We stopped checking for monsters under the bed when we realized they were inside of us...

        .Niklaus.

I smile to myself watching Shawn flirt with the girl he has been dying to talk to for the past four months now. As high up his walls were and as tough as his bad boy facade seemed to be, he was really a soft teddy on the inside and I figured once this crush of his got to know, she'd really come to like him. I had to shove him towards the direction of the girl before he even had the balls to go talk to her and right now, I'm pretty sure he's shaking in his boots.

It was really good to watch though and I couldn't wait to hear the outcome of it. She most definitely couldn't say no if he asked her out. Shawn was by far, one of the best looking guys in this preppy school. His light blonde hair and blue eyes were charms I had come to know most girls couldn't resist.

I notice the girl nodding repeatedly for a few more times before flashing him a toothy grin. It seemed to be going pretty well.

Shawn walks up to me after a few more minutes, repeatedly nodding his head while he gives me a thumbs up. The girl packs up her books, making her way out of the library.

I pull Shawn into a bro hug the moment she's out of sight. "Tell me you asked her out."

"I asked her out." He curtly says raising his chin and I clap him on the back.

"The bar is totally my treat for the rest of this week." I grin at him. "I'm so proud of you man."

"Oh crap." His humorous tone suddenly rises. "You're saying stuffs my dad would never say."

I pull a strand of his hair and he whines in pain before we both burst out laughing again. We stalk towards the entrance of the library, seeing as we only came in because of Shawn's crush anyway. He had her schedule memorised in his head but he couldn't even remember when his sister's birthday was ninety percent of the time.

I immediately bump bodies with a girl as I obliviously pass through the library's door. My hand, which was over Shawn's shoulders immediately drops as I stare at the girl who cusses under her breath.

"Was he really expecting me to stop?" I hear her say.

I hadn't catch her face properly and all I knew was she had short raven black hair. Her hair almost lining up with the colour of the leather jacket she had on and those nice boots.

          Leather Jacket?

I pause to take another look at the piece of clothing over the uniform to be sure I wasn't hallucinating? Did Williams suddenly allow the use of other clothings except the school's? Or was this girl just new and oblivious to the wrath of her principal?

I really hoped it was the former because the latter wouldn't work best for the unknowing individual.

I walk up to Shawn again, inserting my hands in my pockets.

"You okay dude?" He asks, staring down at me.

"Yes! My best man just scored a date with his undying crush!" I scream and I hear Shawn groan behind me as I bounce off.

It was fun to tease him sometimes.
