Whatever's good for your soul, do that...

        .Niklaus.

I'm met by a lost Raven when biology rolls around. I'm bothered when she doesn't make a comment and just takes up the spare seat beside me. I feel so confused and lost, unable to decipher shit. I still had no idea why she had left home, started drinking and wasn't so keen on seeing her aunt or dad anymore. I just had the knowledge of her needing me by her side to keep her shit together. But I couldn't really deal with it anymore, we needed communication for this to really work and I wasn't just going to let her take control. I understood that she had her major issues but when it came down to this relationship, she needed to learn to drop the role of the leader and either ride along or get behind.

"Can we talk?" I flip my stood over, gazing at her. Her eyes momentarily make contact with mine before shifting to the front of the class.

       "Class is starting."

I move my gaze to the white board and find the biology teacher, already scripting the topic for the day on it. I ignore his appearance and grip her wrist, leading her out of the class. I hear the teacher counter against my action but choose to ignore his words just as much as I did his appearance.

"Don't touch me like that." Raven immediately growls, pulling away from my grip the moment we're out in the hallway.

"Quit doing shits that get me mad then!" I scream, pinning her against the closest wall. I watch as her eyes widen, obviously surprised by my outburst.

Her palms collide with my chest as she shoves me away from her. "What the hell was that?"

"I need answers Raven." I say, trying to control my breathing. My eyes screw shut as I try to put my focus into anything but my fucking anger.

          "To what?"

"You aren't home. You're drinking now and you don't even want to see your father anymore. Don't I deserve answers to those?" I inquire putting on a grave face.

"Not your problem Klaus." She scoffs, pacing around, fingers going through her hair, the usual way it does whenever she's pissed or she's done something really fucked up.

"If it's yours then it sure as hell is mine!" I'm unable to stop myself from yelling, not bothered by the numerous classes going on in the school.

"And why would it be? Because we're together?!"

"Because I love you!" I blurt out. I meant that. Maybe I had been battling myself for sometime now, refusing to accept it but I loved her and she needed to know it. I had been terrified of what her response would be but I couldn't think shit right now. I needed her to know I was seriously there for her. I needed her to really be able to put her trust in me. I needed her to know I'd do shit for her. All because I love her.

She stares at me in awe for a few seconds before breaking out of her trance. "Bad decision." She says and then strolls down the hallway and out of my sight. My fist collides with the wall as I scream out in frustration. Why did she have to make it seem so difficult?!

       .Ravenna.

He loves me? I've never heard anyone say that to me for a while now. Only person I really valued her words was my mom and she told me that a lot. But then she died and I couldn't really decipher why she kept putting those words in my head when she was just going to leave in the end.

I spend the rest of the day crashing in the bar not so far from my dad–Trent's home–getting wasted. Isabelle wasn't on her shift today and that was kind of good. She wouldn't really let me take in my alcohol and get all protective. She was probably the closest thing I actually had to a mother figure. Just hotter, cooler and so much sexier.

I trail out the bar when it gets late and I'm unable to keep track of time. I find myself walking the streets until I stop in front of the building loaded with the most apartments in the area. Isabelle's own being one of it. I trail up the stairs until I stop in front of her door. I'd been here before, multiple times actually. Like I said–she's cool. My fists collide with her doors and after a few minutes of pounding and hearing a bunch of cuss words from her grouchy neighbor. I try using the spare key she always keeps underneath her doormat. The apartment is completely quiet and dark when I step in...proof that she isn't home. What a bloody waste of time banging up the door like that.

I slouch onto her sofa, trying my best not to puke all over her furniture. After about thirty minutes of laying there, I hear the door click from the other side and I'm quick to switch off the light blub just the way I had saw it. Seconds later, Isabelle comes stumbling in...but not alone. I hear moaning and smacking of lips as the door shuts behind her. I forgot her life was rated PG 18 now. The movements go on and the moans get louder until I feel their approach towards the sofa I'm seated on. Just as Isabelle's weight begins pressing down on the sofa, I flick the closest lamp on and that earns simultaneous screams from the horny couple.

"Raven?!" Isabelle screams, clutching her chest. I notice the bright short red dress she has on which is literally hugging every curve of hers while still calling out to probably every guy to come and fuck her.

Her boyfriend's gray eyes trail up to me and I flash him a toothy grin. Even in my drunk state, I still managed to find humour in things.

       "Hey Dickson."

       "Jesus. Declan, Raven." Isabelle counters.

"You just mentioned three names. One of which happens to be mine." I slur.

A loud sigh escapes her lips as she inches closer to me, assessing my facial features...I think.

       "You're wasted."

I ignore her words as a thought flashes across my mind. "Belle, would you be my mom?"

       "Okay. You're really wasted."

     .Niklaus.

"Where's our girlfriend?" Shawn smirks when I slump on to my bed. It was already really late and I was kind of getting worried about Raven. She just took off like that and I can't help but feel guilty about it all. I shouldn't have pulled her out of class and started asking questions. She obviously didn't want to talk and I just pushed it all by saying I love her. Fuck!

"I said I loved her." I mumble, shielding my face with my elbow. "God, she took off."

Shawn laughter fills the room as I get into the details of the event that occured this afternoon. I feel even more stupid with each word. Now, I was the one having to go through the pain of not having an idea where she was. I'd try going to her house but she's mad with her father for some reason and will definitely not be anywhere near him at a moment like this. She'd probably break some bones if she was.

"Don't worry buddy," Shawn pats me on the back. "She'd show up."

I groan even more, rolling over the bed. Shawn hands me one of my gaming pads as he turns on my flat screen.

         "Seriously?" I lift a brow.

      "Oh c'mon, bros before hoes."

My fists reflexively make contact with his jaw when he lets out that sentence and while I feel bad for the move I just pulled, I feel even more pissed about what he just uttered.

"Fine. I'm sorry. Jeez," He apologizes as I grab the pad. I go through my list of games and try to pretend I didn't just hear him say "Whipped asshole."
