She wore a thousand faces, all to hide her own...

    .Ravenna.

I subconsciously grunt, clenching the blanket to myself. It was cold out and Klaus wasn't being particularly generous with it. What I assume to be the wrinkle in my forehead at the lack of warmth, smoothens out when the blanket covers up every inch of naked skin on me.

I'm a couple of seconds away from drifting off once again when the blanket is pulled away from me, causing an unbelievable amount of cold air to have access to my skin once again. Lifting myself off the bed, with my elbows propped, I find Klaus looking quite soothed and at ease while he hogs the blanket we are meant to share. I ignore every good and 'electric sparking' feeling in the depth of my stomach. The butterflies could go to hell, I definitely wasn't dying freezing cold. I yank the blanket from him, not bothering to be subtle about it. He subconsciously reaches out for the fabric but finds himself toppling over.

"What the hell?" He slurs, gazing up at me with tired eyes.

"Didn't your mama ever teach you to share?"

"Morning Raven!" I'm greeted by a fully energetic Amy the next morning. She smiles so wide that I find myself wondering if her cheeks hurt.

I cover up a yawn with the back of my palm as I approach the open kitchen.

"I don't think she likes me much." I hear Amy mutter to Shawn after I refused to reply her greeting.

"What the heck is this?" I scrunch up my face, lifting up the only canned food in the upper cupboard. It failed in the label department.

"Probably beef or something," Shawn responds. "You can get some cereal here. We brought them with."

I ponder over my choices, I'd been a bitch to his girlfriend but he was still offering me food. Heck, I wasn't going to let my pride get in the way of this, I was starving and was in desperate need of food.

"Thanks." I mumble, grabbing a bowl and spoon.

"Is Klaus up yet?" Amy turns to me with keen interest while I take a pour from the milk jar. I make my aim for the box of lucky charms next. "Isn't he hungry?"

I'm satisfied with the amount of cereal I have in and I lead on with the decision to put it down. "How about you stick to your boyfriend and I do the same with mine?"

Her expression screams 'surprise' when I pivot to gaze at her once again. Was she really going to play dumb?

"Thanks again." I send a nod towards Shawn's direction and make my way back to the room.

"Up and at it Larson!" I call out, going over to pull the curtains apart. Sharp rays of sunlight immediately pierce through the transparent glass, reflecting into the room.

I watch Klaus toss and turn as he tries shielding himself from the light.

"You have to get up. It's past nine and I'm already up." I say, taking a seat on the small sofa in the room. I keep my legs folded, making sure to cross at the ankles while I munch on my cereal.

"Close the curtains." He mumbles almost incoherently.

"Certainly not," I swallow. "Just get up, it's not that hard."

       "No, I'm hibernating."

"What? It's not that cold out anymore! and you're not even an animal!" I counter.

"I can be what I want to be." He slurs.

I roll my eyes, putting down my cereal. The walk to the bed is naturally short and quick paced. I plant myself on to his back, since he had gone with the choice of laying on his stomach. Leaning in, I place a kiss to his neck and trail up to his ear. My voice drops to a whisper as I let out slow, ragged breaths into it.

"Well, I can't exactly play dirty while you're asleep, can I?" I smirk, nibbling on his earlobe.

He reflexively flips me over pinning me underneath him and my smirk turns into a full smile. "Morning."

"You can play dirty now, you know." He gives a coy smile. I manage to slip away from him, retiring back to the sofa to finish up my cereal.

"Oh c'mon Raven!" He groans out, approaching me.

"Your morning breath is really bad." I tease, erupting into a fit of laughter. He takes me into his arms, pulling me over his shoulder, caveman style and I'm unable to decrease the sound of my cackling.

      "Put me down Niklaus!"

    "No. You've got nice legs."

"And you've got a sexy ass." I grin, attempting to smack it.

He places me to the sofa again and I'm unable to keep the smile off my face. I watch him run his fingers through his hair as he stalks out of the room to get to the bathroom. I finish up my cereal while he's gone and I don't let a single drop of milk go to waste. They were good for some certain areas anyway. I slip into one of Klaus' white shirt and short denim jeans. Boots were not required in the house so I kept my socks on and decided I was fully prepped to get reading.

"I need a towel for my hair." Klaus mutters, walking into the room with nothing but a white towel hanging around his waist. His wet hair drips onto the wooden floor and he's totally oblivious to my stare as he rubs at his right eye.

"You didn't realize that until..." My breath hitches when he gazes up to look at me, his blue-green eyes lighting up. "Now?"

"Do you have a towel to spare?" He inquires, stalking towards our bags.

"No, but I have something that'd help dry it much faster." I moan out, approaching him. "I'd give it to you if you pronounced the vowel sounds."

"That's ridiculous." He chuckles, turning to look at me.

"Do you want it or not?"

"Ah..." I push my lips against his when his mouth tips open. This wasn't in my plans for today at all but of course, he just had to strut in here looking so dangerously sexy and confident too. My hands wrap around his neck, pulling him closer to myself. Little moans escape his lips as I slowly move to his neck, nibbling on the skin there. "Raven..."
