REBECCA'S POV

Landon and I finished up the chili together but I left it covered until the bread was done. He was in the process of teaching me, well attempting to teach me Call of Duty on the old Xbox in the Bradley's living room when Ryan and Alex emerged from their showers.

"You aren't doing too hot babe," Ryan mentioned with an oomph when he plopped next to me on the couch.

"Well Landon just keeps telling me to hit the buttons and kill the guys! I don't know what that means!" I screech and toss the controller into Ryan's lap, thankful that I don't have to panic about virtually dying so brutally anymore. He chuckled in response but moved around on the screen until we were in some hidden basement room.

"Okay," he said while pulling me on his lap, "This will move your person around and this will move you screen, like imagine your head moving to look at stuff." He showed me what he meant and moved on with more instructions. By the time he returned the controller, I didn't remember anything except the shooting and running around buttons. Between my jumping and swearing on his lap, he would chuckle and reach around to give me a hand so I wouldn't die so quickly. Everyone was getting into it: cheering when I did well or Landon did badly and before I knew it, the timer for the bread was going off so we paused the game to eat some chili.

We didn't do much for the rest of the afternoon, just hung out and watched TV. Landon left sometime around eight, saying that he better get some time in at the gym or he was going to get fat. I wanted to argue with him but for how much he actually eats, I wasn't sure if his body would stay the same if he quit working out. Alex retreated upstairs with his phone tight in his grasp shortly after so Ryan and I snuggled up on the couch.

"I'm so comfy," he mumbled from his spot behind me. Since everyone left we decided to lay down and he was currently spooning me on the couch.

"Me too," I whispered back. His hand left its place from my hip and spun me around so I was facing him. "I thought you were comfy." He smirks.

"I was but I wanted to do this." He uses one arm to pull me in and tangles his free hand in my long hair to bring me in for a passionate kiss. After making out for a while, he pulls his face away with a smile. "You're so beautiful Becca."

I could feel the blush rising to my cheeks as Ryan chuckled and pecked my cheek. We stayed in our current position as he asked me questions: "Did it help your ribcage that you took the truck today?" His voice was still husky but he showed concern at the same time.

Nodding my head, he continued. "Are they feeling better? Matt's going to grill both of us on Saturday..."

"Yes Ryan, they're getting better," I almost snap but immediately feel bad. "Thank you for caring though," I add in sweetly and caress his stubbly jaw. He kisses the tip of my nose before burying his face against my neck. I secretly think it's adorable that this big, strong man loved cuddling with me. While lost in my thoughts, I run a hand through Ryan's short hair and fall asleep.

RYAN'S POV

I wake up with the hugest fucking kink in my neck I've ever experienced. Almost immediately, I bolt upright and try my hardest to crack it but it hurts too bad so my hand resorts to attempting to massage the knot out.

I snap open my eyes when I hear a sharp intake of breath and a soft thump. First, I realize I'm in my living room.

"Ryan, what's wrong?" Becca crawls off her spot on the floor where I accidently rolled her from my sudden movement. Reaching out, I pull her back up onto the couch and shoot an apologetic smile.

"It's nothing. I'm sorry I pushed you off the couch; are you okay?"

She yawns and rolls her eyes. Quickly calculating what the problem is: her tiny hands soon replace mine on my neck and massage in gentle circles. The rhythmic movement loosens the tight muscles and I can pop my neck.

"Ryan! That's disgusting!" she shrieks and yanks her hands away. "Don't crack your neck like that! I felt it move!"

Bellowing with laughter, I pull her towards me and plant a big one on her before dragging her off the couch.

"Go shower. It's early so I'll make breakfast." I give her butt a playful tap. "It's an away game so you're wearing the white jersey today." Her pretty, blue eyes roll once again but her lips turn up in a smile as she prances up the staircase.

~~~
I spent the next half hour or so mixing various vegetables in a bowl before adding in eggs. Just as I'm pouring the mixture into a pan, Becca hops up onto the counter and smiles at me.
"What are you making?" Her voice is sweet and cheery.
"Egg bake. It's like an omelet but easier since you just put it in the oven." I cover the mixture with cheese and pop it in the preheated oven. "Can you watch that? I'm going to shower quick."
She nods her head and starts pulling her hair into a braid. It astonishes me that she doesn't even have to look in a mirror to do that so I'm caught in a little trance for a second. Becca must misjudge my staring because she speaks up.
"I'm just leaving it in a braid until it dries so it doesn't get all frizzy Ryan." She looks kind of irritated.
"What?" I missed something, I better explain myself: "I just don't get how you can do that without looking. That's all I was thinking about." Pausing her hand movements, she looks at me inquisitively. Walking over to her, I kiss her cheek and whisper in her ear. "I like it better down though."
"I know," she states and that's when it clicks in my brain. My mouth forms an "oh" shape and she giggles. "There ya go, now ya got it."
Chuckling softly, I peck her cheek once more and head upstairs to get ready for school. When I come back down, adorning my blue jersey that smells like Becca, I see her packing our school lunches while the coffee pot is brewing and smile at how sweet she is. I take the bake out of the oven and grab a serving for both of us. Although I'm not a fan of getting up early, I don't mind having the ability to sit down and eat a relaxing breakfast with my girlfriend.
"I didn't get to play my twenty questions yet," she mentions between bites.
Grinning, I respond: "Go ahead."
"Okay, one: how come I didn't know you had a motorcycle?"
I shrug. "What kind of question is that? I don't really ride it unless it's summer because I have a truck to drive around in. I didn't really think of a time to randomly interject that 'hey by the way I have a motorcycle'."
"I guess."
"What's your second question cutie?" I didn't mean to sound so defensive for the last answer and didn't want to ruin her fun.
"Can I see it?"
"Of course. I can take you out on it too but not until we get the okay from Matt." She nods excitedly at that but then tilts her head a bit.
"Did you take other girls on your motorcycle?" Her face turns a bright red as soon as the question leaves her mouth, as if she hadn't meant to say that out loud and I can't help but chuckle.
"No but do I sense some jealousy?" With a smirk, I focus my gray eyes on hers.
"N-no. I was just c-curious." She was nervous as all heck.
"Becca I'm just kidding! But you seriously don't have to worry about that, I'm all yours." I quickly kiss her blushing cheek. "I'm going to grab our stuff. Alex should be down soon but keep thinking of questions for me alright?"
Just as expected, Alex comes barreling down the stairs seconds after I return with my things and Becca's backpack. She's already holding the door open with her foot while carrying our lunches, my coffee, and a container of egg bake for Alex, who grabs some water bottles and locks the door behind us.
