunch comes around he comes back. He knows I don't stay on campus to eat so he follows me and then we go eat at the park together.

Sometimes it's with Stori and other times it's not. Sometimes it's with Ace and other times it's not. One thing Ik is that they all just wasting gas. When Jeilani could just drop me off and pick me up for lunch and after school. If I decide to go back. But hey Ima let them figure that out.

I know he didn't just leave me on read. Then I heard a knock at my passenger side window. And it kinda scared me.

"What the fuck Lani?" I asked. "You scared me and why did you leave me on read." I said hitting him in the shoulder twice.

"Sorry. Why'd you hit me twice?" He asked.

"One was for scaring me and the other was for leaving me on read."

"Oh." That's was all he said.

"Oh my ass. I'm not buying you no damn Sonic. You should have told me that when you saw me pull up." I told him off.

"Come on KiBabie. Pls a nigga hungry." He said with a pleading mad face.

"Jeilani get out my face." I said with a straight face.

"Fine. Ugly ass being all mean and shit. Where Stori? Ain't she normally with you.?" He asked

"Um. Idk where she at but you said something came up. I didn't question it, just thought she had better things to do. I mean I see her all the time." I told him honestly.

"Oh. So you know if she single?" I looked up from my phone so quick.

"You like Stori? For how long? Since when? That's the same question." I said.

"Yea, she ight. And I guess since the first day I met. Which was when you was in the hospital a month or so ago. Remember I gave her a ride home." I interrupted him.

"Did y'all do it? Did you fuck my bestfriend?" I asked.

"Noo girl. We just talked. Anyways yk if she single?" He asked again.

"Nah but I can't find out." I said as I looked back at my phone.

He didn't say nothing so I guess that a 'ight'.

1:15p.m.

Anyways my food finally came and I was so super duper ultra happy.

"Here you go ma'am. Sorry for the lateness. I had to fill up me and one of my coworkers shifts." He said handing me my food and milkshake.

"It's alright. So how much was it again?" I asked him.

"Um $16.10" I handed him a $20 bill.

"You can keep the change." I told him.

"Thank you." He said. He was so sweet.

I put my seat belt on and roll my window up as he is leaving. I turn to see Jeilani eating my fries.

"Jeilani!!" I yelled.

He was so into eating my shit, I scared his ass.

"What?"

Is he serious? A fucking what. He know what.

"What you mean, What? You eating my shit." I said backing out the little drive thru and going park by Lani car. "Get out my car and gimme my food." I said grabbing my food quickly but carefully.

"Whatever. You going home or back to school?" He asked.

"I'm going home. I already know after I eat this Ima be tired."

"Ight. See you at the house." He told me.

"Ight." And Jeilani got out my car and hopped into his.

I was gonna go back to school but like I said I already knew once I ate that I was gon be tired. So ima just go home. Plus lunch end at 1:15 and it was 1:35. So there was really no point because school end at 2:30 and by the time I get back it's gon be 1:50. All ima have is 40 minutes of class which I'm sleep in. There was really no point and me going back to school.

I put my chili cheese fries back in they bag and drove home.

2:45p.m.

I got my stuff and food and phone. I unlocked the front door and set my stuff on the couch then took my car keys back out and locked my car up. I then grabbed my stuff and walked to my room.

Then there was a knock at the door. I already knew who it was. It was Jeilani. He was right behind me.

I went open the door and seen him.

Ughh not this again.
